About This Property

Pondside living in one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Boston. Two bedroom, one bath first floor apartment on Orchard Street. $2700 per month—(first month and security deposit required), plus utilities (oil, electric, gas) This apartment is the first floor of a two-family home in the Pondside neighborhood of Jamaica Plain. Less than 20 min walk to Orange Line Green St. Station, 5 minute walk to buses and “downtown” JP—a vibrant community of small shops and restaurants. Just steps to the Emerald Necklace highlights of the Arnold Arboretum and Jamaica Pond. In process of being renovated, with new washer/dryer and fridge. • On street parking (no permit needed, plenty of space) • No smoking or vaping of any kind on property (inside or out) • No cats The owners (and their dog Otis) live upstairs—this is their only rental unit, so “landlording” is not our main job! We are looking for quiet, friendly, helpful tenants who communicate clearly and in a timely way. We cover snow removal, for example but if we are away we would appreciate someone willing to pitch in if needed. Ability to do small repairs (reimbursed by us of course) etc. a plus. This is a great neighborhood, with wonderful neighbors. We are looking to maintain a comfortable environment for our tenants, as well as for ourselves.
