There is building with the area up and coming, but the community is still very quiet and peaceful. You may bike to anywhere and walk to most places. Memorial Park is 5 minutes away and White Oak is closer. Walk to the gym (Seven Facet), crossfit, Prime 131 (A high end restaurant), Cactus Cove or even the Drip Bar. 11th street connects into the heart of the Heights and there are many parks and trails. You can find me walking around the fancy neighborhood near us, Lorraine Cherry Nature Preserve right down the street or even Heights Boulevard path. I drive to Memorial Park at least a couple times a week and it is within 5 minutes if that.
