About This Property
This is a well kept classic building, in what longtime Capitol Hill residents describe as the most livable part of the hill. With a nearly perfect walk score of 97 out of 100, you'll find everything you need including an excellent grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants, and retail shops all within a few blocks. We are close enough to the Pike/Pine corridor that you can walk to the bars and clubs within 10 minutes, but far enough away that you'll never have to deal with the party crowds. We are also blocks away from major bus lines, and the newly completed Capitol Hill light rail stations, that can get you from the hill to Downtown or the U-district in 5 minutes. Our units feature hardwood floors, crown moldings, many original fixtures, and vintage charm and style. Brand new laundromat quality machines on site with app or quarters for payment. Secured building, with intercom system.

Yes, it's called Capitol Hill -- but it isn't the capitol and there's no capitol building. So how did this Seattle neighborhood get its name? Back around 1900, a real estate developer renamed the burgeoning community from "Broadway Hill" to "Capitol Hill" because he wanted the capitol to be moved from Olympia to Seattle. That never happened, and the quirky neighborhood kept its new quirky name. Capitol Hill is the neighborhood for those who love nightlife. As Seattle's premier place to party, Capitol Hill is home to coffee houses, taverns, bars, nightclubs, and theaters.
Home to artists and musicians, Capitol Hill features a variety of festivals and events throughout the year, and it is home to the Capitol Hill Arts District. College students also find their way to the Hill, which is home to Seattle Central College and is just south of the University of Washington.
