Neighborhood

Magnolia rests on a hilly peninsula in Seattle – which is largely encompassed by Discovery Park. The park’s beaches are home to numerous types of wildlife and the West Point Lighthouse. The lighthouse – which is the oldest in the area – was built in 1881, used to guide incoming ships into Elliott Bay.

Magnolia Park is another cool and peaceful green space that overlooks the Puget Sound, Olympic Mountains, and Mount Rainier. Magnolia’s business district, or “The Village,” is home to many specialty stores and family-owned businesses, plus some of Seattle’s top restaurants.
