Property Ratings at Wolfe Run
After living in other apartment communities, here in San Antonio, my Hubby and I are Happy to call Wolfe Run Apts our home, as Empty Nesters. Very Clean..no pest problems...and I absolutely LOVE the 1 bedroom 1 bath plan layout with a fireplace which is large enough to fit the Brand New Sectional that I have wanted for years but never had the room!! There is plenty of storage spaces within the apartment, including a huge pantry/utility room. We also love the Covered Playground for our Grandsons, who look forward to coming to visit. The best bang for the Buck.
This place was a NIGHTMARE. They do not keep the apartments. We lived on the second floor and one night I saw something crawl under the stove..IT WAS A RAT! We are very clean people and when I told the office about what was going on they only came and put traps down and never came to check them. I have a one year old and imagine your child walking around there’s rat traps! Then once the rat was caught we wanted out of our lease or another apartment..they only would let us out of the lease if we paid the rent. WHO would pay rent where there is TOXIC mold and roaches everywhere. My child can’t even breathe in there at night. Our credit is ruined because of this place and we literally had to throw away all our stuff because of the rat. There was a rat hole in my child’s bedroom that no cared to cover. This place is the DEFINITION of you get what you pay for. Now my family is left homeless. The staff did not go out of their way to fix this issue they just wanted us out. They gave us two weeks to be out and STILL expected rent.
Don't stay here they have roaches all up in the apartments, when something breaks they take forever to fix it, and when you move out they will try to hit you with hidden fees so they can make more money. Cutthroat apartments.
My apartment is in the perfect spot where the sun hit my room and brightens my morning. The pool is just 10 feet away too! I'd lay on their nice cut grass if it was weird for people seeing me laying down.
The good: 700sqft; washer/dryer; storage space; walk-in closet; alarm system; covered parking; responsive staff; once cleaned properly, not a bad place - quiet and crime free. The bad: the cleaning service's definition of "clean" didn't match mine. The ugly: nothing above 5ft clean--top of refrigerator, shower, cabinets, shelves, bathroom fan, air vents, etc; carpet stains; drops of paint on carpet and linoleum floors; behind refrigerator; air conditioner panel full of dust.
One of the better complexes I've lived in. The buildings are kinda old but not decrepit. Management staff is awesome and helpful. Work orders are usually completed pretty fast. Good location, haven't had any trouble. Located near plenty of restaurants and a grocery store. Close enough to the highway for commuting but far enough not to deal with the noise and lights.
There are many places you can live but this is by far a great place with 2 different pools BBQ grills for all a very family type place the office staff and maintenance staff are always helpful very pet friendly the Manger is top notch the cable being included is a great adage and the workout room is good for releasing the stress of the day and if you need to get on the interweb they have a WiFi area for you too hey you could live any where in San Antonio but there's only one place where you will be treated like your family and that's here at Wolfe run
