When you move to Texas you move here because you have heard about Southern Hospitality. I lived in Texas 9 years before I found just that. And I found it at Windsor Lantana Hills. My neighbors have been helping me rehabilitate a rescue dog who WAS (now much better) afraid of his own shadow. But the staff here also stepped in. Head of Maintenance (Will) knows every dog by name, and will even help you set up playdates. The entire staff is invested in you having a great experience. I've never waited more than an hour for maintenance request to be fulfilled. But overall this is a place to actually feel at home, to know your neighbors, to trust the staff to make sure things go smoothly, and to honestly just feel safe.

I generally thoroughly enjoy living at Windsor Lantana, it is a beautiful and well maintained community. I am especially impressed by Michael Sabatini, the leading consultant. He has been very attentive to all of our needs, and has bent over backwards to help out with specific items. Recently I was traveling out of state and urgently needed access to an item I had left in my apartment and Michael went way out of his way to help coordinate me gaining access to that item. 5 stars to him and 5 stars to the community experience in general!

We do not have any running water at this time and the entire community's maintenace is backed up. Very poor infrastructure. Not sure if this community was built in the 60s or 70s but it certainly does not feel as modern as Windsor makes it seem. We had the same issue last year and the year before with pipes bursting. Now our kids cannot shower or use the restroom and we have to leave to go live at our parents house for a few days. Certainly will not be renewing here. Not getting the value we paid for time and time again with these recurring issues.
I had water damage from the freeze earlier this year. What I find extremely unacceptable is that at no point in the repair process, did I have any idea when any work was going to be done. When I reached out to make sure the subcontractors would be able to perform their work unhindered, I was told that the work was isolated to the bedroom. Imagine my surprise when every single piece of furniture is moved and in random spots, my bed inaccessible, my toilet inaccessible, and my shower inaccessible. I was not warned that this was going to happen so I didn't put anything away or secure anything in areas other than my bedroom, so I can't even really begin assessing what has been moved. What I can tell you is that I feel violated knowing that a bunch of subcontractors went through all my personal items due to a lack of communication from your team. I can also tell you that I am upset to see that my sensitive electronics are coated in a layer of dust and scattered about in such a way that I can't tell if anything is missing or damaged. I can tell you that I have a few plants that have been knocked over or damaged in some way. Your inclination here might be to say they are just plants, but some of these are expensive orchids that have been in my care for years. So in short, I am very upset. This happened on Friday. Today is Monday and I have yet to received any communication or a fix from them. I have been staying in a hotel since Friday.
The apartments and amenities are nice. Quiet place to relax. There is no hot water in the bathroom sinks and the fixtures are very old looking which is surprising compared to the marketing of this property.

Staff is amazing!!!! Everyone walks around with a smile making everyone feel welcomed. Maintenance is fast always willing to go the extra mile to get the problem resolved and you can't forget the wonderful ladies working in the office keeping customer service as a priority and making Lantana the wonderful place it is! I love it here!
We are very happy with this community. The property is clean and well-maintained. The pool is great and I use the gym several times a week. We have had a couple of very minor maintenance issues which have been resolved quickly by friendly staff. Highly recommend!

The management of this community far exceeded my level of expectations. Not just COVID, but through the Feb. 2021 winter storm as well. They were informative, supportive, considerate and more importantly THERE. I haven't lived in an apt. complex in over 48 yrs. I never dreamed this level of service still existed. Thank you to the hard work and extreme effort the office & maintenance staff put in to make sure we are safe and comfortable. I highly recommend this community.
I was asked to provide an overall review. It's pretty here, outside and inside. The pool is beautiful. I asked management to alter the schedule of the dog cleanup staff which operate outside my bedroom window so it wouldn't awaken me early each morning, and they did. I appreciated that tremendously. Sometimes the gas grills don't work or don't work very well, including yesterday when I tried to grill. I've previously reported the issue a couple of times. Our apartment did not have power for 4 days during snowmaggedon, and did not have water for 18 days. Most of that time/water problem was due to broken pipes on the property. The apt management company paid for us to stay in a hotel during that time, and prorated our rent, but they would not reimburse our related expenses, and we had to be proactive to get reimbursement. I was asked to share a review about a recently "completed" maintenance issue, but at the time I received that request, no one from maintenance had come by to fix the issue. They came by on the 7th day after I submitted the work order. It was a simple matter and they fixed it well.
I love living at Windsor Lantana Hills, I always feel safe and secure. The grounds are beautiful and always well kept. The amenities, especially the pool area, are a fun place to relax and unwind.
The moving process was simple. We moved from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom. The apartment did a good job Im with the whole process. Unfortunately since we actually moved in 3 weeks ago, we have only lived in our apartment for a total of 9 nights. The winter storm situation was somewhat understandable at first but it has been 15 days since we have had water in our apt. Im willing to bet we are among the last people in the state of Texas to get their water back on. So far the apartment has been willing to pay for our hotel, Im hoping they make things right and prorate our rent for the days we spent without water, as they stated in an email, when the situation first started.
This community is amazing! The grounds are well kept, the amenities are worth the stay here and the staff is amazing. The office is continuously keeping us informed and up to date on any issues that may arise (which isn't many). The features and quality of the apartment are well kept after each tenant, as well just helps feels like home. The location is the perfect distance to downtown, to zilker park and a lot of restaurants. It feels very welcoming, even a move during Covid-19. The staff are ready to help as needed. The pool is amazing, the exercise room is clean with lots of options to fulfill a workout. Love having a couple of BBQ near by for those summer nights. There are plenty of activities held monthly to help you find friends here at the complex. As a mom of two littles, I find it family friendly.

The management and maintenance teams are responsive, kind, and always go above and beyond... truly the best I've ever experienced anywhere I've lived. The community is safe and wonderfully clean. My husband and I love the amenities, views, and how lovely it is here. My "average" ratings and unlikelihood of referring anyone to live here has mostly to do with how thin the walls are, which of course management now has no control over. We do really like our neighbors and they usually don't make excessive noise, but when you can hear them cough, sneeze, have normal-volume phone calls, talk to their pets, use the restroom, vacuum, use their garbage disposal, snore, engage in bedtime activities, etc... it just doesn't make for a fully comfortable living experience. Humidity has also been a major problem and parking can sometimes be difficult as well.
Best apartment complex Ive lived at and they truly take care of your maintenance needs quickly. Super friendly staff too! And communication is world-class; I dont say that lightly.
I was advised that there was a leak from my apartment to the unit below mine. Maintenance came twice. On the 2nd visit, they cut a hole into the sheet rock behind the shower pipes to fix the leak. They said they would return in a few days to fix the hole they made. It took 4-5 phone calls and two weeks for them to return to fix it. Though I received apology after apology from Megan in the community office, no one ever explained the delay.
I love the location of this complex and the price for the location is outstanding. Your 12 minutes from Downtown in a brand new complex and pay a much lower rent. Its great.
The employees who work here (both in the office maintenance), are very courteous, responsive, and kind. We appreciate that they take all of our concerns very seriously, and it truly adds a sense of security to our being here, as well as an elevated sense of living. We love living here and would recommend it to anyone!

Windsor is everything I wanted in an apartment. Close enough to the city to make last-minute dinners downtown easy but also far enough to still be able to immerse yourself in nature.
I have lived here for nearly 5 months. My experience has had ups and downs. Staff changes seem to have improved things. The area is great and apartments, beautiful. However, the walls are thin and dogs bark throughout the day from balconies, unattended by owners. Most outdoor grills don't work. An awful smell permeating the hall and into our apartment has gone un-remedied despite requests. The staff are friendly.
Clean, quite, landscape well manicured, maintenance speedy, very quick to respond to questions, assistance & needs. Overall, I'm made a great decision to make this my home.

We have lived at Windsor Lantana Hills for the last two and a half years. We are so happy here! The management and maintenance could not be more friendly or efficient. The property is clean, modern, and well-maintained. We highly recommend this property or any Windsor property as this company really takes care of their staff and residents.

The facilities (grounds, apartment, pool, grill area, etc.) are excellent. The staff are very friendly; as are the neighbors. It is not, however, a place for individuals who enjoy sleeping-in as the many dogs barking or the maintenance cart passing by with their noisy plastic wheels in the early morning hours make it impossible. On Thursday (and sometimes on Friday) the grounds keeping with mowers and blowers start about 7:30. We do understand heat plays a role, but it is a condition that affects sleeping and reflects on ones quality of life. For us, the only trash receptacle is all the way across the community campus making for a long walk with a heavy bag of trash. Doable, but aggravating.
We always receive excellent service and professionalism from the maintenance and leasing team. We love living here!

I wish that the doors could be propped up in the hallways -- due to COVID-19 and to help avoid touching so many surfaces. Also -- the door to the hallway by unit is loud and squeaks, but I noticed the downstairs one isn't like that. Would be great if they could all have something to keep from the squeaking and door slamming noise. The walls here are super thin. I can hear the neighbors next door talking and their baby makes loud noises all the time! Not to mention the music sounds when I'm trying to work.
I am so impressed with Windsor Lantana Hills! The move-in went so smoothly and all of the leasing agents in the office were all very helpful. The apartment itself was so clean and was so intact when we moved in. Loved the selling gifts for ourselves and our pup! Thank you! We are very happy to be here!

Windsor lantana is an amazing complex. I moved from Windsor oak hill and theyre both wonderful, you cannot go wrong with either. I also love how beautiful the property is and how animals are allowed! The entire community here is amazing.
The apartment is in a great location with a beautiful view. The dog park is great and staff are always very responsive and have great customer service. The building itself is a bit poorly made. The floors are very thin so you can hear the people above stomping around and the floorboards pop up here and there. Some of the finishings weren't made very well, so the quality is a bit lacking.
We are very well satisfied. Ongoing concern is the condition of the stairwells which, I believe, is being addressed.
I love being a resident at Windsor Lantana Hills! Me, my wife, and our 11 year old labradoodle could not be happier. The apartment, garage, dog park; clubhouse - meeting room, catering kitchen, exercise room, and home theatre; pool, fire pit, BBQ grills... and the list goes on and on which are all fantastic. The leasing staff are equally great - feel like royalty the way we are treated and pampered. I could go on forever, this is the place to live!

Windsor Lantana Hills and its sister communities are the first to appear on my radar during my search for the best apartments in Austin to reside in. The community is clean, attractive, friendly and homey, with a variety of facilities provided. The apartments are amazing to say the least and well worth the money. When I live here, I feel posh!
The move-out experience was horrible and negated the good things, if any, we had to say about the community. They will charge exorbitant fees upon moveout which includes $350 for carpet replacement with a couple of minor usual spots and $175 for deep clean which is separate, including various other fees. Please don't fall into the trap if they offer lower security deposit initially, they will recover everything like crazy in the end! Also, the apartment with such high rent does not have valet trash, and then walk to the trash is quite a bit which gets frustrating at times. Parking is a big issue and finding open parking spots is a nightmare. In a similar rent range, there are various other communities like Pearl Lantana which offer better services, hence you might be better off signing a lease elsewhere.

Very pleasant place to live, excellent staff.
Great location, nice complex. Main areas were clean, a ton of lint behind washer/dryer and other hidden areas when we moved in so cleaning was subpar. Walls are a little thin as we can hear neighbors all around us.
