Filled with million-dollar mansions and wide-open spaces, rentals here tend to be slightly higher priced than those in other Austin neighborhoods, but the proximity to the lake makes the location unbeatable. Commuters can reach Downtown Austin, located 15 miles to the southeast, in about half an hour.

The northern part of Grandview Hills is undeveloped and forested. Homes and apartments are located to the south and southeast, mostly along 620 and close to Concordia University Texas.
