The only negative I see is not being able to switch from heat to AC. Once it's switched you can't go back to heat.

Windsor Community Herndon is extremely happy and very safe place to live because it is fully gated , highly competent leasing office staff and maintenance team. The dwelling units are well designed and height of the roof is designed excellent in all units. The property is very easy to access the Washing DC high way as it is located strategically. Besides above all, metro station, popular grocery shops , banks, pharmacy and popular food joints are just walking distance. For all of my friends and future residents , I highly recommend this property to live happily.

We moved into Windsor Herndon Apartments on February 7th, and it has been a fantastic experience so far. The location is perfect, offering a short commute to my workplace and easy access to shops and local amenities, which has made settling into the area so convenient. The community features have been a huge plus for us. The dog park and children’s play area have been incredibly convenient. The Amazon lockers are another great addition, making package deliveries safe and hassle-free. A special shoutout to Logan and Lauren, who were extremely helpful throughout the entire move-in process. Their support both before and after our lease began made the transition smooth and stress-free. The maintenance team has also been outstanding—always professional, prompt, and helpful whenever we’ve needed assistance. Overall, we’ve had a wonderful experience here and highly recommend Windsor Herndon Apartments to anyone looking for a great community and living space!

The property is clean and the tenants in recent months have been more courteous regarding noise levels. The community events are well advertised, however, they do not add anything to my living experience. The price of rent does not equate to the quality of amenities and overall living. The management team is doing the best they can and Logan is the best.
Shin was fantastic! He always has a positive demeanor and gets the work done!

I have been so happy with my decision to move to Windsor Herndon so far! As soon as we toured the property, it felt like home and Logan was so helpful with all of my questions. The amenities are great and I love how the playground is in a central area of the community—my son has had the best time playing outside. Also, the maintenance crew has been fantastic at addressing anything I’ve needed fixed. This has been the best move-in experience I’ve had an apartment complex so far!
The maintenance team is amazing. They always respond quickly, even after hours. Mr. Shin is so friendly and knowledgeable. Plus, usually he is able to fix something within an hour of submitting the work request. I also appreciate how well the grounds are kept. The landscaping is beautiful and well-maintained. And the wonderful lady that does the common area/grounds cleaning is so thorough and pleasant- it makes me happy everytime I see her.
Beautifully built and mantained 1-3 bedroom apartments in a wonderfully landscaped gated sommunity in the heart of Herndon, VA. Outstanding value for the money. Altogether an excellent and brilliant place to live.
Winsor Herndon Community gave us outstanding service with our recent move there. They were very accommodating with regards to our move in date. We also received prompt service about our request to fix a shelve.

Shower sucks. No water pressure. No hot water. Have to fight with the valve for five minutes to switch the water from tub faucet to shower head.

When it comes to maintenance, I am extremely satisfied with the service and staff at Windsor Herndon.
Windsor Herndon Appartments is very conveniently located (very near to airport IAD, Washington DC & Metro station) and highly secured (gated fully) community. The amenities and floor plans are excellent and sunlight to the rooms is awesome. Importantly , the leasing office staff are highly competent in handling any type of query with very quick response times. The maintenance staff are an asset and back bone for this community as they complete the assigned jobs (at least two of them in past 3 months for me) swiftly and efficiently. I highly recommend to other friends this community who are relocating to Herndon. For families who are not having car , this community is a boon as there are all stores and restaurants just a walking distance

I was happy with the quick response to my maintenance request and the work done, but disappointed that they used my personal washcloth for clean up and left my tub dirty after fixing a small toilet leak.
The maintenance team is fantastic. Very knowledgeable always knows how to get the job done and is so friendly.
So far I am very pleased with my experience at Windsor Herndon. Logan from the leasing office is communicative, professional, and available. I contacted the emergency maintenance line about a water issue and it was addressed immediately.
Windsor Herndon is in a good location, is a peaceful community with no major issues and is a good value.
There is no parking spot for each apartment!! So if you come late you may park 300 ft away from your building. The amount of cars exceeded the amount of apartments due the their policy that anyone can have as much cars as he want as long he pays $10 a month for each car. Reserved parking is available with extra $50!!!. Another issue is the cockroaches in the apartment, they are everywhere and all sizes!!

I absolutely love living in Windsor communities. The property is always clean and full of amazing residents. The staff and maintenance team are excellent. I’m glad I’m able to call it my home.
Overall, the community at Windsor Herndon is satisfactory. The community is quiet and clean.

I believe the staff is great, everyone is nice and friendly. However, there’s two things that I don’t like at the moment- old apartment (the apartment is not newly renovated but the price is the same as other newly renovated apartments in the area), and the community gate has been broken half of the winter.
Upon moving into Windsor Herndon, we immediately noticed many issues with our apartment and continue to discover items that are not working as expected. Our apartment did not appear to be fully inspected, cleaned, or prepared to be move-in ready prior to our move-in date. Maintenance and management has been extremely responsive, however the apartment did not meet the expectations we had based on the apartment we previously toured and how the community is advertised. We did not feel "welcomed home" when we first moved in, and continue to find hidden issues that were not immediately apparent, and should have been fixed prior to a new resident moving in.
Maintenance team at Windsor Herndon is the best I have seen. They are very responsive and make sure the issues are fully rectified, before leaving the unit.
So far so good. I've only been here for a month. At move in my key wouldn't work, but the lock was immediately changed and I haven't had any issues since. I've had some maintenance concerns but they usually show up within 24-48 and fix the problem with no issues. All in all it's been a good experience for the first month.

Windsor Appartments Herndon is the most happy and secured place to live with ease of access for everything that we require daily basis. Importantantly, the leasing office management team are highly competent , friendly and able to understand the issues if any and help to resolve immediately. The maintenance team is very much equally competent and available round the clock. The Appartments are fully renovated with excellent ventilation in all rooms. The amenities are excellent and management team conduct events very frequently which enable the dwellers to be in constant touch. As it is fully gated community , security aspect is taken care completely. I fully recommend the friends and future residents to opt this community without any hesitation
I am overall happy with my new apartment. A couple concerns to share; the apartment was not 100% clean when I moved in, a better job could have been done. I did have a few roaches at the beginning. They quickly brought an exterminator out and it seems to have stopped them. Any issues I have had the response has been very prompt.
Maintenance team at Windsor Herndon is top-notch. Joel and others have showed up promptly every time we submit a request and do a wonderful job. Kudos to them!

my overall experience with the Windsor team is excellent. after i got my keys they offered to accompany me and ensure i have access to the gate and facilities. i would score my overall experience as a resident of Windsor as excellent. this is based on the quality of my apartment home as well as services, access to amenities like gym, lighting levels in my home, and what i get for what i pay.
Logan & staff made our move in very easy and welcoming
Love the security and the playground is our favorite place, we would appreciate it could have swings.
