The towns of Bloomfield and Windsor border the Connecticut River, with Bloomfield directly north of the University of Hartford. This area is rich with history and provides a fantastic, tree-filled setting dotted with historic architecture. Bloomfield is bordered by Penwood State Park and Talcott Mountain State Park, both of which offer stunning views and terrific places for hiking and nature-watching. As the first English settlement in Connecticut, Windsor was settled in 1633. It still features its colonial charm with fantastic historic sites like the Oliver Ellsworth Homestead, a National Historic Landmark dating to 1781, and the Hezekiah Chaffee House, a historic house museum that was built around 1765.
Bloomfield and Windsor are located on the north side of Hartford, and Interstate 91 divides these two towns for easy commutes to downtown, just six miles away.

Property Ratings at Williamsburg Apartments
Ive only been here about a month and a half, so my review could be slightly better or worse depending on how things turn out more long term... However, regardless my initial few weeks here have been excellent. The management staff have accommodated a small handful of maintenance requests quickly and have exceeded my expectations, which obviously is a huge plus. Two of the requests were my own doing (or was a request) and not the fault of the unit. The unit itself was cleaned and turned over rather well before I moved in. New stainless appliances, new flooring, and the maintenance guy has been very friendly, helpful, and has on occasion taken care of things before I've had to ask. What else do you want? Okay, so the unit runs a bit warm (76-78 w/heat off) and the noise from the flooring in the unit above can be considered less than ideal, but hey, it's an apartment. All in all, the place is well kempt, well maintained, and I had to leave a positive review after about 45 days. Take it fwiw.
Through the managers error with billing. 8 families were without heat and hot water during coldest weekend of year.No compensation or formal explanation from management. Several inquiries but no response.
Worst service ever. Multiple issues before moving in like broken cabinet, defective dish washer etc. It's 6 months after the complaint and still no service. Apartment manager referring to a maintenance guy who's not even responding to calls. Worst service ever. Multiple issues before moving in like broken cabinet, defective dish washer etc. Apartment manager referring to a maintenance guy who's not even responding to calls. Facing so many issues still no response. Never experienced this type of worst service anywhere else.
This is a nice apartment complex that you can truly make home. The neighborhood is nice, quiet and relaxing. There are children in the complex however they are never too loud. A pool, and open space. Good location, right near the highway as well as the center of historic Windsor. The only problem is that management is slow to respond to service requests. Overall, a great place to live though.
