the price for the neighborhood is pretty decent. ive seen alot of changes with the residents. Used to be really quiet and clean but it seems like the people who live there don't respect the community as much any more.. i see trash alot, i know clean daily but they always leave more, someone also knocked over they keypad with a moving truck. i know they cant discriminate, just wish there was a better way to pick people who would take care of the community.

The maintenance crew always responds in a timely manner, and the property grounds are always well kept. This is a nice place to live. I have been here for multiple years (with my dog) and have been satisfied. They are making upgrades to the property (interior and exterior). They respond to all maintenance request in a timely manner. The staff (leasing and maintenance) are all very friendly, experienced and eager to help for the betterment of the community and residence experience. The staff will try to bring local gourmet food trucks to the community (i.e. Cousins Maine Lobster). The rates are competitive to the area and quality. There is a small “bark park” that is good if you have a small dog; there is not enough room for a big dog to run (there is a dog wash station, which is nice). Some cons are, residents not picking up after their pets, residents not putting their trash inside the dumpsters, and parking.
I love the neighborhood and prices are competitive for the area. I love that the property is smaller and that minimizes traffic throughout the property. Very pet friendly. I enjoy the view of the pool from building 11 and feel very safe with the over night security that stops by every hour. The staff is always helpful and friendly, as well as the other residents. The property is also quiet which is always nice.
When I was relocated to Houston last year I had gone to several other apartment properties around the city but as soon as I found WestEnd, I did not bother to go anywhere else. Building 11 has been a great place to call home, it's a small and quiet community that offers lots of events for its residents. The ladies in the front office are wonderful, maintenance is prompt and thorough, and the property is always clean. The apartment are very spacious and safe.
Small, Nice, and Friendly
I have been living at West End, building 14, for going on 3 years. I love that the apartment complex is small, not crowded, and in a great neighborhood. The office staff and maintenance are very friendly. They are also willing to help you with anything you need or have concerns about in your apartment. The apartment units are nice, spacious, and updated. I love my apartment and can't see myself leaving unless I move into a home.
If you're looking to move into the energy corridor, consider Westend. The area itself is pricey so dont overpay unnecessary. The staff makes an effort to ensure it is a pleasant place to live. Both Maria and Sharifa are actively engaged in making improvements. When staff lives on property, it gives you an indication of it's worth. After decades of living here, building 12, is home. Stop by. ??
Love the community! The office is very nice and always attends issues when needed. They go out of their way to do resident events every month, first apartment complex I've lived that with this many events. They always send out little care packages randomly. Maintanece is always super happy. Gus makes sure to complete the job with a smile! If you want friendly people who handle your living, this is the place to be!
Competitively priced and very courteous staff
The rent prices are very competitive considering the amenities and the neighborhood in which the apartment complex is. Leasing staff are also very courteous--especially, Sharifa. She is always willing to help with any issues you may have and maintenance complaints are resolved very quickly. I love the apartment and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quite, small apartment complex which is reasonably priced.
Peaceful, quiet and excellent management team!
I moved to Houston a year and a half ago, wasn't familiar with the safe areas in Houston to live. Came to West End apartments and I stopped looking, I knew this was home for me. The front office ladies are amazing, always available and go the extra mile to help. Sharifa and Maria have always been so helpful and awesome whenever I have questions or just need to pick up packages. The maintenence management is awesome as well, service calls are always taken care of right away. Friendly neighbors and peaceful environment. Best choice ever made.
