Watermills was our first rental housing when we first landed from abroad. Besides from the community itself, Watertown as an area was spectacular, full of friendly people.We will always call it home! After living 18 months in Watermills, we will be moving out soon to our new house that we bought I am thrilled to give a full 5-star rating to our new management team! Their exceptional efforts have truly transformed our living experience. From the moment they took over, there has been a noticeable improvement in every aspect of our community. Communication has been clear and timely, maintenance requests were handled swiftly, and they have fostered a welcoming and friendly environment.(you will be enjoying free hot dogs and donuts every now and then with the gatherings they do). Hats off to Denelle the Manager, her dedication to enhancing the quality of life for all residents is evident in everything she does.( you will notice her during the day taking care and even watering the beautiful flowers she put in the common area by Herself as if it is her own backyard). We would like to express our sincere gratitude personally to her for her prompt attention to and completion of the various improvements. Not forgetting Mike, Our maintenance guy! one of the sweetest and goodhearted men. He is always around smiling and saluting! We wished we stayed a little longer to enjoy the new Restaurant and Market that will be opening soon in Watermills ! Not forgetting the direct access to Charles river with the beautiful scenery! And the two minutes walk to the public pool!! Thank You for the pleasant living experience.It was Exceptional.
Overall good locality, good surrounding, easily accessible to BJs, Gas Stations, super markets. Pretty quiet locality. Has covered parking but the lots are pretty congested. Has a small size gym but no other amenities.
I love the high ceilings and all of the big windows. It really makes the apartment feel huge. We just moved in but it’s a very quiet and peaceful community which I love!
The apartment locality is amazing. The apartment has gym and covered parking options. Maintenance service is quick and reliable. Do remember to review floor plan and parking size.
Overall the management is very responsive on repairs and maintenance. However, packages kept getting stolen recently from the building and there is still no camera in the mail room. The management has been nice to pick up the package and leave in the apartment but it is hard for us to keep on track of the packages during work hours. I like the surrounding, apartment itself, the fact that it has a small gym. But the bad noise insulation, stolen packages, mice issues are the biggest problems here.
It’s a fantastic location with great views and access to a free shuttle the Charles river path and more. Apartments are nice, reasonably priced for the market and the appliances are good. Maintenance isn’t the best, and many choices about building amenities are not made with residents in mind. Building management is great, ownership is the problem. Will be improved with onsite grocery and pasta/wine bar. Johnnys is not to be missed
The walls are paper thin, I can hear my neighbors speak. Also, there’s something wrong with the ventilation as I also smell my neighbors cooking all day.
Peaceful area but do check the layout before finalising. The layouts do not match with the actual for some flats. Parking spaces are pretty congested. There is no solution for this. No option to change parking space once allotted.
The environment of my apartment is absolutely delightful. It's surrounded by lush greenery, beautiful river working path and tall trees that provide ample shade. The air is fresh and clean, making it a joy to step out for a walk or spend time in the outdoor areas. The serenity of the surroundings creates a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The scenic views from my apartment are breathtaking, adding to the overall charm of the environment. The apartment administration is incredibly responsive and efficient. The management team is always prompt in addressing any concerns or inquiries I have, whether it's regarding maintenance requests, lease renewals, or general inquiries. They are professional, courteous, and proactive in ensuring that residents' needs are met. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my apartment.
Move in experience was smooth… The complex is very clean and has beautiful communal spaces. @kevin in the leasing office was really helpful .
I was enamored with the apartment's layout as well as its exceptional amenities such as the gym and courtyard. It's undoubtedly one of the most impressive apartments available in the area.
Clean and new apartment. Maintenance is quite responsive. Management team is decent. Indoor garage parking. Close to Charles River. However, bad noise insulation.

I have consistently experienced the best residential support services from watermill Property Management. The staff are friendly and helpful.
We have had a major mouse infestation, early morning construction (as early as 6am and lasts until 5pm each day), sawdust from construction that took 10 hours to clean, and constant electricity issues. All of this in our first 6 weeks. Management was dishonest in telling us there would be no construction next door. Also, they said the gym would be finished in December and it still isn't.
I'm not sure because this is a brand new development, and in the year I have been a resident, there has been ongoing construction and I've had an issue with mice getting into my unit through openings in the HVAC closet!! It's a beautiful place, but I wonder if they could have constructed a better closet or did things too quickly.
