Yes, it's called Capitol Hill -- but it isn't the capitol and there's no capitol building. So how did this Seattle neighborhood get its name? Back around 1900, a real estate developer renamed the burgeoning community from "Broadway Hill" to "Capitol Hill" because he wanted the capitol to be moved from Olympia to Seattle. That never happened, and the quirky neighborhood kept its new quirky name. Capitol Hill is the neighborhood for those who love nightlife. As Seattle's premier place to party, Capitol Hill is home to coffee houses, taverns, bars, nightclubs, and theaters.
Home to artists and musicians, Capitol Hill features a variety of festivals and events throughout the year, and it is home to the Capitol Hill Arts District. College students also find their way to the Hill, which is home to Seattle Central College and is just south of the University of Washington.

Living here has been a positive experience overall. The apartments are spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with modern finishes that make the space feel fresh and updated. The community itself is quiet and feels secure, which is very important to me. I’ve also been impressed with the maintenance team—they respond quickly and take care of things the right way. The leasing office staff is friendly and easy to work with, always willing to help out whenever needed. On top of that, the location is ideal with easy access to major roads, grocery stores, and local restaurants. It’s a comfortable place to call home and I’d definitely recommend it to others.
The staff at this community has been very professional and welcoming from the start. The leasing process was smooth, and all of my questions were answered clearly. The property is well maintained, and I’ve noticed the common areas are kept clean on a regular basis. I appreciate how responsive management is whenever I’ve had a maintenance request—it’s usually handled quickly without any hassle. The location is convenient, with shopping and dining nearby, and parking has never been a problem. Overall, this place feels safe, comfortable, and well-managed, which makes it a great option for anyone looking for a reliable apartment community.
I lived in one of their apartments and was truly sad to leave. The location is amazing, and their office is right around the corner. Management was one of the best experiences I've ever had timely, maintenance was always fixed and they were extremely easy to get in contact with. They are also very personable and get to know who is living with in their units.

This place is absolutely a gem! Everyone in the office is so helpful and nice and maintenance always comes within 24 hours. The whole team is amazing and makes living there a breeze. The grounds are beautiful and always maintained. They have an abundance of amenities and activities available throughout the month every month which are always a blast!

This was a perfect place to live, particularly because it was located directly across from my law school. Many good restaurants are located nearby, and many of them give a facilities to residents. The staff is friendly, and I really enjoy having a gym in the residence. It's extremely convenient. It is worth checking out!

People here are so friendly. The apartment is beautiful! I love the staff. Best gym ever! It's not super busy, the pool is gorgeous! I love the events they put on, great place to live!! Lots of pups happy place to live!
Such a great apartment. Because it's new, all the amenities are new and clean, but you can tell that the staff takes well care of the complex. There is security that patrols the complex throughout the night so you know it's safe. If you have any questions, they also have a maintenance that is quick to respond. Highly recommend Vitality on Howell.
I have been living here for over a year and I am extremely upset at the fact that packages have been getting stolen for months and nothing has really been done about it. Clearly tenants here are stealing packages and it makes the overall environment feel very unsafe.
