Tustin

A medium-sized town in Orange County east of Long Beach, Tustin has a vibrant local economy with a wide mix of white- and blue-collar jobs. Despite its proximity to larger cities, Tustin attracts many younger people who prefer smaller-town life and a short commute, so most residents work locally. Generally an upper-middle class community, Tustin holds all the amenities needed for a comfortable family life.

With a large mix of ethnicities and cultures, Tustin nonetheless fosters strong community ties and residents feel a strong affinity to civic duty. Known as the "City of Trees," Tustin has beautiful landscapes and a number of trees that have been growing in the area for years, including three massive sycamores that are hundreds of years old. Few of the original orchards in the area remain after Tustin's urbanization, yet residents stay dedicated to replacing and maintaining as many trees along the streets as possible.
