The Adams Morgan neighborhood in Washington, D.C. is a diverse community that has a reputation for having the liveliest nightlife in Washington. I moved into this apartment building a couple of months ago, and I absolutely love it here! From day one, the office staff has been incredibly helpful and welcoming, always going above and beyond to make sure my experience is a positive one. The community events are a highlight – they're a great way to meet neighbors and have some fun. I'm especially looking forward to the pool opening soon. So far, I haven't had any issues, and everything has been running smoothly. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great apartment community!

I have been quite spoiled as far as housing is concerned, yet the Silva team members, the building itself (architecture, quality of construction, attention to detail, amenities, etc.), my wonderful neighbors in the Silva, and the neighborhood have far exceeded my initial expectations. Just wonderful to be able to call this my new home! After more than two years at home in the Silva now, I am happy to report that I’m still just as happy as when I first moved in. It feels like every new team member only adds positive aspects to the culture in the community. The facilities have not degraded one bit (thank you, Mike & Team). I cannot imagine anymore to ever live anywhere else. Fun fact: I know many of the commenters now personally, and can attest to the authenticity of our comments here.

Great experience so far. The Silva Team is super responsive and helpful. The apartment complex has great amenities and the apartments are laid out nicely and you can't beat the floor to ceiling windows. Great location in Adams Morgan too and just across the street from Columbia Heights.

There is not a better place to live in DC than at The Silva. I can say that with confidence because I myself have lived here for 3yrs and I do not plan on moving to any other place in the city. Compared to other apts, The Silva has a spectacularly mature and respectful community. When you come to visit you will get the pleasure of a warm welcome. The staff here genuinely wants to take good care of you. It's helpful that the Service Manager is pet friendly. This place is gorgeous! From one side of the rooftop you can see the airplanes taking off and landing all the way at DCA in VA, the Washington monument, and the US Capitol building. The neighborhood of Adams Morgan is up on a hill so that is one of the reasons for the impeccable views! I could go on and on about why I love my home here. I you are looking for a place to live you have to come check out this wonderful community. Best of luck to your competing searches, as they won't stand a chance against The Silva!

Since I movee in July of 2022 it has been a blessing. Finally, having my own place after having roommates has been great living on my own. The Silva has been wonderful to me. Great place to live. Amenities are great and the apartments are very nice. Staff are terrific and make the living experience even better. The location is hard to beat right between Adams Morgan and Columbia Heights.

We've lived at the Silva for over a year now and the experience has been wonderful. Everything, including the leasing staff, concierge, maintenance, and building amenities has been top notch - special shout outs to Andres, Sylvie, Alan, and Steven for being so communicative and responsive. The building is located in one of the most convenient and walkable locations in the city, with easy access to the metro and several commercial strips (Mt Pleasant, Columbia Heights, Adams Morgan) and parks (Malcolm X Park and Kalorama Park). There are even three grocery stores and a Target within 10-minutes walk. The rooftop has the best view in the city as well as an infinity pool that doesn't get too crowded. The gym also has everything we need for training, saving us a lot of money every month on gym memberships. While it's definitely expensive to live here, if you're able to manage the cost or can find a good deal, it's probably the nicest apartment building in the city.

I've lived in the Silva for almost 3 years and my family has enjoyed every minute. Beautiful facilities, like the rooftop garden and pool, fitness center, and work rooms, and friendly, welcoming staff make it feel like home. Sylvianne, Ja'marvae, Andres and Steven are the best! Cleaning and maintenance crew, Mike, Alan and others, are always prompt and attentive if we ever have a problem. And super dog-friendly. Highly recommend!

As a brand new tenant of the Silva, I have been blown away at this place. Not only are the amenities stunning with top-of-the-line appliances, but the staff is extremely friendly. The Silva is a gem - one of, if not, the best roof top pools - quiet, beautifully manicured like a forest and views of the monuments all around the area.

The Silva is excellent. The staff are kind and responsive. The apartments are luxurious and nearly brand new. And the amenities are best in the city. I previously rented a unit in the Silva, had to leave DC for a period of time, and am now a resident again. I did not even consider another apartment community when I moved back.

Beautiful place with great amenities! Staff are incredibly kind and welcoming. Close to restaurants, transportation and while in AdMo, dont hear the chaos of 18th street on weekends.

The staff at The Silva are so kind and caring. The weekday concierges are fantastic…all of them. They make coming home a joy. The weekend concierges are nice, but are missing from the front desk often. It makes it difficult when you are having anything delivered to be able to be delivered to your apartment Saturday or Sunday. Especially if you prefer to have breakfast delivered on the weekends. Having to get dressed just to go down to accept food in the AM instead of being able to indulge in a breakfast morning in your pj’s after going 360 all week is the reason for this being 4 star instead of 5.

I can't think of much to complain about with the Silva. It is undoubtedly the nicest building I have ever stayed in. The facilities are clean, the building is secure, and views are great. Most important, the staff is amazing. Front desk and management have always been kind and approachable. Maintenance and always responsive and kind. Everyone is professional. Cleaning staff and amazing as well. The people make this place what it is. I am thankful to have them.

It is difficult to overstate just how wonderful it is to live at the Silva. Not only is the building supremely comfortable, the units stunning (and quiet), the amenities top-of-the-line, and the neighborhood never short of things to do, but it is the members of the Silva team that really shine through in their going the extra mile to foster an atmosphere of genuine warmth throughout the complex. I’ve really enjoyed living at the Silva. The building, staff, and convenience is amazing. I do wish the gym had more equipment, there is a lot lacking there and I was hopeful I wouldn’t need a second gym membership for basic amenities, but I do. Other than that, the building is great and I’m excited to keep living here.

Awesome building. We love the beautiful rooftop with a gorgeous pool and awesome lounging and grilling amenities. Nice gym and coffee every morning at Meli. The concierges and leasing staff are top-notch, always so helpful, accommodating, and friendly.

We have lived at the Silva for six months so far and it has been a wonderful experience. The building itself is really well-constructed, with probably the best rooftop and courtyard in the city. The gym is also well-stocked (it even includes a bench/squat rack) and never feels overly crowded. The units themselves are also very modern, with top-line appliances and seemingly solid construction. The best part of the Silva though is the staff - everyone, from the leasing office and concierge to the cleaning staff and maintenance, is extremely friendly and helpful. Special shout-outs to Andres and Caryn from leasing/management and Alan from maintenance. The rent prices can be quite high for most units, but you're definitely paying for the location (right in the meeting point of three great neighborhoods), amenities, and general conveniences (e.g., 24-hour concierge for packages and security, the responsive maintenance, or even just complimentary morning coffee)
