The Morton is a great spot to live. t's in a very walkable area, close to bars, restaurants, shopping, and groceries stores. The building is clean and well-maintained, and the tenants are friendly. Building management and maintenance are responsive if any issues arise. Would recommend it!

You're the best! We really appreciate the positive review. Feel free to reach out if you need anything. Hope you have a wonderful day.
The Morton is an apartment complex that makes me feel at home. The sense of community with different events that they plan is nice and the feeling of a home rather than apartment building really shows.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us at The Morton. We're happy we could meet your expectations! If you ever need anything else from us, please feel free to give us a call or stop by. Have an awesome day!
If you're looking for a great unit, the morton is awesome. If you're looking for usable amenities or a communicative office this is not the place. Starting with the gym, they closed it on Jan 20th for a week to move it floors, it didn't re open until mid march. The clubhouse "renovation" has been going on since February and was supposed to open beginning of May. When inquiring in the beginning of May if it would be open by memorial day so we could use it for birthday party we were told yes, yet here we are the end of June still awaiting it's opening. Not to mention this renovation has caused limiting elevators down to 1 for residents, and constant noise and fire alarms. A fire alarm goes off almost weekly with either no correspondence, or if there is an email sent, it comes hours later which having wife who works from home and multiple animals is unacceptable. On top of this, the morton is still charging residence for monthly "common area utilities". Outside of that the gym is too hot during the day and the treadmills are literally in the sun without a shade, and the dog area is so unsanitary that we take our pets outside rather than use it. Again, the units and hallways are 10/10 clean and awesome, it's just everything else that gets 1 star.

Hello, thank you for leaving us feedback. We are disappointed to hear that your experience was not a positive one. Please reach out to us at (385) 988-5677 so we may assist you in moving forward towards a resolution.
Why I regret living here: The management was terrible at handling issues like noisy neighbors and cleaning the property --they collect the trash at your door, and it gets stinky; the pet area is always disgusting, especially on weekends. You are lucky if they answer the phone or are available at the front desk. The location is very close to restaurants, bars, and grocery stores. However, it is very unsafe at night or very early. There is construction next door, so traffic is horrible. I will never recommend Greytar. By the way, they keep your deposit for two months after finishing the lease, and if there are mistakes or additional charges, they won't justify them; you will receive a check with whatever they consider is right. To fix it, the building managers will not help you; you must call many offices in the Greystar company.

I love living here. The building is lovely with a great rooftop area and clubhouse and is diligently kept clean. It's conveniently located and has a great downtown vibe. If you don't like normal city noise, this place might not be for you. I have a dog and the building is very dog friendly. I have seen some complaints about the construction next door. I mean..............that's not the Morton's fault? Why would you complain about that? Sigh. Maintenance has always been lovely and responds quickly. I've had a great experience here and hope to be able to afford to stay here.

The Morton is one of the best locations in downtown Salt Lake City for a young working professional to call home. I Love it here!

I lived in a ton of rentals and this is hands down my favorite. The management is friendly and greet me by name every day, the mail lockers are incredibly convenient for receiving and even sending packages securely, the location is unmatched, and Ive never been anywhere where the facilities, staff and tenants are so dog friendly. My dog Cash and I have never been happier!

Hello there, thank you; we appreciate your feedback! Thanks again for the recommendation, and have an amazing day!
Terrible communication, especially for renewals. After telling me I could move to a different apartment, they gave it away without even telling me.

We live in unit 701. Directly believe the gym (why would they think that’s a good idea?) they never disclosed the excessive gym noise and shaking off the floor and walks every time someone is lifting weights or using the treadmill, etc. I can’t express in the slowed character limit just how bad it is. Management made a long list of broken promises to remedy the issue, but wouldn’t even enforce gym operating hours, so we would wake up to THUD THUD THUD at all hours of the night any time someone broke into the gym. The manager Kaitlin then blamed us for the issue saying we didn’t complain enough. If I submit an issue with the property numerous times, it’s the property managers job to address it and follow up. Expect these issues and many more. Stay far away.
The Morton has been a great apartment to live in and the services are top notch. The management is always quick to respond and works with you when you have an issue.
I have loved it here. The location is quiet and feels a little tucked away which I personally enjoy. You can walk everywhere in downtown SLC and the apartments are perfectly modern. I love my apartment.
The staff at the Morton has been nothing but helpful throughout my time here and I would highly recommend it be considered by anyone looking for apartments in the city
Beautiful new building, but it is the helpful team that makes this place better than most.
The Morton has been a fantastic experience. It's in an amazing location with so much to do. Getting the lease situated and move in was phenomenal. The building feels safe and secure and the amenities are great. Everyone is super friendly and I couldn't ask for better neighbors. The leasing/management team is also amazing. They put in a ton of work, are very kind, and make the moving process so easy compared to other rental management experiences.
The Morton is very unique! Not the typical cookie cutter apartments you find in the rest of downtown. I love the New York style loft feel. Amazing views in both the apartment and from the roof top lounge and gym. You can't beat the location! so many amazing places for food and drink within walking distance.
I went to the morton just this tuesday. I had a tour with Jardee, who i found out was the manager, and it went so well!! He was charismatic and the place seemed nice. I went through the janky application process (which jardee wasn't confident with at all and had tons of issues processing the application which took about an extra half hour). I explained to him that I was on a time crunch and he nodded his head, said ofcoursed and told me hed be ready probably on thursday and definately friday. I lined up some friends to help me friday and even took the day off from work. I call and find out jardee isnt in thursday and the application isnt ready. same exact treatment thursday. Im livid. saturday I call and find out they wont be ready until next tuesday. THIS IS A SIGN. take it as one and stay the heck away from these bums. If the managers this bad, I can only imagine. From the business
