Located in Stamford's South End district, Harbor Point is a beautiful waterfront neighborhood along Long Island Sound. In addition to Harbor Point's apartment communities, this mixed-use area features restaurants, shops, office space, a boardwalk, several parks, and a variety of marinas. South End features a large historic district, and some of Harbor Point is included. The district, which dates back t0 1868, includes nearly 450 buildings.
Harbor Point is a terrific Stamford neighborhood. It is only about a five-minute walk to the Stamford Transportation Center, one of the city's largest railroad stations. The peninsula borders I-95 along the north side, and the vast and beautiful Kosciuszko Park occupies the southern tip of Harbor Point. This seven-acre, waterfront park includes ball fields, a playground, walking trails, and picnic areas.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Key at Yale and Towne
I've lived in several apartment buildings, but The Key at Yale and Towne has to have the worst leasing and maintenance departments I've ever worked with. The leasing office is extremely hard to get a hold of. Forget calling or emailing the leasing office, you'll rarely get a call back (unless you call multiple times) and an email response from them takes days. It's funny how attentive and responsive they are when you're looking to rent or sign a lease, but that all stops when you become a tenant. Maintenance takes insanely long to fix or replace anything, doesn't matter what the job is. I had to wait weeks to get my washer fixed meanwhile the washer had mold and was ruining my clothes. My newest issue with them is the dead battery on my door lock -- maintenance "replaced" the battery twice in the last two months, yet it's somehow dead AGAIN. I assume the Community Manager will respond to this review looking to make for a "better experience". I've asked to speak to this person in the past, but was never able to get a hold of him -- seems like he's "too high up" to talk to tenants or people. DONT. LIVE. HERE.

Management at this building is HORRIBLE. They are great at getting you signed up for a lease but if you ever have issues they do not care. My dishwasher did NOT WORK for 4 Months, and they kept ordering the wrong replacement. My Toilet was not working properly for 5 Months, and I had to call the DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH in order to get managements attention on the issue. My Washing machine left oil stains on some of my clothes and needed to be replaced, and management did nothing to help with my destroyed clothes. Take your money and go somewhere else. this place may be a little cheaper than apartments near by, but it is not worth it!! On top of the issues with my apartment the elevators don't work for weeks or months at at a time and the amenities are not well kept at all.

When I say terrible I mean TERRIBLE management staff. They were quick to contact me 0.5 seconds after they realized I was interested in seeing an apartment, they took my money, and then would not respond to my questions or concerns for days. When I finally got into contact with someone they told me they were "too busy". Clearly they are "too busy" to care for their tenants. I would rather give up my application fee and security deposit then deal with them for 13 months!!!!

My husband and I made the unfortunate decision to rent an apartment in the Key. Our issues began immediately. From parking issues to lost keys to hidden fees and costs to condescending staff, to broken gym equipment (literally has the bike ever worked??) to a broken and unsafe front door for the ENTIRETY of our lease - I could go on for hours. The incompetence of the people that work here is undeniable. Do yourself a favor and stay far far away. Also, if you want to see some of the problems going on in this high end community, download the Finch Living app. A few weeks ago, water tested positive for lead. On Tuesday someone was murdered behind T’s Pizza. Oh and stay away from Brunch Box. Woof

Nice apartment/apartment house. Neighbor noise is sometimes an issue and the walls are not terribly insulated. Office staff is very nice and helpful. Not 100% the price tag $3000+/month lives up to true value though. Adjacent neighborhood makes location less appealing.

I would recommend because of where it's located and the advantage of shopping areas, train station, trolly bus service, and the courtesy of office personnel

Looked at a bunch of places in the Stamford area and nothing competed with the price, location, amnenities or the friendly gals in the leasing office! Michelle was and continues to be super helpful! Renting/moving can be a pain, but they made it easy for me!

This apartment has the best location. It is a five minute walk form the train and about a three minute walk to the Fairway Market. The only downside is that the amenities are located across the street and the sister apartment 111 Towne Street.I wish there an option of not paying for amenities that you don't use.Other than that my experience with this apartment has been nothing but positive. Quick response times for service issues and a friendly doorman, who is also inconveniently across the street.

Location I couldn't ask for a better location. It is a five minute walk to the Metro North station. The Harbor Point area is up and coming, so the two ends are great, but the middle you may want to avoid at night. There are some great restaurants, Fairway, and the boardwalk within walking distance. The free trolley connects Harbor Point to down-town, and it is an under-appreciated amenity. Design/Quality The open floor plan makes this apartment feel larger than it is and gives great flexibility for furniture layout. There is a good amount of counter and cabinet space. The counters are a light granite, which is nice, but stains easily The cabinets are particle board. They seem fairly strong, but they do scratch easily. Most of the floor is a dark wood laminate. It looks nice, but scratches easily too. Support Maintenance is great. They will arrive and fix whatever issue you have the same day. The leasing office is also very responsive. I had an issue with my garage transponder, which they fixed the same day. I did have an issue where a payment was applied to someone else's account, but that was straightened out quickly. Value Overall, it's a great value for the money, especially as the area will improve over the next few years. I would definitely make the same decision.
