Navy Yard extends along the Anacostia River, from roughly Capitol Street to Pennsylvania Avenue. It includes Nationals Park, home to the MLB's Washington Nationals, and the US Navy Museum. The neighborhood contains the Washington Navy Yard, a National Historic Landmark. Established in 1799, it is one of the country's oldest operating naval facilities. Navy Yard is a popular, exciting neighborhood with fantastic brownstones and incredible river views.
Due to its industrial past, Navy Yard contains a variety of renovated factories converted into lofts and office space. The neighborhood also offers a terrific blend of shops, restaurants, and entertainment. After choosing an apartment in Navy Yard, you'll want to visit Canal Park, a terrific park with artwork, a restaurant, gardens, interactive fountains, and a wading pool. The Anacostia Riverwalk Trail extends through the neighborhood, following the river and providing the ideal space for walking and jogging.

I've been living at the Kelvin for almost 2 years now, and I absolutely love it! The apartment itself is spacious and modern, offering many community spaces for entertaining. The pool, gym and other amenities are well-maintained, and the staff is always happy to see you. Located next to the Nat's baseball field is a nice perk too! The list continues. Overall, a great place to live, would highly recommend.

Management keeps taking amenities from the residents. No free coffee after 11am. Very little air conditioning in the back entrance and the lights get shut off within 3 minutes. Can be scary.

Awesome building, perfect location, great amenities and concierge. Wish there were more elevators but can’t have everything. Living across from the ballpark makes it a super lively and fun neighborhood.

Armani and Marwan are the best!!!!!!! Our apartment is located off Half St, so we don’t have a noise issue. Lots of great amenities and fun things to do! Safety is an issue in the neighborhood, but that’s DC.

The staff is very helpful and kind. Maintenance is pretty responsive. (Usually within 24 hrs) the building can get noisy since the walls are not thick. Beautiful building!

Building and management have been great. Building is very clean, amenities are always working and kept in good condition. Crime in the area has increased significantly. People smoke weed in alley next to building.

Very nice apartment building. I had a friend go around before moving here and check out a variety of buildings in the Navy Yard in a similar price range. He reported back that the Kelvin was the "bougiest" and he was absolutely correct. Super clean all the time, nice staff, and great amenities

Moving in here has been an absolute breeze! The staff in the building and the leasing office have been beyond helpful and generous to helping my roommate and I make this as easy as possible! The building is beautiful, clean, and the amenities are amazing! Our apartment upon arriving was pretty much spotless which took such a weight off of our shoulders!

I've been here about 2 months and it's great. Management is communicative and timely. The rooftop areas are always clean and never too crazy. They put on great community events as well.

So far the experience is great. No complaints and being able to reserve an elevator for moving in was helpful. Did not appreciate being told to wait to get our keys on move in day when we had movers waiting and the leasing office was open. But appreciated that they eventually saw us and moved quickly. Overall, good experience so far!

As a long time resident of Navy Yard, moving to the Kelvin and the customer service at the Kelvin is superb. Everything from signing my lease, move-in day, customer service from concierge and the leasing office has been efficient and excellent. I am so happy with my beautiful new apartment/home.

I had six tours lined up but the Kelvin was my second one and I applied that night and cancelled my other tours. Thesa was my guide and I was amazed at all that the complex has to offer. It has been an amazing experience and I can’t say enough about the place. Very community oriented, with lots of fitness and social-related events. Staff is incredibly helpful as well.

Great overall building. Excellent staff and management very responsive to tenant needs. Great location. Nice mix of friendly residents. Good social events for tenants on a regular basis produced by building management. Hard to beat the wide assortment of amenities particularly the rooftop pool, and gym!

Great apartment! We really enjoy the area. It's in a great location, and we're able to take our dogs on a lot of great walks. If you're looking for a place with a great view of the ballpark, this is the place for you.

Living here has been great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The maintinence team is quick to respond and fix whatever the problem is. The location is great with a lot to do around the area and even inside the building with community events.

I’ve really enjoyed living at the Kelvin, the apartments are wonderful and the staff is even better! Everything is local to the apartments and the view into the Nat stadium is incredible. Great pool as well!

The amenities, maintenance staff, and front desk team are all top notch. The Location also can’t be beat. There has been some construction noise recently but overall I wouldn’t change a thing .
