Do not consider moving in to this community if you do not want to risk having your money taken from you. Upon moving in last year, my husband and I found the community to be well-maintained and the staff to be very helpful. We resided in a one-bedroom apartment and had to reduce our vehicles to just one due to the limited parking, which was nearly nonexistent on the street. Our apartment windows overlooked a busy 4-way intersection on Los Feliz, and the constant noise from cars racing through at all hours became a major disturbance, waking us up and causing stress. The noise from motorcycles was even worse, penetrating through closed windows. There was also a nearby train station, adding to the disruptive noise with frequent horn blasts. Despite our efforts to cope with the nightly disruptions, our peace was consistently shattered. We were compelled to terminate our lease prematurely due to my health issues and my husband's new job, resulting in us having to pay nearly $3,000. When I attempted to negotiate a lower termination fee, considering our financial strain from having a newborn, we were informed that the stipulated fee was non-negotiable and our options were to pay or continue staying in the unit. It seemed clear that the community management prioritized rent collection above the well-being of its residents. My overall experience with this community has been utterly distressing. All of our $600 security deposit was withheld, despite my extensive efforts to thoroughly clean the unit all through the night. It is baffling to see that we were charged $170.00 for cleaning services, and an additional $217.75 for wall painting in the entire one-bedroom space. This is especially confounding as the living room walls already had existing stains and scratches when we moved in, which were documented during the initial inspection. During our short stay we kept the apartment very well maintained. We even attempted to conceal these damages during our occupancy.

My wife and I moved into The Griffith about 8 months ago and we have absolutely loved it! We have loved our apartment since we moved in, spending many hours cooking various cuisines in our kitchen and hanging out in our living room and on our balcony. Considering I work remotely, our unit (which includes a loft) has been an excellent place for me to set up an office and work efficiently while getting plenty of natural light throughout the day. With regards to the amenities, we've used the pool, jacuzzi, and gym countless times throughout the year. Overall, the quality of each has been great. The close location to Glendale and Atwater Village has allowed us to walk or make a quick drive to local restaurants and stores as well as attractions including Griffith Park, the LA Zoo, the Autry Museum of the American West, and The Americana. Our neighbors have been very pleasant as well. Everyone has been very respectful and considerate, especially during the early mornings/late evenings. Lastly, we love the safety, security, and cleanliness of the property. The property has always felt safe and secure. We love the intercom access and having the ability to give our delivery drivers access codes to drop off our packages. Having food delivered has been a breeze as well. On top of that, the cleanliness of the property has been exceptional. Every time I leave my apartment I always see someone cleaning the grounds and keeping the public areas tidy. My wife and I really appreciate that in an apartment community. Wrapping things up, I would like to give a huge shoutout to the team that runs the property. From Steven and Emmanuel in management, to Enrique in maintenance, and last but not least, the incredible cleaning crew, everybody has done a phenomenal job with making us feel right at home. The Griffith is a lovely apartment complex with a lot of personal touches. The staff is excellent, very friendly and responsive. The dog accommodations is a huge plus. A lot of families live here and it is generally very quiet. Street parking is ok, but try and rent a spot in the garage if possible.

We like the building even if it has some minor disadvantages. The management is kind and helpful however do not delve into the essence of the problem. The location is too close to railway and sometimes train horns can be heard. Overall 3,5 out of 5

The Griffith is a wonderful place to live. Immediately when I was interested in applying I was welcomed by both Steven and Manny. They answered all of my questions and were extremely helpful. The amenities are amazing. My apartment was so clean when I first moved in. I love how secure it is with fob entry. I feel safe and so at home in my apartment at the Griffith. Would recommend!

We had an excellent experience with the leasing staff start to finish which was a very positive reflection on living the the Griffith community. We are very pleased with the amenities as well as the cleanliness of the entire building. We are looking forward to a positive living experience as many of the current residents have described they are experiencing as well.

The Griffith has been a great living experience. The amenities are always clean, the staff is incredible and the community is very respectful of one another. Management really goes above and beyond to enhance living here by coordinating get together a for the community.

A unique complex that feels quaint with all the amenities of large heavily populated buildings. Management and maintenance standards exceed anywhere else we have ever lived. Safety is not a concern and a great mutual respect amongst the community exists and is certainly upheld by management who leads by example. We are so happy and relieved to have found the Griffith during the pandemic climate. We love our happy healthy little bubble so much!

We have lived here 2 years now and its been and amazing home for myself and my husband. It was like an oasis during the pandemic and we could not imagine living anywhere else for the moment. The amenities are better than most complexes in the area for the value that you are paying. Overall, we have loved living here and are excited to grow our family here!

Renting can be such a gamble when it comes to finding a good landlord/property management company and the Griffith has exceeded all my expectations! Wonderful location, management and maintenance. Ive had issues with other residents and management does everything they can to resolve them. Amenities are also amazing.

Everyone at the Griffith has always been extremely helpful and responded quickly and efficiently to any needs that arise. The community is great, quite and clean; I enjoy living here. Family and friends always compliment the community when they visit. Its really nice and everyone is friendly.

Moving to the Griffith was quick and easy. Their service is by far the best Ive experienced in all the different complex Ive lived in. Their amenities are spotless and their team makes sure every corner is cleaned meticulously in the midst of this pandemic. I simply love it! Dont think twice make the decision today and move-in! Everything about my experience at the Griffith has been wonderful so far. From my initial, self-guided tour to my application process to my move in everything has been flawless. The staff is among the friendliest I have worked with, and the maintenance staff is incredibly wonderful. I love that the community is gated, safe, and dog friendly, and I look forward to my time here

Beautiful building, like living in a fancy hotel! First rate and attentive leasing staff, excellent maintenance staff, beautiful common areas and amenities, great proximity to hiking and areas for exercise, lots of fantastic restaurants nearby, part of the fun and hip Atwater/Silverlake/Los Feliz area, everything you need is nearby!

We have lived at The Griffith for nine months now and we love it here. The amenities are amazing, when they are not mandated to be closed by the governor. The complex is always clean. The maintenance staff are friendly and efficient. Dayane and John in the leasing office are THE BEST! Noise level is moderate, probably not too bad considering the amount of units. Location is close to everything, grocery store, shopping and dining in Glendale, Atwater and Silverlake It is just minutes away from hiking in Griffith Park. Allows dogs. Most residents dogs are friendly and well behaved.

Just moved in less than a week ago. Dayane helped with the entire process. She was always so courteous and helpful with all the questions I had. The Griffith is beautiful and is always clean, and quiet. Neighbors are friendly, and the area is great. Theyre really pet friendly as well. Lastly, during this pandemic, theyre being very cautious and have put great protocols in place to help everyone with social distancing and staying safe.
