The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at The Clark
Proud to be a part of the Clark community—the staff and tenants are amazing. The building is new, well maintained and impeccably clean. They have great amenities and have staff living on property and accessible. The location is accessible to everything in the Gold Coast!
When I moved into The Clark two years ago it was a great building with a lot of amenities. As of 01/01/2024 we got new management, Peak Properties. We no longer have a doorman, have had issues with the common areas being cleaned, there is not heat in the common areas and our hot water went out. We have received very little communication on any of the issues. I have emailed management directly and submitted maintenance requests. I have not received any response. The city has come out and stated there are multiple violations throughout the building. I am very disappointed in the changes and am concerned about the safety and cleanliness of the building. I would not recommend moving here.
As of the new year, they got rid of door staff, packages left outside, heated turned off in common areas and no running hot water! The management is unresponsive and there has been major budget cuts! Be warned NOT TO RENT HERE!
No heat in the hallways Cold water in the showers Frozen pipes on the roof The took away the doorman This place is a joke for luxury living in the Gold Coast
Unfortunately our building was recently bought by Peak Properties, and they have since removed amenities such as the concierge. I would recommend you move elsewhere in Gold Coast since any other luxury building will provide a doorman and other services for the same price. As it stands, the communication from Peak Properties has been almost nonexistent and I am hopeful but not optimistic that it changes.
Awful time here - cut my lease short to get out! Based on my experience here - The "luxury" amenities are 2 treadmills and an elliptical in a room with no ventilation, the "dog run" is a 10x10 turf in the back with lights that go off every 3 minutes at night. Evening doorman was removed during my time, and they did not let everyone know, only a few renters realized it and word got out - not a great thing with the red line and crime happening on the corner of Clark and Division and the main reason I leased was 24/7 security. The washer/dryer take forever ("European" style, like to air dry, what a pain!). Unwaxed wood floors are a hassle to clean and terrible with salt in the Chicago winters. Unfriendly neighbors and management could be more experienced. I wouldn't be surprised if they continue to remove services (doorman, package collection etc). For what you pay, you can find better managed buildings in Old Town/Gold Coast area that are feel more secure and have more amenities/spacious layouts.
