The Charles is hands-down one of the best places I’ve lived. It has that clean, old-money aesthetic — classy without trying too hard. The design, the vibe, even the lighting… everything just feels put together. I work a lot, and the office space here is a huge win. It's quiet, well-designed, and makes it easy to stay productive without needing to leave the building. Definitely not your average apartment "business center." And the hot tub? Huge. Legitimately one of my favorite things about the place. Whether I’m unwinding after a long day or catching up with neighbors, it’s always a vibe. If you're someone who works hard and appreciates a place that reflects that energy, The Charles is it.

Moving into The Charles was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The management team, especially Madelyn, is incredibly professional and genuinely cares about residents. From the move-in process to ongoing support, she’s made everything smooth and stress-free. The building is well maintained, and the amenities add so much value. I didn't had to interact with the management much but they have been helpful in the limited dealings. I had little issue while living here other than a noisy neighbor and I had to go down to security person a few times for him to tell the neighbor to stop party after 10pm in accordance to city code. There is a $150 media package that is mandatory as well as a bunch of common area utilities, which adds to the rent (it is disclosed upfront). After I moved out, I received a surprise bill of deep cleaning and painting for normal wear and tear. I have stayed with Greystar-managed properties before but was never charged for such a fee as I always keep the unit in good condition. The renting experience had a good start but not a positive finish for me, which is unfortunate.
