What can I say! I’m like a positive broken record: The Cameron has and is the Place I Call Home with confidence! From 2009-2013 (returned to my home town) then I returned to the Cameron in 2018 and I am still here. What does that tell you? The Cameron management and staff in every capacity provide excellent service! I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a beautiful, clean, safe, and well maintained building with garage parking and concierge services.

The location is convenient. I lived here for 3 years and I love the area but the property management is poor. The lobby constantly smelled like dog urine, elevators were often broken, maintenance requests were not addressed and customer service of staff started out fine but declined. Also residents had to use Fetch a third party delivery service which was extremely inconvenient.

I moved into the Cameron December, 2022 after living in a 4-bedroom, three level house for the previous 37 years. My two-bedroom, two-bath with a den apartment is PERFECT for me as I approach my 76th birthday. It is roomy, bright with light from the floor to ceiling windows, and has all the space I need. The management and maintenance staff are readily available, respond quickly and efficiently to any question or need. The residents are friendly. Dog people, non-dog people, young people, old people, single persons and families with kids live amicably together. The location is convenient to every need - grocery stores, restaurants, movie theaters, public library, and easy driving access to the Beltway, the ICC, Interstate 95, and streets to downtown DC. The Metro is within easy walking distance. Despite being located in the heart of Silver Spring, parking is not an issue because there is building parking as well. Moving to the Cameron is the best decision I could have made when I decided to sell my house.

I moved into the Cameron in February and from day 1 I noticed cockroaches. I am allergic and have tried to work with the management team to move units, but each time they say they are going to have someone reach out to me about my options and never reach out! I am done! Excellent community, very quiet complex, back from the main drag of downtown Silver Spring so don't get as much of the 'urban' noise as with other complexes in the neighborhood. Very close to the mall, restaurants and entertainment.

We have had a great experience with The Cameron in the short time we have lived here. We were in a rush to find a home and were able to walk in to set up a tour immediately, apply and move-in in a week. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming, quick to answer our questions and assisted us in making sure we had everything we needed. The staff are amazing with our dog and she loves getting treats from them. The amenities are great and they have made us feel at home the moment we walked in.

RUN don't walk away from this place. Management is terrible and useless with any help. They are incredibly rude and condescending towards their residents. The garage door gets stuck a lot in the parking garage. The elevators are broke all the time and I have been late to work on several occasions because of it... It even dropped on me almost a floor one time. Maintenance has yet to fix a part of the stove from move in over a year ago. The icing on top of the cake is that the lobby smells horribly of dog urine.

Had an apartment on hold. By the time we got to the tour they already rented it out. They never told us. Staff is more than useless and prices change daily because they are all thralls to the AI pricing bot.

Great location, great staff, and reasonable rents for the most part. The staff here does their best with what they have to work with and has always been earnest in their dealings with us. Pet friendly and has generally good amenities.

The Cameron is the place I call home. I lived here for 3 years 9 years ago and then returned to Minneapolis for family business. When I was prepared to return, I wanted to return to the Cameron to live, so in 2018, I returned to The Cameron and I continue to calm it home. The professionalism of the staff, the exceptional maintenance team, the upkeep of the amenities, and the building (interior and exterior) are second to none. I feel safe and the location provides access to everything a downtown city should have including restaurants, theaters, shopping and entertainment. When I have guests that visit and they view the building, my apartment and the neighborhood, they feel the same way that I do.

I like living here. The building really is a nice building and the management and leasing team have really helped me when I needed it. They are also nice to get along with and you can speak with them and work things out.

Building is well maintained. My studio apartment is surprisingly roomy with two good sized walk-in closets. It's nice to get a washer & dryer, a ceiling fan and a full size range, microwave, refrigerator and even a dishwasher in a studio apartment.

The Cameron is an excellent place to transition from a house to apartment living. I do like the space and the balcony on a corner unit. The amenities are clean and in updated condition. The grounds are very pleasing when enjoying my walks. All the staff are very helpful, cordial and professional. That in itself is a plus.

The housekeeping staff does a phenomenal job. I see them working hard to keep our building clean all the time, especially in the back area where the dog park is. That area is not an easy place to keep clean but they certainly try their best. I have also been pleased every time I use the restrooms near the gym or the resident lounge. Somehow they are also able to keep the trash rooms very clean. I am impressed by their diligent work. The front desk concierge is also wonderful and they make the apartment feel like a community. They are one of the biggest reasons for why we enjoy The Cameron so much. There are some things that have been frustrating like the garage doors not opening, especially because it was stuck one morning before I went to work which was very stressful. Having it stuck so many other times has made me worry about having it stuck again before having to go to work. The recent addition of Fetch and having that as an extra monthly expense, in addition to already paying for Amazon Prime is also not ideal. With all of that being said, overall, we do love our apartment and the quietness of the community.

I can’t express enough the poor customer service received from maintenance management. Terrance is the only maintenance technician that has shown great customer service and has gone above and beyond to help residents. I needed my lights replaced that took maintenance months to replace and resolve. After finally having an electrician come to figure out the problem, I ended up buying and installing my own lights because maintenance took forever to provide the proper lights. I could not go another set of weeks living in the dark. I have started my search to live elsewhere. Living at the Cameron has become frustrating and I do not recommend living here. The name should be renamed “CameRUN” because you should run from this place. It’s too bad because the building is clean, has a nice layout, in a great location, and apartments are spacious for the downtown living. Those are the only pros of living here. Everything else needs significant improvement starting with all around customer service and communication!

The Cameron is a great place to live. Close to the downtown area, transportation and parks. The front desk staff are friendly, professional and always helpful. Additional perks like weekly food trucks, surprise breakfasts and treats add to a community spirit especially during the pandemic.

Location is great. Very convenient to Downtown Silver Spring. Building management and leasing staff lack communication and follow through. Elevators are always broken, something in the building was always needing repair. Lots of basics were missed. It feels like staff/management need a training course or 101 in customer service and how to manage a "luxury" building.
