The size and layout of our 2 Bed 2 Bath is really nice but this place just has a huge issue with homelessness. Management does not try to find ways to make this place secure. Open hallways with no control access have seen homeless men threaten the maintenance man, try open all the cars in the complex and even walk through the halls

What a great place to live, very nice grounds, beautiful landscape design and the same kind of attention to detail in the common areas and of course, where it matters most, in my apartment. I have been impressed from my first visit with the office staff and the way it feels like I am the first person to live in my apartment…I couldn’t find a single complaint about my place, from moving in to settling into my place here my only challenge is to maintain the polished look and feel I stepped into when I arrived. I’m very happy that the property is maintained and managed by the kind of people who have an obvious enjoyment of their work and sincere interest in their tenants. Great location and a very competitive price point with lots of good neighbors will be a few reasons for this to be a great home for me for some time to come.

This has to be the most disorganized non caring management I have ever experienced. They don’t answer the phones, they don’t call back if you leave a msg. They have no idea what they’re charging for rent half the time because they misplace tenant leases. Don’t get me wrong, the apartments are nice looking but very cheaply made. You can hear everything next door and all the footsteps upstairs. You’ll pretty much be overcharged for bad service and cheap walls.

Take the title seriously. I have only been here a couple of months and unfortunately I am being evicted. This is not a way of getting back it’s just my honest opinion of the time that I was here and the reason why. As far as the apartment layout is concern it is nice. However management has made my time here a living nightmare I have felt like I had been constantly harassed by the management team. The first strike was when I unknowingly sat out some boxes and not even 30 minutes later I get a rude phone call from the main Manager Stephanie stating that I needed to get the boxes and take them to a compactor that I had no idea where it was. I didn’t even know how she saw me but she said that she saw me on camera which made me feel like I was being watched here. Outside of that due to the recession I reached a declined in my small business which I solely depend on I had let them know this but I had did whatever I could to try to at least get the payments in. They would send me a vacate notices for $200-$300 of late fees not the rent late fees even though I have paid majority of the rent. Month after month I will get these notices outside of that towed my car three minutes before I registered it and claimed that I was supposed to registered at the gate. I was given $100 noise violation without any warnings or anything. Finally August was the slowest month and I had struggled to pay my rent which it was the first month that I didn’t pay on time the full amount unfortunately they did not want to work with me and wanted to evict me and then gloated saying that the judgment will go on my record and that they wanted the judgment on the record. The industry that I’m in I don’t have a problem with even getting apartments even if they do put an eviction on my record but the problem that I have is the fact that you have greedy corporations and landlords Who know that there is a high demand in apartments and they take advantage of tenants by not cooperating with them in hard times. This was the first time ever that I had a landlord not willing to cooperate with me the knowing that the recession has been affecting everybody. Outside of that the gates are always broke and locked you cannot even get out of the building parking is terrible. They secretly monitor you watching your every move so that they can get ready and write up a violation if need be. They cost me $800 for a stupid tow.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I moved into this complex a year and half ago. Unfortunately, it was purchased by Madeira & under this new management the complex has taken a quick turn for the worst. They have a tow truck come through the complex almost every night & tow both their residents & their resident’s guests. I pay $60 a month for a covered parking spot & my car was towed in the middle of the night - this cost me $250, which the apartments have refused to reimburse me for, despite the fact that I pay for the spot. Hallways reek of weed & garbage. Packages are dumped in an locked room & stolen on a regular basis. Security is a joke. Cars race down the street, blaring music - multiple car break-ins. Broken equipment in the gym. Trash cans overflow. Maintenance is a joke. Staff & management are unprofessional & rude. The premises are regularly covered in litter & dog poop. I would strongly recommend to anyone considering to live here to reconsider. The apartment management treats their residents like crap.

This place only deserves one star. My vehicle was towed on multiple occasions because of “unauthorized parking, despite being a resident and having my vehicle registered. I have experienced this firsthand on multiple accounts. However, the height of this atrocity transpired when they chose to tow my car once again for no valid reason, creating an immense amount of stress, unexcused absences from work, and while inconveniencing others. The time, energy, and additional expenses to me are beyond reasonable. The lack of follow-up from management, the over-aggressive towing policy, and lackluster security measures are just a few reasons I will not renew my lease. To the person reading this you have been pre warned. Should you not have a minimum of $200 dollars to spend at any given time for towing expenses don’t bother with this place,

The management really helped me through out the whole process during the pandemic, the move in was smooth and the staff is very helpful even a year after I moved in. Building 2 is the best in the complex and I love how safe and beautiful the apartment is. I would recommend getting a parking spot so that you don't have to search! It is worth it, as a lot of people do have problems with that. They keep the place clean and send us goodies on occasions!

Do not rent here unless you enjoy getting your packages stolen - an almost-daily occurrence. Medications, birthday gifts, and contact lenses are all for the taking. Do not rent here unless you like having no place to park. There is not enough spaces for tenants and there is zero street parking. You will be forced to park down the street with the crackheads and broken glass. Do not rent here if you want management to help. They will not. They do not care about current residents, they only care about getting new tenants. If I could give them zeros stars, I would. Rent elsewhere.

UPDATE: (12/30/19) My car was broken into last night for the 2nd time within the past 3 months. Nothing was visible and my car was parked literally right by my bedroom window. Being that many people had their windows burst not long ago, we make sure never to leave anything visible. However, in this circumstance they broke into the car and popped the trunk and took every single Christmas gift we had. They also took a work badge and passport out of the glovebox. What is it going to take to deter robbers inside of this property? There’s a ton of lights where my car is parked but zero cameras. We work way too hard to keep having to pay insurance deductibles every time someone breaks into our car where we call home. This is an ongoing issue that seriously needs to be addressed. This complex is very expensive and my insurance deductibles are expensive as well. Something has to give! Original review: I moved to The Briscoe about 5 months ago from a high rise. We selected this property after a long search with our apartment locator (Chelsea). Why this property over the other newly built communities in the area? The layout of these apartments are super open. If you have a dog they have REAL extended patios. Like actual backyards to let your furbabies run around. That’s if you’re on the first floor. There’s also a dog wash station that’s not enclosed (really wish it was air controlled) and it’s inside of the mini dog park at the back of the complex. There’s not much inside walking space due to a concrete jungle, but everyone normally walks their pups along the outer perimeter. If you haven’t guessed already, I’m a dog parent. One of the main reasons we moved here were the accommodations for our pups. But as far as friendliness of the neighbors, everyone normally keeps to themselves. It’s very New York City-ish. But then again, you’re right in the middle of the city. This community is very new so it’s very clean and open. The front staff are pretty amazing as well. There’s plenty of amenities but not overwhelming. Twice a week there’s free yoga classes by a certified yoga instructor. Monthly resident events (I wish they would let my wife and I amp up the monthly resident events to spice it up a bit). There’s a beautiful resident lounge that has a full kitchen, beautifully decorated decor with fast WiFi, and also another lounge at the front with a PC and iMac. Plenty of TV’s around the complex if you feel like getting out of your apartment for a while.

We have increased the number of Courtesy Officers at our community and we know have 2 available for patrol. We also encourage our residents to call 911 anytime they see suspicious activity around the community.
Office workers, maintenance, and property company will repeatedly lie and avoid minimum responsibilities at the suffering of tenants. Apartments are incredibly overpriced and unsafe for how expensive they are. I lived there for a great and it was my worst living experience ever.

Literally worst quality of maintenance workers I’ve ever seen. Unapologetic, will drop by your residence with no warning, refuse to take responsibility for issues, leave your apartment in a worse state than before. My toilet hasn’t been unusable for the majority of my lease, and I’ve filed 7 maintenance tickets to try and make any headway on this issue. They have left my apartment bathroom completely flooded and refused to clean it up. Incredibly rude
