The Banks

I have been there almost 2 years. The first year was very very happy . Recently the community has begun to not meet my expectations. Poor communication with the leasing office . Misinformation re: renewal of my lease which led to excessive fees . The community cleanliness has deteriorated greatly . The lobby bathroom, just go take a look . The windows need to be cleaned exterior in the whole building but please start with my unit . Maintenance team is excellent , timely courteous and professional . Fernando is an asset .

Love the location and my unit, especially with the balcony. Quick access to the elevator and convenient ways to open the door through the butterfly app. Also, I appreciate the salutations from our concierge.

I have lived at The Banks for five years, and have enjoyed it every day, week, month, and year of that time. The community is friendly, and the staff feel like family.

This building has great staff that really exemplify professionalism while also being friendly and personable. Any service or maintenance requests are responded to and addressed promptly overall building is very clean and pleasant.

I love living at the banks! The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming and I love how homey the building feels. The Bozzuto scent when you walk through the lobby is amazing. 10/10!

Things are going very well! Maintenance has been very responsive and staying on top of request. Front desk staff continues to be awesome as usual. Look forward to continuing my stay here at The Banks!

It's been a great experience so far! Super convenient location, clean building, and nice staff. I like that they celebrate each birthday month and put out monthly calendars with events going on in the building and locally. Its a little pricey, but all of DC is so it's going to be hard to get something this decent at a cheaper rate I suppose. I recommend!

I am loving my time at The Banks. The location is prime and I love being a block away from the Wharf. I love the fact that there are already events to go to my first week here. The staff is so accommodating and are willing to help with anything that I need. I can't recommend the building enough.

This is a lovely building with a terrific and friendly (kudos to the folks behind the concierge desk (especially CeCe, but there are no laggards). Services seem top-notch (although at my age I’m no longer a gym rat). My neighbors are friendly and neighborly. I’m especially thankful for the penthouse and the grills! And most importantly, everyone is friendly to my dog.

Staff is wonderful and helpful and my apartment is beautiful I really appreciate Scott the manger he a great person and both of the concierge people are great people too

So far it has been a pleasant experience. The staff is very nice and the building is clean. Close proximity to the Wharf and metro stations which makes it a great location for city life and activities.

Quick prompt service whenever I have a maintenance request. The concierges are always friendly and ready to assist. It’s quiet and clean place to live.

Overall love it here. Don't really have any complaints. A compliment I have is that the staff are really awesome. Everyone from don't desk to maintenance is so pleasant and kind.

The move in process was so easy and the staff is so friendly. Felt at home right away! The building is so quiet and I love my apartment so much!

I've been residing at The Banks for the past two years and have had a positive experience. Pros: Management and Maintenance: The property management team has been exceptionally responsive and accommodating. Maintenance requests are addressed promptly, and the staff is friendly and approachable. Amenities: I enjoy the gym. It isn't the fanciest gym, but it is good enough. The rooftop is excellent in the summer as well. Cleanliness: The common areas and grounds are regularly cleaned and well-maintained. I appreciate how hard the staff works to keep the building clean. Community Events: The organized community events have been a great way to meet neighbors and foster a sense of community. Cons: Parking: The parking is expensive, and there is nowhere to park on the street. Overall Impression: The Banks has provided a comfortable and welcoming home for me. The positive aspects far outweigh any minor inconveniences. Also, I love the location on the Wharf.

I love it here! I especially like that there are so many community building activities. Knowing that management is not only about money is encouraging.

I have really loved my time at the Banks. The front desk people are so kind, and take the time to learn your name too. Anytime I put in a work order, they have been quick. The cleaning crew is also really great. I like the security of the apartment too. I have never had an issue with noise from my neighbors, so that has been a plus! Overall great place to live.

This is the best apartment I have ever rented. I love living here! Would recommend this place to everyone! Looking forward to spending another year here.

Love this building, love the staff, love my apartment, love the rooftop. I do however wish the gym was upgraded and that the weights that were stolen were replaced. Also wish they addressed security concerns more promptly as the building’s back door is often broken and there aren’t any cameras in the garage and many areas of the building.

Been living here for a long time and everything has been amazing, location, staff, amenities, community, events for residents. Really happy indeed

so far it has be nothing but positive here. the staff is always helpful. the maintenance is very nice & quick to review request. quiet building with many opportunities to socialize.

Living across the street from The Wharf has been fabulous- especially since the pandemic has ended. Even my pup loves it. The building is safe and clean. Residents are friendly. The units are not large and rent is expensive but you're paying for the location and being able to take a walk on the Waterfront after a long day of work makes it worth it for me!

I toured the property and fell in love with the building but Angela one of the leasing agents sealed the deal for me! She was super kind and helpful and told me about great restaurants in the area!

Who would’ve that that the highlight of my move to The Banks would come from the maintenance crew? What words can I even use to express how amazing Kevin is? He has made my move into The Banks so seamless. He is able to make do with the resources he has to make the residents life here so much more special and is so quick to respond to a problem. Kevin goes the extra mile to a level I have never seen, truly an exceptional and hardworking man. Love The Banks!

The banks is modern, aesthetically pleasing, safe, and clean, but so are other apartments in this area right? I chose to stay at the banks because I trust the management. When I have an issue they take it seriously and handle it, regardless of the complexity, and it's because they respect the tenants who live here. All of them - Keith, Mariah, Grace, Nichelle, Willie, Anthony , and Cici - I trust them all, which is a priceless commodity in apartment living these days.

Position: The apartment is between two metro, so you need to walk 10 more minutes to get metro. Service: Service is kind terrible, you will used to receive you package late. And sometime the front desk don't want to help you to check it. Others: Gym is so small, coffee only service in the morning. Rent: After all, this apartment is really new. But think about above position, service and gym, it's really should not so expensive.
