I have been living here for 6 years this apartments had changed administration twice during this time…. So I have to say that the actual administration has been the BEST ! They paint all locations with a beautiful color , they have been renewed apartments upgraded with new appliances, etc .. they changed the whole illumination system what is brighter now All maintenance requirements are being responded The Manager is very polite and very professional and her assistant too! The price is not cheap but to be realistic nowhere is !! What can i say is be pending on offer or promotions but anyways its worth it What I like the most is that the scholar bus pick the kids in the apartments and for high school it’s by the exit of the apartments what is sooooo cool Thanks and I hope you decide to be our neighbor !!

Nice neighborhood but too many issues with maintenance in the apartment. Building seems to have electric problems. Usually have problems with water as well. Building complex constantly turns off water. Your mail you only have access to get it while office hours

Staff, is very nice! Maintenance men come when you called them. Neighbors are pleasant. The complex is old, but clean and updated. Really close to shopping centers, near the grocery stores a plus. No people hanging out after hours a plus for me. I think I’m going to like the area.

Dispite the fact that it takes a while for the maint. to get to you The office staff is awesome I have never lived in an apartment complex where the management actually cares about their tenants like they do here at Ashton.

Is ok place to live in. My neighbors are very noisy other than that is a good place to live in. Maintenance works pretty fast when you need them.

Staff is always so nice and considerate. Maintenance never takes too long to check whatever we need out. No noice complaints besides the trailers or garbage trucks passing behind store but overall great apartments!

The worst place I had ever lived so far. The site is so noisy by the tenant and all the work around the complex. I know the work must be done, but you can notify us if it is in our building. Tenants are playing loud music from their cars or apartment. This happens every single day. I am still dealing with roaches. They towed my car with the ticker in it because it was not placed properly but was visible to them. The worst of all is the staff. Please please do some research before you sign the lease at this place.

I hate this apartment. When I applied to the apartment I was told I would be able to get the larger 1 bedroom that has full size washer / dryer hookups, after completing the entire process I was then told 'oops we made a mistake' and gave that apartment to someone else and offered the smaller apartment with stackable washer/dryer instead since they already had my money I sucked it up and took what was offered. BIG MISTAKE. I have now been here for 3 months , all of my things have been stacked up on tables, or a shelving unit that I had to buy as the ROACHES are such a problem. They have been doing weekly pest control spraying, however I have seen only the slightest of improvement, and can't even be sure if that is their doing as I also purchased OrthoHome max to spray down whatever area I happen to see an insect in, as there are several crevices and holes in all of the cabinetry. They have terrible plumbing, when showering the water is inconsistent and just alternates between hot and cold at will. I had a problem with all sinks in the apartment leaking and had to complain 4 times before they finally replaced the faulty pipes. I also had a problem with water dripping from the ceiling above my tub. The dishwasher is an ancient piece of junk with rusted over spots and the 2 times I tried to use it made my dishes smell mildewy and left a weird film on them. (I also ran a wash with nothing in it in attempt to clean the washer itself.) I now do all of my dishes by hand. Lastly the foundation is faulty. After spending some time really getting a good look at the place I found that they are large cracks in many of the walls which have been patched over, some better than others. DO NOT move here if you have any other options.

So yeah I still live at Northgate as I speak, At first everything was ok, but then issues started showing up, I called them because the AC is leaking so they came and fix it, but the Temps are going to 78-80 degrees, so I called them to fix it and I asked them to call me with the results. Well no call, I go home and the Apartment is soo hot I am sweating setting down, next day I call and ask Rebecca about what happened and she said that the service guy told her everything is fine, I was like why would I call you if everything is fine and why you didn't call me to tell me that. After that she sent another guy, and he changed the thermostat. He didn't even check if the solution worked or not, now my AC won't even turn off, it cools the Apartment, then when it reaches the Temps Chosen, it turns on the hot air, that is right I have an AC that turn on the hot and cold air in the sametime. I call again and I tell Jene the manager that I am paying the electric bill, instead of saying hey we will give some money back for the trouble, she offered a superviser phone number and name...as in Good Luck....
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ….. This place is faced with a huge roach Infestation problem; I have only been here for a month. I have counted and killed over 40 roaches not counting the ones that got away either! I have been taking picture and told the management office several times. They have had pest control in my place twice since my move in. I have placed down Gel bait traps myself as well. I noticed small holes in the ceiling, above door jams, behind the toilet, behind oven etc... Since I have noticed, I have watched roaches crawl out of these holes and also escape me from running into them. I have filled as many as possible, I am sure I have missed some. I am hoping this will help the situation. I wish I can say this Roach infestation was only in the kitchen, I have them throughout the entire apartment. I am sad to say even in the bedroom. I have kept a lot of my stuff boxed up. I have been taking Pictures and Videos. This would be a decent complex if they got a handle on this disgusting roach infestation. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
Honestly, this apartment is not worth the price range. Management was friendly when I first moved in. Months later I am getting no call backs on issues regarding my apt. Ceiling in bathroom leaks when A/C is on, I get charged for extermination fees but yet I have woken up with bug bites (ALL FURNITURE WAS BRAND NEW), foundation is moving too much and I've had to call more than once to have my door repaired and in which I waited for hours when someone finally decides to show up and does nothing but shift my door hinges. Parking is also horrible, people park in others assigned spots. When trying to speak to the manager she is unavailable but can tell the rep on the phone what to say over the phone. Honestly it was a major disappointment.
I'm notorious for moving out of an apartment when the smallest thing doesn't sit right with me. With that being said, I have signed my third lease here at Northgate apartments which is my longest stay with any apartment complex in the Irving area. No place is perfect but this comes close. Neigbors are friendly, all kids get along and play well, and i love the way the complex management works with the local church to do things for the kids. I've actually become a member of the church myself. It's a great place to stay in my book.
These are probably the nicest bunch of incompetent property managers you will ever meet. Always friendly always promise you they will fix things but rarely follow up.
I just moved in august they made it smooth and easy. Its so quiet and love the pool. I never have problems finding a parking space and our neighbors are friendly. I think this place is perfect for a family i give it all stars!!
My viewing the apartment that I live in very good. .I was able to live here when they had a special for $499..for the first year .I'm not from Texas. I lived in Philadelphia all my life and decided to come here. .They were pleasant and worked with me when I didn't have a job at times. I always had temporary jobs, and had to get help to pay my rent and this building was patient with me. The building manager is very understanding and polite. I'm very comfortable here.
Overall I have lived here for two years and the focus of the property management company is all about the rent increase. Over 12% each year with a 1 year renewal. 20% or higher with shorter lenght renewal. On a budget don't get hooked and then need to move a year later. Manager is very proactive, fix anything and everything you have issues with!
My Family and I has been tenants of Northgate Apartment in 2010, We have our disliked and likes about the the Apartments but still we love the surrounding.Very peaceful, neighbors are so nice and It's place is very neat and clean but mostly we like it because it's very short distance from our kids school,our works and peacefully and safe.Our rent has been raised with no discount since the last two years but because of the peaceful/safe neighborhood It's hard for us to leave, It's all about keeping our family safe in an environment, money doesn't matter.Northgate Is our Home!
I been in this apartment almost 6yrs love my neighbor and close to everything
The apartment is situated on the end of the building with a nice cortyard great for grilling.
