The quality of this building has gone down from when we initially moved in and we are not planning to renew our lease. The hallway (and sometimes our apartment) smells like marijuana often and we’ve complained multiple times without resolve. I love the convenience of this area but the price we pay for the apartment is no longer worth it to me.

The Apollo is a stunning residence and I am very pleased with the amenities as well as the 24/7 concierge access. The team here is exceptionally kind and make themselves readily available. It's easily accessible to the H Street streetcar, grocery stores are nearby, and it's an ideal location due to proximity to Union Station, Capitol Hill, Union Market, and more. They intentionally make an effort to make you feel like home here. I'm looking forward to the remainder of my time here.

Great building with amazing staff! Some issues with packages but mostly it is all figured out. Some safety concerns with the unhoused folks who tend to live on the street outside of the building. Mostly harmless but some are problematic and make it a bit scary to go out at certain times without my dog. Overall do love living here and the building is beautiful

Amenities are nice and it’s a convenient place to stay due to proximity to Whole Foods, Starbucks, local gyms and union station. Had to reduce stars due to maintenance issues, much more than where I previously stayed. Issues with water/plumbing with having water turned off for different periods is inconvenient. Windows need to be better sealed, I can hear everything on H street 6 floors up.

Good place to live, lots of great amenities, however only one guest per apartment is unfair and not what we are paying for. Please change policy to allow for at least two guests per apartment.

Much of the move-in process was very easy and the people have largely been very helpful. But it hasn't all been great. My oven and stove didn't work and it took multiple days to get that resolved. Additionally, when I arrived to move in, someone was actively cleaning my apartment and left surprised we were there, which leads me to think there's a decent chance the apartment wasn't actually cleaned. I feel a bit misled about my terrace situation. We couldn't tour my unit, but saw one that looked over the lovely greenery of the courtyard and it was intimated to me that mine would do the same. It does not; it looks over nothing attractive and it is shared between me and my neighbors, which I wasn't told about. Additionally, I was told I would get a welcome gift, and I did not, and I had to submit some of my info multiple times, which aren't big deals on their own but a pattern is starting to emerge that the management here might not be totally on it.

The Apollo is an incredible property. Warm, jazzy, coffee, green lounge. Classy and tasteful decor with excellent amenities. The staff are warm and helpful. And with its pool and green, leafy conservatory, I think it's the best rooftop in Washington, DC.

Overall love living here, and love the staff in the building! Excited that we are getting another coffee shop in the lobby soon, and excited about the new restaurants opening up on the street. I would recommend that the concierge and maintenance teams get more support, so that they are not overwhelmed/have such high turnover. Also, the garage level has major sewage issues, lots of sewage/sulfur smell.

Choosing to live at the Apollo is not just choosing an apartment or floorplan, you are choosing a healthy lifestyle. This is has been the longest I've stayed in one place as I've become smitten with the Apollo community - ranging from the staff to my neighbors across the hall, to those I know through using the dog run on the roof. Ever since I moved here, I feel so fortunate for having everything I need at walking distance - the grocery store, my dog's pet store, his vet, the book store, Union Station to get to work, and so much more. My life has become significantly more balanced and healthy because of the accessibility to community events and groups. I've felt far less isolated. I didn't think such a large apartment building could develop so much warmth and familiarity and I've really appreciated it. We'll be sticking around for awhile :) if you are on the fence, I strongly recommend it!

Incredible amenities, friendly staff, great location. Moving in was a bit chaotic but that may have been because I moved in during the weekend and not regular business hours for the staff. The parking deck is well protected, though operates through a separate entity. Overall the price of rent makes complete sense for the amount of benefits this apartment gives.

Great building, great amenities, very clean. Only con is the layouts listed online don’t always match the apartments. Make sure to tour the apartment in person or ask for a video walkthrough of it before signing a lease.

Generally the pool rules need to be enforced better to allow residents to enjoy the area without too many outsiders crowding it. If we are paying amenity fees we should be able to have a peaceful pool experience.

I've loved living at The Apollo for the last 3 years. It's a gorgeous building with excellent amenities and views of the city! My favorite thing about the building is the friendly staff. Even if I have an issue, I can find support and receive help right away. Rent is a little high for value and Bozzuto has questionable ethics, but I've loved the building so much I was willing to pay a bit more - nothing like it in the city! Convenient location.
