Property Ratings at Tenison at White Rock
Unfortunately, this apartment is shady. I've been renting for years and years and have loved seeing new parts of the DFW area, however, the hassle with this place has spoiled this experience for me. They are super cheap and will do whatever it takes to get the revenue from their respective tenants. Do not rent here. There are more professional and better options in the area than this Madera Residential property.

The staff and environment is so welcoming and clean! I moved from out of town and they were nothing but helpful, answering every question I possibly had. Moving here was an easy decision to make. I fell in love with the spacious apartment layout, easy access to numerous trails, and cozy community. Highly recommend! Shout out to Darian, Brenda, and Selena.
Although its an older property, it is nearby trails of White Rock with easy access. Its nearby any shopping, grocery, entertainment purposes you may need. Above all, so far the property seems to be quiet at night which I personally appreciate.

Thanks to Graystar‘s management that took over about a month ago tennis in at White rock has been one of the most enjoyable places to live. Their prompt maintenance issues as well as making sure all common areas are well cleaned and safe for common use has been such a blessing. Highly recommend this apartment and its location is just above and beyond.

They charge you more every moth. Watch out with the bill. When you leave the apartment they will charge you wrong. They are lazy with the communications.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. The monthly charges are what have been listed in your lease agreement - the charges are not changed on a whim. We regret to hear your dissatisfaction and would be happy to discuss this further if you feel you have been wrongfully charged.
This complex is under new management (shifted sometime in spring of 2020). The new management is not doing the complex justice. For the cost in rent, the amenities are simply not up to par. The fence on the "dog park" does not reach the ground so unless you have a bigger dog it is unusable as smaller dogs and fit under the fence and escape. Not to mention that the dog part is a puddle of mud that is not maintained in any sense of the word. The grounds are littered with dog droppings and at times litter. The gate that leads to the Santa Fe Trail was broken for the better half of 2020, making it very challenging to access the trail. I've had issues in my apartment (water pools in the fridge, dishwater collects garbage disposal water which molds, rots and smells). Management is not friendly, helpful or accommodating; they are either unable or unwilling to respond to residents' concerns. I had sent emails in June only to get a response in mid-August. The front gate for cars is broken and has been left wide open for weeks if not months which is a notable security concern. For the cost in rent, this complex is a waste of money. I would hope to see changes in management or major changes around the complex to make the escalated rent cost worth it.

Older Building, they are usually pretty quick about maintenance though. In a good neighborhood close to white rock lake and the trails. Decent pool. Staff is pretty friendly as well
I have been living here for about 4 months and its been good. Its pretty quiet, the neighbors are nice and the grounds are maintained. The office staff are really friendly and are quick to help if anything needs fixing. Its located near a beautiful park and white rock lake. My only issue is parking. There arent enough spaces for everyone and some residents like to take up to spaces. There is covered parking if you dont want to put up with it but other than that living here has been pretty quiet and good.
I love Tenison at White Rock! It's one of the best values your going to get in the city! My rent is actually under $800 for a 1 bedroom, the complex is usually super quiet and I feel safe most of the time (there's an elementary school next door...) The office staff is friendly and polite and the text to resident system is very convenient for getting quick answers to questions. The only downfall is there's not a nice gym as an amenity :-( but the rent is lower so I guess beggers can't be choosers...haha! Overalls, great spot and GREAT location you're up street from White Rock Lake and 10 min from uptown and lower Greenville.
