The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Surrey Gardens Apartments
Nice community semi-hidden in the woods while still remaining semi close to the city center. Overall management was nice and accommodating and residents were always polite. My only complaint would be the floors would sometimes creak.

Some pros and cons are, a fairly clean property in a nice location, garage space included, no pet rent. Management micromanages, high laundry fee, high lease renewal fee, lots of notifications from management via emails.

I have lived at Surrey Gardens for 2 years and just love it here. It's a smaller property with friendly residents and a great management and maintenance team. The rent is very affordable because there is no pool or party room. But, if you don't need those amenities, it is a terrific place to live. The location is fabulous and convenient to a ton of shopping and yet tucked away in nicely treed landscaping. The interior public space is clean and simple and always well kept. There are card operated laundry rooms, a small fitness center, and storage lockers. The apartments are small but have nice open floor plans. The appliances are up to date and all repairs are done timely. Each apartment comes with a parking spot in the attached garage. The only thing I wish I had was a balcony to enjoy the landscaping. I have lived at other apartment complexes, but Surrey Gardens is my favorite. Its simple, friendly, and the place I call home.
