      Neighborhood

      Yes, it's called Capitol Hill -- but it isn't the capitol and there's no capitol building. So how did this Seattle neighborhood get its name? Back around 1900, a real estate developer renamed the burgeoning community from "Broadway Hill" to "Capitol Hill" because he wanted the capitol to be moved from Olympia to Seattle. That never happened, and the quirky neighborhood kept its new quirky name. Capitol Hill is the neighborhood for those who love nightlife. As Seattle's premier place to party, Capitol Hill is home to coffee houses, taverns, bars, nightclubs, and theaters.

      Home to artists and musicians, Capitol Hill features a variety of festivals and events throughout the year, and it is home to the Capitol Hill Arts District. College students also find their way to the Hill, which is home to Seattle Central College and is just south of the University of Washington.

      A great place to call home

      Sunset Electric Apartments is a great place to call home. The property is pretty well-maintained and offers prime access to Capital Hill businesses. The apartments themselves are spacious and modern, with updated appliances and plenty of natural light. Sunset Electric Apartment's senior property manager, Betsey is always available to help residents with whatever they need, whether it's answering questions about lease agreements or coordinating maintenance requests. She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels comfortable and happy in their homes. Overall, I highly recommend Sunset Electric Apartments.

      I was looking at many other places but after touring sunset electric I knew its where I wanted to live. The apartments are clean and bright and made to make life easy. My leasing agent, Derrick was super and made viewing apartments easy and fun. Moving in was great and every step was quite easy. The espresso machine in the lobby makes my mornings so much easier and I truly enjoy living in this building.

      Living at Sunset has been a major upgrade for me. The staff is very helpful. Maintenance requests are dealt with in a timely manner. Our unit has huge floor to ceiling windows, yet it is so well insulated from sound and cold weather that we rarely turn on the space heater. The price is great for being right in the middle of CapHill.
