The Travis County community of McNeil covers a large expanse of north Austin. Much of the area belongs to the Austin White Lime Company, but the surrounding roads and residential areas in the southern part of McNeil provide a beautiful sprawling landscape for renters of all types.
There’s a selection of homes in all styles in McNeil Estates, a compact residential area that sits just off of North Mopac Expressway and West Parmer Lane. It's pretty good and peaceful living. Everything's good just that maintainance is kind of slow. HEB is nearby and if you have a car you are sorted as anything that are essential are just at max 20 mins away.

Put in an emergency maintenance issue and didnt get help or any sort of contact about it until 3 days later. The residents also like to walk in big groups and in the middle of the road and wont move when you’re trying to drive past them. My apartment seemed to be a bug magnet with tons of rollie pollies so beware of being on the first floor. Lastly I just got really unlucky with my upstairs neighbor who stomps constantly from 6am all the way till about 10 pm

Community is clean and well organized. Community has excellent amenities like Gym, Pool. Indoor games facilities are missing. If it exists for games like Volleyball / Badminton then it will be great.

I've been living in this community for nearly a year since I relocated to Austin. I'd like to express my sincere thanks to all the managers and maintainence staff, they have been super supportive all the time! Especially Elise, she really helped me a lot during my move-in, including providing very detailed floor plan information, making awesome videos for a few apartments, and providing crystal clear instructions through my whole application process. Also all my maintanence requests were completed within a few days with high quality work. I also really enjoy the monthly movie time and happy hour activities! Apartment is at good location and staff is very friendly. Only issue seems security, they should upgrade door locks and add more cameras. Maintenance services is also good!

Beautiful community, lots of pretty trees and flowers especially in the spring. Convenient commute to work and nearby H-E-B! Love walking around in the mornings with my dog and there is coffee and hot chocolate in the office.

No problems with any of the management staff. The 4 stars is mainly due to the timelines of the maintenance staff. Could be faster when it comes to non emergency work orders and the work performed could be done more thoroughly too.

The community is good. The appartment is given in a good condition. Pool is fine. They don’t have much gym equipment. Overall its a good community

Good community. During leasing application, they require loads of documents including getting a written verification from your employer . They take one month rent as additional deposit if one do not have renters insurance in past 6 months even if one has very good credit score. Apartment is old , has pests , faucets are rusted , leaky. Maintenance one has to do multiple follow ups but still not resolved.

It’s a secured community, but, may be very old. So most of the appliances give trouble very often. Team will Immediately fix the issue but we often need to depend on them. There is no automatic lock system To apartment doors like most other communities has upgraded, need to carry key where ever you go. There is no park for kids to play.

Great location, quiet and well maintained complex. My move in went very smoothly and I’ve been very happy with the property in general, the amenities provided, and the entire experience so far.

Overall decent apartment. Apartment community is very close to Apple office, H-E-B and also is in a convenient location. It’s a very nice neighborhood in stone oaks. Awesome community

We were only here for three months, but we loved it. We are thankful the staff was nice, helpful & attentive while we were there. The neighborhood was quiet and close to where my husband worked.

The apartment is very spacious, the balancing is especially large. It is great to have the washer and dryer in the unit. The gym is nice, it has two treadmills and most of the weight machine (could use leg press) and you unlock it with your phone so it’s safe and open 24 hours.

Apartments are really old and there is very little lighting allowed into home. but I love that they have ample of parking space. The maintenance team could use more people to address issues in timely manner.

Appliances are pretty old but location is fine, nice and green community to live in. Maintainance requests are handled and resolved on priority.
