The apartments are well maintained and you have access to what Central Texas has to offer. Only one step away from Cedar Park, Round Rock, Leander, and 10 minutes from Lake Travis. Herb garden was a wonderful feature. Improvements need to be made around plumbing, electrical but still recommend. Definitely peaceful.

I really enjoy living at Sonterra, but maintenance request response time has been extremely slow lately. I waited 6-7 weeks before someone reached out t me to fix a small issue with the kitchen cabinet door.

Not too expensive. Safe and quiet. A lot of stuff is broken though like the hot tubs, grill, movie theater room, etc. Overall a good place to live for a year or two.

I love living here! I lived here back in 2020 when I first moved to Austin and only moved out because I had to go to a different city! I’ve had multiple maintenance issues, some of which took multiple emails and calls to get fixed. I don’t like the valet trash that attract animals. Rent is too high
Maintenance has been hit or miss - it's good right now, but there was a time period where no maintenance requests were responded to for months. There are raccoons everywhere around my building and the trash bins are always overflowing.

Overall I’ve enjoyed being a resident here. However, over the years the communication with the staff and myself could use some improvement. On MULTIPLE occasions I’ve made very simple work order requests and they go MONTHS before I have to nag and complain to the front office until they are finally complete. My work order requests used to be completed within a week maybe two weeks from when I make the request and this hasn’t been the case for probably two years.

The maintenance team recently installed a new air conditioner for me. While it was on order, they hooked up a window unit to keep my apt. cool. They are always kind & courteous. Great work guys. Cannon was so very friendly and helpful. I had a very fast move in and it was seamless. I also have met all of my neighbors and they are wonderful. We have a group chat. They even bake for our whole floor. I did a lot of research and this is a wonderful place to live.

Easy move in, friend staff, quick maintenance. Literally no noise from any of the neighbors or traffic from the parking lot. You can be as friendly as you want or if you want to keep to yourself, the neighbors are respectful of that too.

There has been Repeated issues with amenities and property cleanliness. The Buildings lack insulation resulting in higher utility bills, Plus the Raccoon poo and cockroaches.

Rent goes up and maintenance doesn’t fix stuff. I send picture and call and nothing happens until we contact leasing complaining strongly and not settling.

So far everything is great! People here are sweet and the move in was easy. There was an issue with my unit not being ready but they switched me to a better location and upgraded unit so I’m very happy

Just had our car broken into, doors opened, stuff thrown around in the car and the ground. This was the second car broken into in a few months. Had our catalytic converter stolen last year. Gates are left wide open. But in all honesty, you wouldn't know about the blind spots on cameras or get away with stealing from cars while driving your own. So it's highly likely that it's a neighbor robbing the community. Where is the office staff? Why is a gated community wide open at all hours? Is it because they messed up the phase 2 gate and had at least two different contractors working on it only for it to open so slowly or not open unless you reposition your car? I'd say I'm frustrated, but honestly after the massive crime increase here, from stolen bikes to mail box theft to the package place robbed and now cars getting parts stolen off them and broken into... Frustrated doesn't begin to explain my feelings about living here.

16 years later and I'm still here. If that's doesnt reflect well on Sonterra I don't know what does! Very low staff turnover which is unusual for an apartment complex.
Love this community I have been here for over five years! The zen garden is beautiful and there are often community events. The people that work here are helpful

Been here a week and so far I feel comfy and safe. Getting all requests taken care of quickly, and the office staff is super friendly! I love the amenities, as they do look like the photos online. The coffee machine saved me moving week!

The community is in a great location. So far the community is quiet. I am new to the area and I have only resided here 2 days. In this community, I have been able to locate a parking space. I am adjusting to the gate to enter and leave the community but it will be a plus to restricy access. I can get to shopping and food quickly. A community map would have been useful when I arrived here for the first time. It took me over 20 minutes to locate my unit. Overall, the unit I rented is in very good condition. I need to get the bedroom ceiling fan to operate correctly. It appears the ceiling fan may have been installed improperly; therefore, the ceiling fan does not turn. In summary, this appears to be a good decision with my move from the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

I enjoy living here. The community events are a lot of fun and the neighbors are nice. The maintenance staff is improving greatly. I am glad we have the new security team as well.

The leasing staff really don’t know how to be helpful beyond basic questions. They always say “I’ll look into that for you”, then never get back to you. Their communication through email is usually either a general cut/paste, or something rude where they blame any issues you’re having on you, even if it’s not even possible, then threaten to give you lease violations in retaliation. The property manager is never anywhere to be seen. Maintenance puts emergencies and other issues off until the system deletes your work orders. The phase 2 clubhouse never has any lids or diabetic-friendly sugar alternatives for the coffee, nor does the theatre even work. The dumpsters are ALWAYS full. Valet trash knocks over your trash can half the time. 3rd floor units have to invest in extra A/C units just to make their bedrooms less than 78 in the summer and maintenance just blames it on insulation. This place is the worst. It’s not ok to run a residential business like this.
