Silver Springs

I have lived here for coming up on 2 years and if my options are homelessness or stay I choose homeless. The maintenance company refuses to actually do the job properly. I asked to have my tub that was clearly sinking in fixed management said it was going to be done by an outside source then a new manager comes in and all of a sudden the same maintenance workers that said someone else had to do ended up doing the work. When I moved in I stated the unit clearly wasn’t painted or cleaned. They had me fill out a long list of all the issues and they fixed non of them. Now we are sitting at below freezing temperatures and I asked to have my weather strip repaired because it’s not working and it’s showing on my bill and that doesn’t seem to be an emergency. The dumpsters are always overflowing which causing the complex to have an oder. When you make a complaint about neighbors nothing happens. It’s all a terrible place to live.

My family and I lived here 2020-2021 and we loved calling it our home?? We were by the leasing office in a renovated unit. Ashley and Sara were always on top of everything! They were very professional and communicative and I truly appreciated that. Maintenance is responsive. Never had any issues they couldn’t fix. Grounds are always kept beautiful and clean. Very convenient location!! Pet friendly?? The neighbors we had for the most part were friendly. The only con for me was the parking. At times it was nuisance but there is plenty of parking it’s just first come, first served basis (in the front). Other than that it was a GREAT place for us! I will definitely continue to recommend people to Silver Springs????

This is a prime example of "you get what you pay for," but in all honesty we pay too much for the conditions we have to endure. We were given a smoker's apartment, meaning that the former residents smoked. We notified the management from day 1, but they came and did a walk through and said it smelled like Mexican food, not cigarette smoke lol lbs. There is a severe roach problem, which has been the case from the beginning but has gotten progressively worse. The complex itself is very poorly kept. There are HUNDREDS of stray cats living in this complex. They sleep under cars and around the dumpster (which always has trash around it, even after it's been taken out). There are also frogs, snakes, etc. commonly found outside. There isn't really anything surrounding the complex, like restaurants or stores. There isn't really any grass surrounding the apartments, yet there are gardeners mowing invisible grass for several hours twice a week, and they mow the grass really early in the morning right outside of my window. When we moved in there was a giant hole behind my roommates door. We noted it on the apartment inspection form that we were given when we moved in, but when we asked it to be fixed the manager accused us of doing it when we moved in. The entry gate is also broken pretty often. It was broken the first 2 months we lived here. I should note that there are new managers, and they seem a lot nicer. They are also doing a lot of renovations to exterior so it looks a lot better than it did when we moved in. There's a small gym now too.

They've really done a great job here under the new ownership. The new office personal are very professional. They have really cleaned this place up. Now it's quiet and peaceful. They walk the property unlike the previous ones that worked in the office. I really love that there's no more people hanging out late night in the parking lot, and there are structured rules here to be followed.
