The neighborhood of Scott’s Addition is a historic district in Richmond, encompassed by many buildings and structures that contributed to its achievements. This community just south of Bryan Park noticeably became a part of the “Virginia Beer Boom” after the state’s blue laws were reformed. Inside this close-knit community, nine alcohol producers call Scott’s Addition home.
Because of the breweries and distilleries here – like the Veil Brewing Company and Buskey Cider – tourism soared in Scott’s Addition. In addition to many places to grab drinks, there are tons of restaurants in walking distance of one another. To commute into Richmond, residents enjoy the convenience of city bus service and Interstate 195.

Live here for approximately 6 months. Very pleased with this apartment. Apartment is very clean and well maintained. It's peaceful to live here. The apartment is located in a convenient location, very walkable area and close to transit systems( bus stops) and important locations like DMV and banks. Would definitely recommend to others.

I've been a resident here for about 3 years. Overall, it's been fairly good. Scott's View is in a pretty convient location as it's in walking distance to various resturants, close to many stores, as well as the interstate. Maintenance is fast if you need something fix as well. The only real issues I've had is the noise. It gets pretty loud on the weekends due to partying and whatnot. Also, the walls are thin, but that's a common thing with apartments.

I have been living here for a few months now and my experience has been nothing but positive. Management has been exceptional - friendly, courteous and efficient. Maintenance requests which have been minimal are handled immediately. The place is kept clean, garbage is collected from right outside the apartment each day, mail is secure and other tenants have been friendly. So far, I am very happy I chose Scott's View.
The apartment is clean and bright with large windows! The staff in the front office is dedicated to a feeling of family and are always ready to hear a concern and help with securing a remedy. The noise level is minimum and the apartments themselves are quite sound proof from neighbors. And, the people in these apartments have been engaging and welcoming as well. The gym is clean and well equipted and there is even a larger washer and dryer available to handle comforters and such that may not fit the stackable units in each apartment. I am so fortunate to have lucked out with this selection!
I’ve lived here for a little over a year and extended my lease partially while my home is being built. The staff is very friendly and resolve issues quickly. It’s been an enjoyable experience living in Scotts addition with great amenities offered onsite. Only real complaint is that often times people don’t pick up their dog poop in the surrounding area, despite there being numerous poop clean up stations around the buildings.

This apartment complex constantly has issues and management does not care for complaints or making living arrangement a better experience. A list of issues: - Mail would not be delivered by USPS for the first 3 months since management didn't properly set it up - Fire alarms consistently go off due to testing/random issues - Apartments were not cleaned after construction, dust and dirt all over closets and cabinets - Issues with internet and parking deck brought up to management - their only response was there was nothing they could do - Recently we were told that we couldn't use our water for 2 hours due to concern of flooding our apartments due to someone tying into our sewer water main and they weren't going to shut off water to the building.
Management is very unorganized and they strongly lack communication.
