The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Royal Oaks Apartments
The first year I lived here, I absolutely loved it. Since Peak Living has taken over management, the place has gone downhill fast. The common areas are dirty. Maintenance on the buildings takes forever to be completed so things just stay broken and half fixed. The people below have a domestic fight screaming, cussing and slamming doors every night. Yet the staff person that lives across the hall from them doesn't hear anything. Management does nothing about any of it. The no smoking is not enforced at all.
I have lived at Royal Oaks for over 2 years now and I really like it here. It is in a great location, close to everything, private, and very nice floorplans. My roommate and I each have our own bedroom and bathroom and we even have laundry in our apartment. I highly recommend this place! The staff is top notch too!
The old reviews listed are definitely from previous management... we've had a great experience since we moved in. The staff are super helpful, the people are nice and the maintenance team is always quick to respond to issues.
I am not one to ever write a review but after about a year of living here I have been able to get a good understanding of how things work here... Let me start by saying that the new Management that took over all of the complexes have done a great job renewing the appartments and keeping them manetained. All of the staff seem to love their job and care about the tenants' requests. The response times is the best I've ever seen. Also, the quallity of the results is what I would expect from most appartments...which is unfortunately not always the case! Lastly..I love the pool, outdoor gas grills, ?? the gym, garage parking, leasing office package holding and organization (Amazon knows to drop off there!), and of coarse the giant elevators despite how hard it is to keep them open while moving in (they don't sense that someone is there while it's closing lol) maybe just a building #7 problem? Anyways, thank you for caring and putting on a smile while you work! ????
I have to refrain from a full review until moved out. But in the meantime, know that the management lacks effort to resolve tenants bringing shopping carts back to the complexes and leaving them in the parking lots, front entrances, and hallways. So unless you want to come home to shopping carts everywhere everyday...
Worst place to rent from. I used to rent from the management company Timberland Partners over 3 years ago and was the worst decision I made. Thought I would give them another shot being that it was a different property. When I was given a tour of the place, they showed me a apartment that was gorgeous and had very nice appliances, great floors and carpet was clean, I assumed it was one that they would rent me. Little do I know it was not. Two days before I moved in the leasing office didn't even have my lease ready to sign, I had called them multiple times to even get them to answer the phone, once move in day was here they told me I was not able to move in until 12pm which is outrageous I thought. Once I got my keys went up to my apartment and found out, one it does not look like the one they showed me, and two the unit was dirty, thank god they put in new carpet before I moved it otherwise I would be living a crap hole. And better yet a bunch of this have been wrong with my unit since I moved in moved in I have now been here for 6 months( 1/2 my lease) and still nothing has been resolved. The leasing offices excuses are we are short staffed or don't have the stuff to make the repair. Now I'm dealing with the city of Eagan and the corporate office to get out of my lease and move out. My recommendation is DO NOT RENT HERE AT ALL!!
PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU LEASE HERE: Updated it is not, no granite, wall a/c unit that does not cool the apartment at all, full-size washer/dryer, crappy carpet (no cushion/padding at all), no security, no privacy, loud, dirty, dog poop everywhere. I have lived here for 2 years and besides the issues listed above the management is horrible, I tried to pick up my babys mattress during office hours at the end of the day and was turned away because they closed early (I did explain to the mgr that it was a mattress for my newborn and was rudely turned away, I assume because there were also potential renters trying to speak with her too). The walls are paper thin and this is NOT a family friendly complex, if you have a baby/toddler don't let them cry for more than 10 mins or you may be harassed or even have the police show up to your door! It also took them almost a year to fix a broken security door, they screwed multiple plywood boards to it from the OUTSIDE and told me it was secure, nevermind it never locks reliably. My advice is go ANYWHERE ELSE, this place is a total rip off.
Part 1) This review may be a bit long but it’s in your best interest to read the whole thing if you’re considering moving to Royal Oaks. First off, when we first visited the apartment to inquire and tour, we were shown a “model” 2 bedroom unit (because they don’t show occupied units) which was supposedly going to look just like what we would move into. We had to make a decision fast, so we decided to secure the apartment and planned to move in on June 1st 2017. So, we ended up signing the appropriate paperwork for a unit we had yet to view for ourselves because they still would not let us take any look while there were tenants still living in it.
I am currently living in royal apartment in building 3519, APt 211. This is great community to live. apartments are well maintained and clean. Very helpful leasing staff.
