Picking up my keys was quick and easy. The office staff is very friendly. The apartment itself was clean upon move in, but the bathtub was still pretty gross from the previous resident. That is the one complaint I have, everything else is perfect

Walked in on a whim on a Saturday at 330. Jennifer made sure I was okay with waiting as she has some tours with appointments. I took a tour and applied while I was there. Seamless process. Moved in the following Thursday. Rates are great. Amenities are perfect. Quiet complex. Jennifer has been great to work with.

I just renewed my lease with Riverhaus Apartments. Very simple and easy. I did renew because I am happy there. The office and maintenance staff are so great. Things are taken care of quickly and well.

Started looking for apartments in February of 2024 when I had to move out from SA to NB for work purposes. I looked the nearby apartments (Landings, Avenues and Berkshire) and overall, these apartments were the most pretty in comparison to the others. The pool, club area, and surroundings are really nice for the price (1087 for the 585 sq ft 1 bedroom apartment in comparison to Berkshire [which honestly is the second best] that was over 1300 - 1400 base rent). Something that people may be disappointed is that sometimes the gates malfunction (so they keep it open), the bathroom of the pool is dirty, and one of the gas grills do not work. If you can pass that, the apartment is really good. Maintenance is really fast (1-3 days they fix whatever issue you may have), Appliances (fridge, microwave, washer, dryer, stove, dishwasher) are new tech (whirlpool and LG) and gray colored metal, not the black metallic horrible looking. This makes it look 10x more luxurious. As for the 585 sqft apartment, if you are a one person looking for an apartment and you do not expect too many visits, this apartment is really good for you and for the price. One thing that may be weird is the setup of the living room as your bedroom door does not allow your couch to be against the wall. If you manage to find a couch that can be placed in the middle of the living room, you should be fine. Overall I really liked my experience living in Riverhaus, it has walk-distance restaurants, cinemas, shopping, a hospital, and even one of the biggest gas stations in Texas (Buc-cees). Even if you don't like it, as of February of 2025, the early termination fee is WAY more affordable than any other apartments that I have lived in (in comparison to San Antonio Northwest Area). In comparison to the other reviews (that the earliest one is of 2023) I would say that the apartments probably changed, and they have turned better. To conclude, demographics are mostly families, people in their mid-late 20's, early 30's from what I saw walking around.

Overall living here was decent. The pool is great and the units are fine. The gate however is frequently broken for days at a time causing issues coming in and out of the complex. But the real issue lies with the management team not being able to do their jobs well. I had multiple emails “lost” throughout my time living here which is fine things happen. But when the community manager, Molly, can not update resident info in a timely manner so residents get accused of having unauthorized pets or residents having to forward an email to her that she replied to, that’s a problem. When Molly doesn’t update resident information it makes other members of staff look bad because they rely on information from her. On top of all that, a week after moving out I get a call asking where I left our apartment keys which is concerning because I handed them directly to Jasper who is the assistant community manager. There’s some obvious changes that need to be made for things to run smoother for residents and staff members. I would be sure to keep records of everything so their disorganization doesn’t affect you too much. Be weary of living here due to management.
Very messy complex, something is always broken, they have a mice problem, and they have ridiculous hidden fees. Expect to pay $500 at move out after they keep your security deposit.
My new apartment is really nice I was looking for a safe and friendly community to make my home and I'm very pleased with this place in New Braunfels!! The location is very nice. When moving in, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I'm glad I chose this area to stay.
