Great community, great staff, bad apartments. They need to fix these apartments instead of charging full price for rushed apartments. Cabinets put in incorrectly. Screws drilled in at angles. Evidence shows as if the entire apartment was quickly done without regard for quality.
Very easy to apply and move in when I arrived. Staff has been very friendly. Attractive grounds overall.
The Floorplan layout is phenomenal! Neighbors have dogs but you do not hear them in your home. Lovely slate fireplace, stylish countertops & cabinets, and updated lighting. If there are any maintenance issues- they handle it quickly and effectively. No issues with bugs or rodents! There is a huge draft in the Windows - so prepare to make some small updates ( Blackout curtains or plastic window seal). Overall, I would recommend River Vista.
Terrible apartment. Countless issues. Seems like everything was done quickly and cheaply.
This was the easiest moving experience ever. Office and leasing staff were always available to answer any questions during the application process. After moving in, they remained available and made me feel welcome. The grounds are well maintained. Ive never had an issue finding a parking space. During this time of Covid 19 and its uncertainty, one thing is certain...this was a good move.
River Vista is staffed by some of the most agreeable and accommodating people in the area. Maintenance is prompt and efficient. I consider the home itself to be a good value for the price.
I submitted a work order @ 2pm and by the time I got home @ 5pm everything had been completed. I would definitely recommend this community to anyone who enjoys hands free stress free living. Excellent and helpful staff as well
The entire leasing office personnel as well as the maintenance crew have been amazing. Friendly, patient, knowledgeable, timely, helpful and understanding. They have all truly made this an easy transition.
The place is clean, the people are really warm. Maintainance solves issues within minutes! The apartment is spacious and gets loads of sunlight!

Place is great! 5-15 minutes away from pretty much everything your heart desires. Tons of food and shopping very close by. Has a little gym and a pool and sports courts as well. Totally worth the price!
I must say my experience so far has been great despite the minor issues. Katie was absolutely amazing!! She made me feel right at home. She very genuine and compassionate with my concerns and eager to assist. She is a true definition of excellent customer service.
So far really like River Vista, number one being the area, great location. Grounds are maintained & kept well cleaned, even the dumpsters(which at my last place that was a very big issue & eye sore for me) Also my apartment is becoming more & more cozy & like home. Only thing I could complain about is tree in front of my balcony that blocks my view of landscape & allows squirrels to travel to & fro, but they are working on a solution. And would have liked it if they would have invested in more modern day windows. And if the tiles in bathroom where not so quick to peel due to them being painted over..smh. Anyway overall those are small things compared to other bigger things that I have not encountered here. Thanks River Vista for making this my home.
The property is clean and well manicured Katie, is kind and approachable, theirs plenty of parking and quiet. I love it.
WARNING: DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!! Just tried to get ahold of the regional manager with no luck. I have been having repetitive noise issues (defective flooring above me) that has gone unresolved for three months, despite numerous official complaints. No resolution has been offered. I am a successful professional and this is beginning to affect my health and work. Do not move here or rent from @BHManagement. They clearly do not care about the quality of life their residents endure.
Overall the property area is quiet, decent people that lives in the community...but horrible management. The management group st River Vista shows no type of initiative on resolving issues with its residents. The communication is completely off, the sense of urgent to upkeep the property is extremely poor. These facts ranges from maintenance, landscaping, and even down to the exterminators due to the property is crawling of insects from outside. The renovating is acceptable only if the management group is taking care of the tenants during the process. The payment of rent each month is kind of extreme over the past 3 years with the property group that does not deliver to its residents in return. Would recommend for a starter apartment for a late teen/young adult....not for a family nor professional.
I lived in River Vista for 1 year while I was completing my final year of school. The people at the main office are very friendly and helpful. The maintenance crew are very good at fixing anything that may break, in a timely manner! I really enjoyed the 24h gym access, since my schedule was always changing. Very good apartment for the cost in an area that is easy to get to just about anything.
I was nursing our baby when we witnessed armed robbery just feet from our apartment...yup armed robbery at 11am on a Sunny Friday morning. Several of our packages have been stolen from our doorstep, there has been a squatter under the stairs to our apartment. Multiple tenants come home at late hours with lound car stereos. Every inch of our tub is peeling because they painted it incorrectly prior to leasing to us...also mysterious black "stuff" comes out of the tub faucets when you turn on the hot water. There is mold in the bathroom (they will fix things fairly quickly and their maintenance staff is very nice but it's a never ending list), master bathroom outlets can't be used because the wiring is off and it will trip the rest of the apartment, our cars have several dings from others opening their doors into them. Low quality materials overall that got a painted face lift, a few new knobs, and new carpet that I have seen them measure and cut in the parking lot on top of puddles of rain and pollen so hopefully you don't have bad allergies. We are moving out ASAP. Wouldn't recommend living here...wish we had looked elsewhere.
This was the nicest place when I was looking.I've been here now for little over a year and I love this place! The grounds are kept beautiful, everything works and is updated.when I call the main office everyone in the office is pleasent and caring.they go out of their way to make living here a great experience. I would definitely recommend river visa to everyone. Your gonna love this place!!!
Great location between the West End and VCU campus. Has a pool and a gym that is average quality. The office personnel are generally helpful but not overly concerned with customer service.
How would I review my current apartment? I would have to say that it is s very friendly here. The warmth of a fine apartment living is definitely at this location. The mangers and staff are awesome any thing that is needed they are right on it. And not only that, they genuinely care about the residence. If it wasn't for that,I would not still be here.
Needs customer service improvement, but nice and safe neighborhood for children. Not very costly for first timers, J sergeant Reynolds community local. Local businesses, food, and essential stores conviently located in area.
