Dallas is one of the largest cities in America, combining urban sophistication with an incomparable Texan personality. Dallas is an altogether unique blend of cultures, styles, and flavors, with more than one million people calling the city proper home.
Living in Dallas puts you right in the thick of it all, with endless options to customize your experience. Corporate professionals seeking to avoid long commutes may want to look for apartments in Downtown or Uptown, which are both home to major business centers as well as residential communities, affording many residents walkable access to work. Culture enthusiasts should consider apartments near the Dallas Arts District, which is home to the Nasher Sculpture Center, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Winspear Opera House, and more. Creatives may enjoy places like Old East Dallas and North Oak Cliff, where artistic pursuits abound.
Dallas offers some of the most diverse nightlife in Texas, from laid-back lounges to thumping night clubs.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Preston Creek
I love my home and it’s so comfy, I enjoy that I can walk around the block and it’s such a nice area close to everything and all and all the shops and food!!!! I have all I need
there is robbery in the light of the day last week there were 3 robberies to different apt among them mine 102 and the administration does nothing to solve the problem does not interest the security of the residents and anyone can enter the property because no they have controlled access of the residents and when one is going to inform instead of helping you inform that without wanting to live there is your problem and if you don't like it you can go to them they don't care about your safety
The Saturday just assaulted a resident and shot him and almost lost his life there are many robberies in your dep of open the cars and assault you until the day that anyone can enter without concern there is no REJA or security and administration they do not care about their residents because they do not do anything about it and their response is if you are not comfortable go as they do not live, that's why I change immediately for the safety of me and my family
Horrible management, horrible rent for what the apt offers, too many rules to live in your own home by, most patio gates are not finished (they give you the option of BUILDING A DOOR YOURSELF!!! HOW ABOUT FINISH THE DANG JOB!!!)Parking is ridiculous if you have guests visiting and since they don't have a gate, neighboring apts park in the visitor spots and nothing done. Maintenance requests take forever to be done. And if it seems like a smile issue to the maintenance people, they just won't fix it. The ventilation for the apts are done horribly, just have holes in inside walls to let it pass through. The maintenance has seen one of my toilets isn't working, told me it needs to be replaced but never fixed it! Complain about a charcoal grill on patio and claims it isn't for the outside and is hazardous yet gas grills with propain tanks are allowed? Basically they try to find any way to charge you extra. Office people are NEVER ON TIME!!! There has even been tines where I was waiting for them to open since theybwerent on time. The office manager Roxanna pulled up over 10 mins late, then sat in her car taking pictures on her phone for an extra 10mins until I got out of my car and attempted to open the office door since it should have been open for over 20mins already, knowing she was just sitting in her car taking pictures of herself. Plus she's rude, not attentive unless she found a way to charge you anything extra. I've lived in 3 different apts in these apts, the one bedroom was the best but they lost my first information so didn't even have down I lived there for a year. But the 2 2br apts I've had, has had flooring issues yet knowing this they still don't fix the problem.
If you call maintenance for an emergency with your a/c in the middle of the night, don't expect a prompt response or a satisfactory resolution to the problem. The maintenance crew has gotten extremely lazy. I've lived here for 3 years and this will be my last year.
From the outside they look nice, once you go inside things start to change, not as nice any more. You find problems in the place and will never be fix by the people in charge, As a hole I will rate this place with 2 to 3 stars and no more! I hope this helps.
These are good sized apartments with the most awesome maintenance team. The complex is more or less 5 minutes from malls, supermarkets, parks, etc. There is a playground, a gym and a pool. The office staff and neighbors are is nice and friendly. The grounds are clean and maintained. Parking can be a bit of an issue in certain areas of the complex, so make sure you look at the area especially if you are a household that would have more than one car. There we're little problems in the apartment when I moved in, but nothing that the maintenance guys did not fix right away. The best thing about these apartments is the price. I don't think I will be able to find an apartment in the area that will give me the best value for what I am paying.
I have lived at Preston Creek for almost 2 years. I do love it here. The rent is reasonable and the units are nice. It's perfect for me right now. Plan to stay another year.
I like my apartment it's central to work and there's hardly any traffic but it's in defiant need of attention. Real nice area
