Potomac Towers has great management. They’re attentive and always provide a prompt response to any questions I ask. The maintenance team is wonderful to have around and their work goes unnoticed. The amenities are everything a tenant needs in an apartment. Great location, great price and more.

Suggestion: Instead of occasional "pizza parties", celebrations with alcohol and similar, it would be better to spend money on parking lot security, video, camera surveillance. More and more often wheels got stolen, I remember, last year windows of several cars were broken. We pay for parking, and I think it is your responsibility to implement security.

They never answer my emails it takes them weeks to respond and it’s the same blurb, 8th floor smells like urine for the past 3 months, neighbor has been smoking weed and I smell it in the vents, loud music every other day.

The apartments are really spacious and updated and the move in process is really smooth. The building is old but it is definitely well taken care of and the staff is quick to answer questions or review maintenance requests.

Potomac Towers is very well maintained, clean, friendly staff and great lighting in the hallways and common areas. Great value for the apartment, including a beautiful pool and two fitness area. Location wise, it is a close walk to trails and the downtown area. Overall, just a safe place and quiet area.

I had a wonderful stay in this apartment! The space was clean, bright, and thoughtfully designed. The living area was cozy yet spacious, with comfortable furniture and plenty of natural light. The kitchen had everything I needed, making meal prep easy. The bedroom was quiet, with a great mattress that ensured a restful sleep, and the bathroom was spotless with excellent water pressure. I especially loved the balcony, which offered beautiful views and a relaxing spot to unwind. The location was fantastic—close to public transportation, shops, and restaurants in a safe and lively neighborhood. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, providing great local tips. Overall, this apartment was a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and quality. Highly recommended!

Great studio layout, good amenities, and safe location. The maintenance team is very helpful and quick to respond to work orders. Gets warm in the October and April timeframe in the apartments.

Upon move in there were no dolly’s. I had to move every single box and item i had one by one to the third floor. Providing a dolly is pretty standard in my opinion.

I have had a very good experience so far. Each maitenance request I have put in was either serviced day of or the next day. The staff is very nice and the amenities are great! They also put on social/workout events each month and are very accommodating to pets. The kitchen cabinets do have chipping paint inside, which is pretty annoying. The bathroom tile also has some sort of painting/coating on it that is a bit sharp in some places. The air conditioning vents were also not clean, which was affecting my allergies until I did a thorough scrubbing. Overall, I have had a great experience so far, but there are a few minor issues.

Overall a good place to live. Good location near Courthouse metro station and near several Arlington parks. My main complaint is the rate at which the rent has gone up (9% last year).

Incorrect rent bill charges that have not been resolved for 2 weeks. Maintenance responses have been quick. Amenities are clean and functional. A lot of community events and activities.

The price doesn’t justify the apartment, but it does the location and in unit washer and dryer. It’s got good amenities but the rent increases jump prices and will price you out in 2 years.

The location is great and the apartment is nice the one weakness is the complexities of the leasing office and process I wish it was more customer-friendly.

I love living here! The building has everything you need and the apt itself is spacious and modern. The people that work here are genuinely nice and helpful. I love how they have community events, its a very welcoming vibe. Close walk to grocery store, public transportation, custis trail, and DC. The rent is expensive but it feels worth it for all the amenities, including gym, pool, yoga room, rooftop, dog park, in-unit laundry and there is prob more perks im forgetting! I hope to live here for a long time.

The building is clean and quiet. I love the frequent community events and activities. The area is very nice and safe, and easily accessible for the metro and stores/places to eat

Incredibly great location; spacious, beautiful grounds and parking lot--PT has a lot going for it and has been a wonderful place to live. There are some nagging problems, though. 1) The pay 2 months rent to break the lease arrangement is unreasonably tenant-unfriendly and highly non-standard. It should be 1 month like everyone else, 2) The outdoor grills continue to be located right under the windows of all the apartments on the north side of the east wing, resulting in smoke stinking up our apartments whenever someone grills. That's wholly unacceptable and needs to be changed pronto, yet it keeps on not getting done.

10/10 recommend Potomac Towers. The management staff is very friendly and helpful, and the maintenance team is professional and quick to answer any maintenance requests. The apartments are cozy, soundproof, and well set up. The amenities are also great - I've especially enjoyed having the grill and patio area, pool, rooftop and the gym. I've loved meeting other people here especially at various community events. PT is very pet -friendly, too, which is great! Only downside to me is the AC system - I'd rather have a central AC system I can use year-round as I want. Thanks though to Potomac Towers for making this the best resident experience I've had out of all my apartment stays!

I love this complex and have been living here since July 2022. Amenities are great, front desk staff is awesome and helpful, and the area is lovely. I can’t say enough great things about my apartment!

Woof, woof, WOOF! If you like having your days and nights disturbed by this loud, obnoxious noise, being made over and over and over again, for hours on end, day after day, then this is the place for you. If you'd like a management who will not do anything to address this glaring dog barking problem, you'll really love it here. If you'd like having building employees angrily argue with you and exhibit downright hostility toward you when you have to repeatedly complain about the obnoxious noise, then you'll love it here even more. These people care more about these four-legged animals than they care about you, the humans who actually pay the rent and pay for their paychecks. They actually got rid of the children's playground and replaced it with not one but two dog parks, which is utterly absurd since children and more important than dogs. Potomac Towers used to be a very pleasant, quiet place to live, back when it was a no-dogs building and even when they introduced a limited number of dogs. But now, the place has literally gone to the dogs. There is something truly sick about this anti-human being, anti noise victim, pro-perpetrator attitude, and I'd suggest prospective renters take their dollars elsewhere when deciding where to live. Unless, of course, you absolutely love repeatedly being kept up, awakened, and disturbed while you work by this loud, ultra-obnoxious "woof, woof, woof..." that you'll hear over and over and over again if you live here.

I came across Potomac Towers randomly during my apartment search and I am so glad I did! The area is great and the amenities offered included everything I was looking for. The staff is helpful which is always a bonus :)

Pros: The amenities are plentiful and nice. Package delivery system, yoga studio, gym/weight room, lounge, outdoor courtyard, pool, convenience store, and dog park are all in good condition and nice to have. Cons: The self-guided tour was the worst apartment tour experience we have ever had. Upon arriving at our scheduled tour time, we had to download instructions for the tour from the app (apartment lobby's internet went out while we were there and we got no service in the lobby so this took about 10-15 minutes). The instructions provided the keycode for a lockbox with a key required to get into all the tour areas (gym, yoga studio, show unit, etc). The keycode to the lockbox did not work. We ended up walking around the building ourselves without the key, having to peer through door windows into the amenities areas. Finally, the worst part of it all was that the instructions said to go to a specific unit # and let ourselves in using the key to tour the inside of the unit. We went to the unit # listed in the instructions but could no get in since we did not have the key. However, we heard voices inside the unit so thought maybe another tour was going on and they could let us in. Upon knocking, a resident answered the door. We apologized and said that their unit # was listed as the "show unit", to which the resident understandably responded to with confusion and slight irritation. Had we been able to retrieve the key from the lockbox, would we have ended up being led to open this poor resident's door? Absolutely terrible self-guided tour experience.

When I moved in I had no hot water in the shower (had to be fixed, took an hour in the unit), a refrigerator that wouldnt cool or make ice (had to be replaced), a dishwasher that didnt have water to it (I had to put a half gallon of water in the middle of it), living room outlets that didnt work, and a bedroom heater that only blowed cold air (living room blew hot air, bedroom cold, even though fan on high), and a tub that wouldnt drain (3 visits later it finally drained but now its doing the same thing again).

I currently live at Potomac Towers and for the past several months and am having major issues with cockroaches. I have contacted management and maintenance on several occasions and have been unable to get any sort of help for the issue. I cleared my schedule on several occasions so I could let pest control into my unit only to have them continually reschedule and then come into my apartment unannounced without my permission while I was away during an unscheduled time. I was then told that there was no problem but now I am continually seeing cockroaches on a daily basis. The building is old and has several issues but I am writing this review to mainly highlight the bug issue. I am not sure how to resolve this with management and I am really just looking for a response from anyone working for this complex.

The building did a very nice renovation in 2019. I've been very pleased with the location and the proximity to important locations in Arlington and Washington, D.C. The management staff is helpful and gracious.
