Property Ratings at Point 21 Apartments
This place has some positives - good location if you like living downtown, nice neighbors, and friendly employees. Unfortunately it also has numerous issues. Elevator outages are frequent and sometimes lengthy. Out of two passenger elevators and one freight elevator, only ONE passenger has been working the past 4+ weeks. With a building of this size, it means lengthy elevator waits and limited ability to move anything bulky (good luck if you’re moving in or out). The fire alarm malfunctions. It happens during the workday, it happens at 1am. It’s not constant but it does happen. The building has a garage but the doors sometimes break. Sometimes they’re stuck open or stuck shut, sometimes the entrance one works but the exit one doesn’t. This can last for days, it can last for weeks. Building management will tell you the different reasons, they are just powerless to prevent the failures and slow to recover from them. The building requires key fobs but the actual building security is poor. The entry and exit doors break, preventing people with their key fobs from accessing. Conversely, people can and do gain access the building without key fobs. Even worse, because elevators don’t require the fobs, once someone has access they can go almost anywhere. The building isn’t managed well. You can’t look at the frequency of issues and arrive at any other conclusion. To be clear, the on-site office people are nice. But they aren’t the ones who call the shots, their corporate managers are. So far, the corporate management has been unable or unwilling to make the necessary changes. The message is that they don’t care about their residents.
I have been living here since January 2023. They have an amazing staff with an amazing system. Jocelyn basically sold me through the phone and Tanner followed up and closed the deal! The maintenance group is very hard working. I put an a maintenance request thinking it would take days and they came within the hour to fix the issue and even any other issues that came to my mind. They have 24/7 security I believe as I see them all the time. I did a lot of research before moving here and you simply won't beat the price for what you get. While living here I have got 2 noise complaints from a crazy lady which is only like one percent of the building as everyone else is amazing here. When I was told of the noise complaint Tanner handled it with extreme professionalism to let me know, which I respect. The staff always handles everyone's concerns and treats everyone with respect as anyone should. They always gave me the best service possible. I recommend living here if you want to truly experience downtown living.

Where do I begin? Here's a brief list of what you can expect: - Extremely expensive parking ($125 per spot). - While it may look nice, all of the appliances and cabinetry are very low quality and break constantly. - Speaking of breaking, the elevators, pool, hot tub, and rooftop patio amenities are constantly breaking and out of service. So, move here if you like walking up and down flights of stars and paying for amenities you can never use. - The apartment proclaims the underground parking is secure, but the homeless population around the apartment (which is quite large) or drunk people wandering from Larimer St can quite easily get into the apartment. - Because anyone and everyone can get into the apartment complex easily, car break-ins and robberies are quite common (my laptop was stolen out of my car, my wife's purse with all of her cards was stolen, and I've witnessed multiple broken car windows). - Robbery isn't the only crime you can expect, within the past six months of living here (2022 - 2023), there have been four shootings blocks from our apartment. In fact, one person was shot and killed right in front of the apartment building. - To make matters worse, the apartment staff are not very helpful and have a very high turnover. We've sent multiple emails and left multiple voicemails that have never been answered. - If you accidentally get locked out of your apartment, good luck! Because Point 21 uses electronic locks and FOB keys and there's no locksmith in Denver that works with electronic locks. Nor does Point 21 staff have a master key...So, just don't get locked out! - Finally, while the Point 21 groundskeeping staff do a decent job of making the apartment complex appear upscale and clean, in reality, that's not the case. Because of the previously mentioned homeless population, there's trash and excrement all over the surrounding sidewalk of the complex. The dumpsters behind the building are constantly being torn through with trash being thrown everywhere (we even saw a dumpster fire once). The stairwells are absolutely disgusting and smelly. And, the alleyway entrances to the stairwells are a popular place for the homeless to use the bathroom (we once had to beg the staff to clean up human excrement from the stairwell entrance).

The hot tub will be repaired by the last week of March. But at this time, all amenities are available, and we strive to keep everything in working order and respond appropriately if and when something needs attention or repairs. Additionally, we have full-time patrol in the evenings to ensure the building is secure. Residents can dispatch them if residents notice someone entering the building or if door access is left open. We hired a grounds company, in addition, to ensure the stairwell doors and exterior perimeter is continually kept clean. We look forward to connecting with you and improving your stay. We’ve lived in the building for three years and haven’t had an issue until the new management. Like the other reviews EVERYTHING is broken. That’s not the worst part though. The building has been absolutely infiltrated by homeless people. There is no 24 hour security and when we called the hotline to report a homeless man inhabiting the garage we were told they couldn’t do anything since it was outside of the contract hours so we got an extra resident for at least a nigbt. It is a major safety concern, our cars have been broken into multiple times. There have been multiple other homeless people in the building and trying to break into apartments. The cherry on top is they raised rent 15% with all this nonsense going on. please do not move here, save yourself a headache.

Used to be a great place to live. New management took over in 2022 and the whole building has fallen apart. If you love no amenities, broken elevators, management not taking responsibility for anything and the homeless people taking over the property and using it as a bathroom/drug use spot then this is your spot. Don't be fooled by the photos and the updated painting and hallways. They could've used the $ to fix the 3 month broken pool, elevators, secured locked doors, security cameras, useable garage doors to park your car, etc. Property is aware and still nothing is being done. Spend your hard earned money at a place that fulfills your lease contract. Nothing is there fault here.

the apartments are nice and get lots of light but the property is dirty, including the pool. it is not in a very safe area. the management team is not very helpful with responding to questions.

Point21 has been the best apartment community I have ever lived at! The office staff is quick to respond and always friendly and willing to help! I moved in at Point21 in December! I have had the best experience with my move, the office staff made it so easy and exciting! The community itself is beautiful and is kept well! The maintenance team are very quick and responsive and get your requests done the same day that they are made! The apartments are also beautiful and are up-to-date with finishes and color schemes! Overall we like living here. The location is convenient, though should be noted close to a fire station. Our apartment is a good size and bang for our buck. Management and maintenance are friendly.

Truly love the layout of my unit especially with the windows and kitchen space. The accommodations provided are so convenient and helpful such as trash taken from right outside my door daily and providing guest parking pass.

Living here at Point 21 you are able to be in the center of it all. Entertainment, sports, bars, restaurants and many other fantastic venues. The staff here is exceptional and very much cares for the wellbeing of their residents. There is plenty to do inside the building between taking a dip in the pool or lounging at the roof top lounge. appears cheaper than other options but that is cancelled out but multiple hidden fees, because of this it is not actually much cheaper than its competition but you can still tell that they are still being cheap with finishes and amenities

I truly can't express how much value you receive for the price at Point 21. The rooftop terrace is my favorite place aside from the hot tub. Maintenance is always quick to reply and the office staff are fantastic. Not only is it a fun building to live in, but quiet as well when you need it to be. I'm grateful that I picked Point 21 - definitely renewing my lease.
I moved into Point 21 just under a year ago, and I have loved every minute of living here. The Property Managers are amazing, helpful, and very attentive. The Maintenance guys are respectful of all property, and I have come to be friends with all staff that work here. The price is extremely reasonable for the location, which is right in the heart of sports games, bars, and fine-dining. I have made friends in other complexes, and Point 21 is by far the best option. The units look exactly like the photos: modern, upgraded, and spatial. If you are looking for a place that has kind staff, is centrally located, has tons of amenities, and is just beautiful inside-Point 21 is for you.

Point 21 has been an amazing place to live! The staff has always been very helpful and friendly. Any service that we needed help with over the length of living here, they have been there within the day to fix or help with. Whether that was a light bulb change or accidentally getting my laundry locked in the washer. The people who live within the building are all so friendly. The staff creates different events for all of the building to go to such as ice cream socials and rooftop parties. The pool, lounge, rooftop, gym, and hot tub are always maintained. They have security watching the building whenever there are concerns or even just at random times. It is right by all the bars on Larimer and very close to Coors Field! Highly recommend!!!

Management can make for a good or bad experience, I think it is one of the most important factors when deciding where to lease. From the moment I arrived at Point21 I was greeted with a warm smile & nice conversation from Amanda. She was there to help ME however she could, and she let that be known. She showed me multiple units in my price range and adjusted move-in dates for the best price possible. I have never been treated so well by apartment staff before, which is why I chose to sign my lease that same day. I dont regret it one bit, and the move-in process alone proved to me that I chose the right place to live.

The apartment offers amazing amenities and a spacious and modern layout with great appliances. The location of the apartment is great with a lot of options for popular bars, restaurants, and coors stadium. The roof top lounge has a spectacular view of the city and stadium. The front desk always offers great customer service and are always friendly.

I knew that Point 21 was the place for me the moment i stepped foot into the leasing office. I did not make an appointment with a leasing agent which was not an issue. The agent graciously welcomed me and took me on a tour immediately. Everything from the lease to move in was super simple and well organized.

The units in this building are simply gorgeous. White countertops and beautiful wood floors that are durable. The rooftop view gives you the perfect spot to watch the sunset over Coors Field, while taking in the breath-taking mountain range too. It is almost ridiculous the amount of places you can walk to. Every way you look there's a barrage of things to eat, drink and see! The staff is always helpful and willing to go the distance for your needs. They are always having resident events will all kinds of giveaways. The pool is a nice spot to hang on the weekends and the other residents are usually very friendly. There have been some issues with construction but it's a new building and is to be expected. All in all, I say this is a great place to call home.

Point 21 has been great so far. Moved in 4 months ago, and have loved it. Yeah, there have been some kinks to work out, just like with every brand new apartment building, but the staff is wonderful and they do their best to make us all feel welcome. Community events happen regularly, which are fun, and the staff has arranged for residents to have trivia nights at one of the local bars one night a week. The location doesn't get any better, and for what other apartments are going for downtown, rent is quite reasonable. The street noise on the west side of the building can get a little loud, but that's what you expect when you're in the middle of the Ballpark District. As long as they continue to work out the kinks, and things keep improving, I would recommend this community to anyone looking to live in the area!

This 6 level, 288 unit building is cleverly located in the ballpark neighborhood. With a 2 minute walk to Coors Field, 15 minute bike ride to Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium, Elitch Gardens Amusement Park, or the Pepsi Center, Point 21 is a sports enthusiasts dream. There are numerous parks with bicycle and running trails within a short walk as well as shopping, dining and nightlife entertainment. The Point 21 building itself meets the demands of those with an active lifestyle who need the opportunity to relax at the end of an active day with a second floor lap pool surrounded by a tanning deck. In addition to taking a dip, you could unwind with some friends and a friendly game of pool in the social lounge, directly across the hall from the work out / training facility equipped with free weights, circuit training and treadmills. If you just want to sit and relax in an over-sized chair or couch with friends and loved one's, enjoy just that on the large roof deck featuring tons of seating, large flat panel television and a stainless steel grill. When living at Point 21 you will never be without options for things to do and explore. The one thing you will wish for is that you had more than 24 hours available a day.
