Despite a similar name, St. Paul’s Lowertown is different from downtown in both location and character. While most residents know Downtown St. Paul as the entertainment hub of the city, Lowertown — its neighbor to the east — is developing a unique identity all its own.

I signed for another year! With working downtown and living downtown, it's easy to walk to work through the skyways. Also, the Pioneer Endicott is so full of history and just being inside the building you can see the architecture of the open lobby up to the very top floor, something you don't see everyday. The elevators still have the old mechanical devices in them, even though they are updated to today's standards. The "M" museum next door just expanded and is a part of the 4th Street lobby through glass. I can say enough for the staff. They are always super helpful and if they don't know the answer right away, they will find out and call you. They know just about every tenant by name (they probably know all the tenants by name) and their pets. They really make you feel at home. The building is very safe, no one can come up on a floor without having a FOB and the tenants are super careful of letting just anyone on with them. Come check this place out - you will not be disappointed!

Two years now, and we’re just so pleased to live at the Pioneer Endicott. The management is superb. All maintenance requests are handled more than promptly. The resident population is the most inclusive I’ve ever experienced. People moving out are sorry to go. The amenities - rooftop deck, perfect access to skyways, the safest bike room in downtown, with immediate connection to dedicated bike trails - all of this adds up to an ideal place to live. And because the Pioneer Endicott is located in a public transport hub - buses, Amtrak, light rail, etcetera, we don’t need to own cars.

Nice security staff on site. Management stays on top of inattentive security staff when that might happen. Feel safe in the building. Clean building. Moving into the Pioneer Endicott building was the best decision I made when returning to Minnesota. The apartment is spacious and filled with light. My concern about the higher floor was having to wait for an elevator but that is definitely not the case. 1 minute is the longest I have had to wait. The people living in the community are great and make me feel comfortable always.
Great place to live, and the staff are responsive and helpful. I’m a particular fan of the rooftop lounge, the proximity to public transportation, and the price.

This is by far the best and most comfortable apartment complex I have lived in. I used to avoid older builds for fear of maintenance issues but this beauty is so well maintained. Everyone I've met clearly loves living here and is very friendly. Even though we are open to the skyway, I have never felt safer in a building. It's quiet, convientent, and I love bringing guests over to see this architectural gem. I haven't felt unsafe once. Staff are the best in the business.
Just moved in today - Terry has been wonderful to work with and I’m excited to call this place my home! There is so much to do around the area too!
We love the community and are very glad to be back after being gone for 2 years! Our apartment feels like home and the building of course is absolutely gorgeous.

Wonderful place to live as it has been since moving in the fall of 2020. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to the green roof reopening this summer with the completion of the neighboring tenant’s (the art museum) improvements!

The staff have been very warm and inviting so far! The building is beautiful and seems to be very well managed. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for an authentic downtown St. Paul experience
I love living here! The noise level is fabulous, our community neighbors are awesome, the staff is commendable, and the building is beautiful. I only wish that there were a few more amenities for us tenants to choose from. I would love it if there was a hot tub on the rooftop or a sauna near the gym area. Those items would personally elevate my experience here.
Really nice, great location and overall a well taken care of place! A bit dusty but easy to fix otherwise everything is clean, no mold nor water damage. Parking lot is convenient but even if I didn’t have a car is there multiple other options for transportation.
I love living at the Pioneer Endicott! The location is perfect, and there are great amenities - rooftop, community room, gym, coffee shop, and brewery in the building. Walking distance to Xcel, Palace Theater, Science Museum, CHS Field, Union Depot, and many bars and restaurants. Maintenance is quick to resolve any issues, the building is safe, and other residents are friendly. There is nowhere else I’d rather live in Lowertown!
I think the best part of the entire property is the residents. They are patient, kind, courteous and genuinely fun to live with. They are usually smiling and always helpful. They are my favorite part of the property.
We recently moved from one unit to another unit. Everyone made the transition quick and easy! Great team, we couldn’t have asked for a better one!
I don’t think there is much of a community vibe. Everything feels a bit disconnected but tis’ life. While I do not think that is a requirement for an apartment, I would hope to develop and find a community in such a communal living environment.

I am very impressed with the maintenance and the staff. They are helpful and professional. It is a great place all around!! I would definitely recommend the community!
Staff are customer focused. I really am impressed with each staff member. Moved in Sept 28, 2022. I have had questions and concerns. They addressed each of them. They didn’t make me fill out paper work. Or go to an app to fill out a work order. I looked here first in my apartment search. I didn’t want to spend as much on rent and instead I scoured the entire metro area. Anything that met my needs came with a shady landlord situation that I knew better than to pursue further. I returned to the PE and said this place is it. They worked with me and answered a million questions to help me select the correct unit for my needs. I sold my car back to the dealership and boom I’m home! I’m very happy living in lowertown at the Pioneer Endicott! The construction noise from the new art museum affects my unit in particular a lot. I don’t even care. It’s well cared for and well maintained and staff are really doing their jobs. This is what renting is supposed to look like.
I love living here! Everyone is so nice, it’s a lot quieter than I thought it would be and it’s so close to so many good places around Saint Paul. I will most DEFINITELY be resigning my lease (:
