The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Park Lake Village
They were beyond flexible with our move-in date and everything was newly renovated before moving in. I've been here almost 2 years now, and I have no regrets. I love the area and maintenance is very friendly. They are great in the winter with salting everything, plowing the parking lots, and shoveling. I've put in very few maintenance requests (granted 2 of them were own my fault), but they are prompt at getting everything done in a timely manner and considerate of when I'm working from the apartment. The apartment has so much closet space which was one of many reasons why I chose here over the other apartment complexes in the area. I'm hoping to stay and get a 2 bedroom apartment this year before the lease is up, I'm really happy here.
Great place. Good location. I work in an IT Business, so I have to drive by to different places and this location is perfect. The people at the office are friendly, you can feel that you are genuinely welcome! Alena, the manager, is very sharp and professional. In my previous apartment complex I never see the manager's face. Very clean and bright rooms, new windows, kitchen and appliances are up to date. Huge parking area with convenient options to park front or back. If you are looking for a new home, this is a great place.
I lived here for 3 years. I agree with other reviewers who stated that the buildings are old, out of date, and poorly maintained. The windows and screens are old and atrociously dirty. Apartment owners don't have control of the heat at all, so once it's winter, expect to crack your windows regularly because they blast the heat in excess of 90 degrees. The kitchen was newly renovated, but with the cheapest components I've seen in an apartment. Some of the bathroom had been renovated as well, but the plumbing had consistent issues. Snow removal is prompt, but ice remediation is not, so the ample parking and stairs to apartments become accidents waiting to happen every year that had me worried for elderly residents. Management did not respond to requests to remove critters, including squirrels and birds, from the attic space above the apartment and blew off the fact that their staff routinely threw the contents of the recycling bins directly into the garbage. I received an attitude or deflection about every request and question I had. Management and the landlord need to learn to respond to tenants better and need to put some extra work into these buildings, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
Very efficient crew removing snow on porches, sidewalks, and parking lots. Also de-icing the entire complex. They are friendly, polite and persevere until the job is done. Great job guys. Thank you from a tenant.
My husband and I live here peacefully since 2004 (13 years). Never had a problem with neighbors, they are actually very friendly. Maintenance responds quickly and leaves the place clean. Maintenance staff and Office Manager are great. Constantly cleaning and keeping up the apartment complex in its best. Ample parking spaces. Pleasant and a quiet place to live. Walking distance to St. Peter's church, Starbucks, restaurant, bakery, convenient stores, Walgreen store/pharmacy, dry cleaner, gym club and bus to NY and local areas. We love it here!!!!
I lived here for 5 years I love it here its clean no one bothers you very nice no bugs in house when something brakes they come with in 15 minutes you cant ask for more I pay 1000 a month very cheap the people are great the stores are close don't need a car if you like to walk other places I looked at were terrible this place is the one place to live I don't need to own my own home its great for my spouse and I never had a problem here for the 5 years I lived in this apartment
Park Lake Village is a large complex in a very convenient area. The size of the apartments is average, as are the amenities. They are certainly adequate for the average person looking for an affordable apartment in a great location. We looked at every complex in Parsippany prior to moving in 7 years ago, as well as many in surrounding areas, and Park Lake was the best value for the lowest rent out of all of them.
I moved from California to New Jersey with my family due to the job. I didn't have to much time to look for the apartment in the area. I was lucky to find this two bed rooms apartment because I talked to a few apartments. It hards to come by. I been here for three years now. I love the area. It is quiet and safe. Easy access to major routes and freeways. The shopping center are near to the area. The outside and inside of the apartment are well maintain. The management acts fast when problem(s) occur.
Parklake garden apartments is conveniently located as it is closed to Route 46, Route 80. The apartment kitchen and bathroom have been recently renovated and the kitchen has an ample closet/pantry area. The one bedroom apartment has enough closet space ( two closets in livingroom) which are very useful gor storage. The windows would be a major drawback in terms of look as they are pretty old (metallic). The bathroom shower tube is a bit small and it's a little bit annoying to take a shower while the curtain is so closed to your body. However, bathroom is bright and allows for ventilation due to window. The bedroom has a walk in closet and big windows which provide great lighting and save some electricity costs. There is no washer dryer in unit, however there are enough laundry facilities in site. Overall the apartment is priced ok, it does have a good distribution of rooms (except for small bathtub). There is always parking space available and the community is nice, it's a quiet neighborhood.
