I absolutely love my new apartment here at Parallax!! I knew the minute I walked into the office and took a tour of the complex and apartment, I was going to call Parallax home. The approval process was thorough yet it went quickly. Online portal for documents and payments made it even easier. All the staff here are friendly and helpful. I'm looking forward to a long residency here. Plus they love pets!

I had been looking for my own place for months. I was looking for specific requirements for myself and this was the only apartment complex that had exactly what I was hoping for. I looked online first, made an appt to see the place the next day and within a weeks time I was moving in. The ladies in the Leasing office were helping with every aspect of my move in.

We didn’t have electricity in our living room in our 1 bedroom apartment for the entire 12 months we were here. Maintenance came over 10 times to try to fix it but could not. On our last month maintenance finally told us that it’s a wiring issue and that they will have to wait until we’re out because they will need to tear up the wall. We have asked for discounts since this is a violation of our lease and they would not do it. They would not offer anything except that maintenance would keep coming. BEWARE of this place, we had to spend 12 months with no working electricity, fan, and outlets in our living room which is a major part of living in a 1 bed room apartment and quality of life. This place will not discount at all if there is an issue in your apartment, and will not fix it until your gone. Beware of this place!

The issue you mentioned was related to a loose wire in the breaker, which was ultimately replaced. Because you did not report this issue until a few weeks prior to moving out and did not allow us entry during our multiple attempts, we were unable to address your concerns promptly. Clean, modern units. Great maintenance. I love it here. It’s easy to get anywhere from the Parallax. Close to good schools and tons of shopping.

This company has many excuses, very bad issues with pest control. I have spent hundreds in the past few months to keep bugs from entering my apartment. Its useless calling them nothing is resolved but you pay for pest control.
A very quiet place to call home. Close to Georgetown and all major shopping outlets. We have really enjoyed the time we have spent here.
I used to really love living here, but after the winter storm in early February of 2021, I've had nothing but nightmarish experiences. My unit experienced water damage, forcing me to vacate during the storm and afterwards, as demo crews tore the walls out of my single-bedroom apartment. The demolition crew they hired went through my kitchen supplies without asking and used some of my dishes for their work, dumping them on my doorstep without cleaning when they were finished. Going on TWO MONTHS after the initial damage, the apartment management STILL has not taken a single action of repairing my walls. They assured me that my damage was minimum and they could "fast track" the repairs (after five weeks), but the deadline they gave me came and went without any action. I can be understanding about how slow it is to get contractors to work, but the most frustrating part is how little management seems to care about my living situation. They're still charging me FULL RENT during these two months I've been displaced (I can't stay in an apartment with exposed insulation and walls with holes where I could literally crawl through to my neighbors' unit, if I wanted) and only after a lot of frustration was I able to convince them to give me $200 in concessions (less than a fifth of my monthly rent payment). All in all, nice enough place and nice enough people, but never expect them to care about you beyond their profit line if a natural disaster puts you in a bad spot.
Unfortunately there's not an option to select zero stars. Went 12 days without water and was told by the incompetent people manning the office that I should "just deal with it" and carry a bucket of water up three flights of stairs from the pool across the apartment complex to be able to use a toilet. Still waiting on an answer back from the office about when someone is going to come by here and clean up my trashed balcony full of my wall that was torn out and the plumber's personal trash they decided to leave behind for me and to fix the blinds they broke off of my door in the process. Maybe they'll rectify the situation when they finally come by to install my washer and dryer after being without one for over a month.
By far the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. Parking is a joke. You will almost never get a real person when you call. They are cheaply made so you hear every little thing from your neighbors like TV, Fights, Music, Sex, etc. I've called corporate multiple times, they don't call you back. Have not had water running water to my building for over 7 days now. They turned the water on knowing they had not fixed a leak in my apartment and flooded it again and when I asked about who was going to replace my damaged furniture they told me to call my renters insurance even though they are the ones that Intentionally flooded it. During the big snow/freeze nobody bothered removing any of the ice or snow off the sidewalks making it safe to walk on nor did they even bother putting out any salt. After being without water for over a week they still have not provided anyone with drinking water but said we could use the pool water. I asked about getting out of my lease since they can't seem to remotely care about the residents or their well being and provide some drinking water and I was ignored. There are better apartments around here that truly care.
I love the apartment and the features that come with it. I love that youre able to choose the months of your leasing which is very convenient. But being on the second floor, i constantly hear my neighbors so it sometimes feels like theres not true privacy.
Parallax Apartments come at a great price and the view, set-up, and technology provided in the apartments is phenomenal. I enjoy the quiet community, the access to a gym, and the close commute to my work. This apartment I've had no maintenance issues or any infestation. It's super clean and up to date. I would (and have) recommend it to a friend.
Parallax @ Georgetown is a fantastic community, very quiet, never any issue, and if you need any maintenance they are SO NICE and very fast at responding and finding a solution to the problem. I love calling this apartment complex my home!
Living at Parallax is exactly what I would want apartment living to be like. Great response time, in my experience to service requests/work orders. Management has been helpful and communicative during the pandemic which I appreciate. Honestly my favorite extra additive is the valet trash service, seeing as I am lazy and appreciate them taking the trash to the dumpster for me.

Parallax is a great place to live and staff is very courteous to residents...We have not been close contact since Covid-19 transpired...But they keep residents informed to the latest communications.
Great friendly and professional staff
If I could give the place negative stars I would. Management is a JOKE. No one in the office knows what is going on. On the rare occasion you ever ask about a missing package the front office acts like you're speaking a different language. The A.C. in the apartment only had to be "fixed" 9 times in a year. If someone in the office says they will call you back, THEY WON'T. Lol at the lease agreements. If they tell you x,y,z will be refunded at the end of your lease, you will never see that money. I could go on, but basically don't move here.
So far so good... Staff is great, manager introduced herself to us and was very friendly. Sounds like lots of resident events...
I just want to thank Annie, the manager and the staff at Vantage, for making me feel like family, with their friendly smile and welcoming spirit. It's made my stay at Vantage for the last year a pleasant one. I appreciate the prompt response to maintenance issues when they come up as well, that's key. They have been more that just staff, but they've become friends to me. Thank you guys??
I loooooooove it here!! I visit my mother almost daily and she has lived here for over 10 months. I was sitting at the pool yesterday when the manager came out and offered us all at the pool Popsicles.... It's the little things!! The entire staff is always really kind to me and my mom too. My moms move in was a little bumpy, but I assume it is due to the new build?? No clue, but anytime she has needed anything they always are there.... Just a really nice place all around. Is everything perfect? Nope... But, there is a big difference lately. Love it for my mom!!! An excellent community is being built here!
I moved in to Vantage after relocating from the east coast. Needless to say, I was terrified about moving to a completely new area all alone. Vantage has created a comfortable and accessible community that made me feel right at home. Between the social events and attentive staff, I couldn't be happier. This is the perfect location for all sorts of people. There are families living here with enough space for kids to run and play. There are also young professionals, like myself, who are living in their first apartment. Despite the varying types of residents, Vantage manages to keep a clean and communal environment. Thrilled to be here!
