As long-term residents we love our apartment and living at Overture 9th&CO. The building is beautiful and very well maintained. Management is very friendly and helpful and a pleasure to just have a conversation with. Living in 9th&CO has many conveniences all within walking distance, restaurants, Trader Joes, and many personal services. Rose Hospital is three blocks away, along with many doctor offices. With Denver museums, the Denver Botanic Gardens, Denver Center for the Performing Arts and many other cultural locations short rides away, and all the major sport teams we can always find something to do.

My partner and I have lived in this welcoming senior community for over 3 years and have found the activities and camaraderie stimulating. We enjoy socializing as well as hanging out in our beautiful apartment.There are great opportunities for exercising the mind as well as the body. We enjoy an active lifestyle: swimming, pool volleyball, a walking group, a gourmet group, bookclub, a pottery room, dance aerobics, full body workout with an experienced occupational therapist, regular happy hours and brunches. I never imagined that being retired afforded such fulfilling opportunities.

Completely inadequate security. Secure garage doors are broken more often than they work. We have experienced an armed robbery, a car, theft, windshield and other car vandalism and most recently theft by another resident of over $1000 of my personal belongings from a shopping cart adjacent to my vehicle in the supposedly secure section of the garage

Moved in last week - moving into the building was very easy. Everyone is friendly and inviting. We just started getting involved in activities depicted on the monthly calandar and each one has been a very good experience. Our apartment is 600 sq ft, so occasionally I got to the sky lounge to do some lap-top work or just relax in a quiet place. - I think we'll really like it here.

Horrifying

The neighborhood: 1. The alleyway between Overture and the old VA parking garage has become a magnet for homeless people, drug dealers and gangs of young males. I observe these occurrences nightly when I take my dog out. 2. This year, drugs are regularly being sold on the NE corner. The customers are young affluent residents of the two high-rent high rises to the west. 3. I encountered a young male shooting up drugs in the enclave just outside the NE door. I told him to take it somewhere else. He stumbled away. 4. Twice, I have found homeless people completely unconscious from the heat on Overture’s SE steps. Homeless use the road as a corridor. Once, a homeless woman with a shopping cart with two dogs was being chased by a homeless man. They were yelling at each other and it echoed. I made him go away and brought her dog food. 5. Gangs use the road as a corridor and to break into the garage and west side of the VA. I’ve heard them breaking glass. The apartment: 1. No self-cleaning feature on the stove. 2. The washer and dryer are basic. You have to manually pause after the wash in order to add fabric softener. The washer goes off kilter regardless of the load and bangs around. 3. There are not enough kitchen cabinets or drawers in the 1-bedroom. 4. The 1-bedroom without a balcony is stuffy. The windows don’t open. There is a small air circulation vent by the kitchen that does little. I had to buy a ceiling fan and will have to pay to have it removed. 5. I always have to keep my bedroom shade closed and LR shade only partially open because there are two elderly men across from me who stare into my apartment. Loose concrete accident I had multiple injuries from stepping on loose concrete when getting out of the swimming pool on 7/15/22. A torn gluteus medius required surgery. Other injuries have still not healed. Greystar management did not contact my witness and found someone who lied for them. They denied any responsibility. It took almost 3 months for them to fix the concrete.

Life at 9th & Co so far has been like a breath of fresh air for me. I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and being surrounded by luxury resort style amenities.
