Overall a great apartment. The staff are friendly and great amenities for all residents. However, I would take one star off since the elevator and gym were unavailable for a while.

The public amenities in the apartment, such as the gym, swimming pool, and shared work areas, are excellent. The front desk is very responsible, and they promptly notify you via SMS and email when a package arrives. Maintenance for the in-unit facilities is also very timely. The service is great, and life is very convenient. There's a Starbucks and a grocery store just a 5-minute walk away

Overall it's not bad but we have been under construction since we moved in. Wish there was a peep hole in the doors and not as big of a hole at the bottom of each apartment door. Great location though!

So far so good! The staff has been friendly - I wish I know when I can and can’t use the elevator because of the construction. Apartment has been a big loud because of the construction.

There are so many things that make Ovation a great place to live, so I thought I'd share a few. First and foremost is how quiet the building is. I learned I had small children living next door when I met them in the hallway weeks after I moved in. Location is another great amenity - Starbucks and Harris Teeter are less than a block away and Tysons Corner is 4 blocks away. Our renovation is done and the building looks amazing; from our new fitness center that overlooks the outside pool to the new entrance that is so welcoming. Our staff, from the concierge to maintenance, is wonderful and very attentive to any and all of our needs. The building is very secure and the underground parking provides easy access to the elevators and has several electric charging stations for EVs. And to top it all off we have amazing views of McLean. I wouldn't live anywhere else in McLean!

I like Ovation in general. Pros: great location (with starbucks and harris teeter nearby), great community and people living here, good hardware within the apartment, maintenance team always arrive promptly, we can print using the concierge office, drop off packages and dry cleanings at the front desk which is very convenient; decent pricing. Cons: the renovation of lobby took 6 months and I didn't get to enjoy amenities that much, let alone the renovation noise; leasing office was vacant from time to time and I don't know whom to reach during emergencies; garbage chute was always clogged and not repaired immediately; garage door doesn't have a visitor buzzer option.

Apartment has been under renovation for so long. Neighbor smokes off the balcony, even though there is a no smoke policy; they did nothing to resolve the issue.

My experience has been fine so far. I can't wait until the construction is finished. My only qualm about living here is the limited guest parking spots and needing a pass/having a limited number for overnight.

Constant elevator issues! With only 2-3 elevators working out of 5 it's really frustrating especially for those that live on the higher floors.

The apartment itself is lovely. Great views, big windows, spacious. However, the building as a whole has had a handful of issues, most top of mind being the extraordinarily fickly elevators. One broke in March, and still has yet to be fixed. Another broke not too long ago, with little hope of that one being fixed, if the first elevator hasn’t even been addressed yet. This, coupled with the fact the building has been undergoing disruptive construction, has led to multiple disgruntled residents. The rent has also gone up, despite these flaws. I’ve otherwise enjoyed my time and stay at this apartment complex, but am disappointed and frustrated at the seeming lack of urgency at getting the elevators fixed, or being more explicit about the process of it getting fixed (emails have gone out with empty platitudes of appreciation for our patience, but that’s about it).

The elevator has been broken the entire time I have lived here. Even worse, we were told before signing that it was going to be fixed by February. It is now May and there are still no plans of it being fixed. We also were not told about the renovation that would be going on during our time living here. The view and the coffee machine are very nice though. There is also a Harris Teeter and Starbucks walking distance.

Looking forward to the new amenities and enhanced modifications which will upgrade our building. The ambiance, particularly at night is radiant...well-lit pathways, fountains spraying water and moonlight adds to the serenity you feel here.

The people here are very communicative and responsive to any requests that we submit through the resident portal, which is very easy and convenient to do. Aside from that, living here has also been very nice; the views are great and the concierge and leasing office folks are very friendly as well.
