Overall my expierence has been honestly 95% positive. A couple inconveniences here and there but nothing abnormal and nothing that was particularly the apartment complex fault. Clean space, and maintence crew was always very fast to fix any issues.

This is a beautiful new community and the staff has been incredibly friendly and helpful. There are so many amenities and the nuances that I wish we had gotten a heads up about at orientation or through the leasing process. Now that I'm on the email thread, I feel like I'm constantly running to concierge to ask questions. Everything seems very well maintained so far and the noise level is very low which is lovely, especially considering there's a pool.

Moving into Oakville was a dream. I had considered different apartment complexes in the area and Oakville surpassed in service and the ease of the process. I can't wait to experience this community! Only thing I'd recommend is verify with the leasing office about the accuracy of the floor plans--some units are advertised under floorplans that are not exact matches to the actual unit.

Overall it’s been a good experience at Oakville. The leasing staff has always been friendly and prompt in addressing concerns. There were some early hiccups with a water leak from apartment above however the maintenance staff came immediately and rectified the issue.

So far Oakville has been a wonderful property. I ended up touring the property virtually, and signed a lease ‘sight unseen’, and needless to say I was not disappointed! Here are the things that I think are awesome: *The gym, pool, courtyard, yoga studio and lounges are absolutely amazing, and well designed! *There is a fully functional dog spa, and the parking garages are well secured. *The building is extremely safe, and it requires use of a Key Fob to go everywhere, and there are little ‘video comms’ everywhere too. *The kitchen appliances are new and work VERY well, and they are aesthetically pleasing! *I love the painted walls, living somewhere that has colors other than off white is actually very nice! There are a few minor inconveniences- and when I say minor, I mean VERY minor! *There are no ceiling fans. *There is no overhead/installed lighting in the bedroom or living room, so it is very lamp dependent. Over all, I would recommend this property!

So far, my experience has been wonderful. I moved in a few days ago and was helped my the front desk immediately on little things like the loading dock and orienting me. Maintenance was incredibly nice and prompt. The apartment is beautiful and spacious. And, the area is fantastic - especially if you have a dog.

The team and facilities are top shelf. Anytime there is an issue, they respond quickly. The complex hosts a number of events from bingo to terrarium building.

Wonderful experience so far. Staff has been there all the way. Every question answered and every curve ball straighten out. Was able to book the loading dock for the hours I needed. The check in went smooth.

Good experience thus far, and the internet is working much better than before. Staff is still excellent and very helpful and responsive. I am pleased with the progress as compared to the first few months, but its to be expected for a new building.

So far so good. There have been a few building issues that staff as addressed quickly, I think the trouble is simply with new construction and how apts are often built these days. Staff are friendly and helpful. Community is pretty quiet and neighbors are good. Easy walking distance to a lot of things.

Overall, very good. Some wrong charges on bills but they seem to have fixed that. Nice amenities and a new building. Building security in the Ives could be stronger.

My experience has been nothing but amazing thus far; I have no complaints. If a concern or question of mine does come about then it is always rectified in a wonderful timeframe and manner. The Oakville is a quiet, friendly place; the staff is very helpful and congenial and the amenities are outstanding! The WiFi/Internet access can be a bit spotty at times, however, especially in the common areas.

The Internet is ABSOLUTE TRASH!!!!! I am so sick of not being able to watch more than 60 seconds of tv because of the Internet not being able to connect. I have one TV and one phone it should work perfectly fine. I have sent 112 emails to the company Smarteria and I have called numerous times only for the Internet to get worse. I have been hung up on. I have had most of my emails unanswered and I've been told to call back to troubleshoot when I have literally spent probably 6 hours trying to troubleshoot with them via phone. They told me they were going to send somebody to my home one morning. I took the day off and no one showed. I work extremely hard and all I want at the end of the day is to watch 30 to 60 minutes of TV to unwind and decompress before I go to sleep and I have not been able to do that in months and nobody has helped. I have also sent an email to the management company to see if there are any other internet options for me and I've gotten no response from that either.

I am a new resident here at Oakville. I chose Oakville not only because it is brand new apartment in an amazing location minutes from Potomac Yard Metro Center, great amenities with yoga room and new gym equipments, and business center but my leasing agent Morgan made the experience super pleasant which is why I chose Oakville. Also featuring La Columbe coffee for the residents is a bonus!

My move in was so seamless and Thea was at the door to greet me once I arrived. The entire team in the leasing office and concierge was amazing and so helpful since my movers were late they allowed me to use another entrance to unload. Really love the building overall, the attention to detail, location, amenities, etc. Love our apartment and the high quality finishes and that the walls do a great job of absorbing sound. The only reason I have feel the building has not earned the 5 stars is the internet/ wifi situation. We have intermittent connection which causes distributions when working and no signal in the gym so hard to do our workout apps from our phones.

The place is beautiful. The location is undeniable because you have the best of both worlds: close to the historic King street with all the shops/restaurants and near DCA for travel purposes. The people are friendly, fun, knowledgeable, supportive, and human-centered. The price is competitive yet worth it, so join the Oakville community. The new gem of Alexandria!

absolutely incredible building and staff! Every person I’ve spoken to, from my wonderful leasing agent to the building maintenance workers, have gone above and beyond to be genuine and kind. The gym, clubrooms, courtyards, rooms, hallways, everything: gorgeous. The location can’t be beat either. I think I might be obsessed.
