Oak Crest is an excellent and beautiful place to live in. It’s a gated community. Apartments are great. And management staff are very professional and helpful. We had a very good experience. And Melisa was very very helpful. I can’t thank her enough. I would highly recommend this place to my family and friends.

The move in was great and love the new technology of the app. The staff was welcoming and made sure everything is needed was done.

If it wasn't for being told projects were completed when they haven't even started, then this place would probably get a 10 out of 10 for satisfaction

These apartments are great. Leasing agents are really nice and helpful, the community is great and everything is always clean. Would definitely recommend.

I LOVE living at Oak Crest, but I don't like the ridiculous price increases and the delays in repairing important things like AC, refrigerator or stove. The safety and cleanliness are top tier though.

I have had a decent living experience at Oak Crest. The community is friendly and welcoming. The staff promptly and attentively addresses maintenance requests submitted through the resident portal. The location is conveniently situated, providing me with a pleasant and fulfilling living environment that I have been proud to call home for over three years.

I have been at this apartment complex for 3 years. Over the years management has changed but I can say this current management company has been the best since Camden no longer managed the property. The staff are nice and communicate with the community with events and updates. Maintenance is quick and efficient and always can be seen around the property. The community is quiet for the most part and I enjoyed my time here at Oak Crest

I do like the property. The maintenance grew are great. The property is pretty well kept and clean. I’ve lived here for over a year and my two issues I’ve had have been that the gym is missing so many free weights and I have to pay to go to a outside gym to workout. They have not been replaced for a year and a half and it’s a bit annoying. Also I have asked multiple times about jacuzzi it is never hot and I would love to use it but it’s always cold. I have only been able to use it once out of the year in a half living here. It’s a disappointment since I pay amenities fees.

This is a good place to live. Maintenance is swift and good. The grounds are clean thanks to a gentleman who walks the entire campus daily picking up trash.

I have enjoyed living at Oak Crest for the past 5 years. Great community and affordable prices.

The apartment is decent and has renovated units. But the management and residents are unfortunately not the best. Management is unresponsive with complaints and residents can be pretty dirty at times. I noticed that dog droppings being left are pretty common and nothing is really done, owners don't pick up after their animals. Also no one has maintenanced the grass so it's been growing really tall and you can find tidbits of litter. I like the place but they can afford to put some effort into cleaning.

I moved in September, and love my apartment! I’ll definitely be renewing my lease next year. The office staff is so helpful, and the maintenance team is extremely helpful.

Oak Crest is a decent place to live. The property has decreased in some areas such as trash issue. People leave their trash all around the dumpster instead of putting it in the dumpster. It truly makes the property look nasty and I’m embarrassed when I have guests seeing that. It is decently quiet throughout the day and evening as I work at home sometimes so I do appreciate that. At one point there was a huge issue with cars being broken into and tires stolen but I have not heard much of this for awhile. There is a community portal but I do not like that the posts are filtered. Management controls what is posted which concerns me that they are not approving posts that could be valuable information from another resident. This did not always used to be like this. Overall it is a decent and average place to live.

Overall living in Oak Crest is a great experience for me. Community is clean and most of the neighbors are very friendly, no issues with parking even you back home late. The only thing that I hope they can improve is adding more security features at night.

So i moved here in 2018 when the property was under camden management and it was great at that time. Recently property got bought by another company and since then it getting worse and worse every single day. Trash that never getting picked up. Neighbors who just doesn’t care about people in the building. Safety is worse its ever been. Maintenance that took eternity to fix a simple things. I don’t think I have a single good things to say about the place now after almost 5 years here. I can’t wait for my lease to end. They also bought a fake reviews thats why this apartment has such a high rating. Although the current management and sales will tell you how great everything is , don’t believe it, cause its their job to lie. The don’t pick up the phone now at the office and not interested in the community. So yeah think twice before moving here . Location is actually pretty great in terms of things around but the property is 1 star and nothing else Look somewhere else if you can

Current management doesn’t currently care and they won’t care. I’ve happily lived here for years, but the last six months has been a down slide. Read the recent reviews. The property was recently sold and a new management company was brought in. The quality of the property and overall community has degraded quickly. The grounds are constantly littered. Throughout the corridors, parking lots, and other public area you’ll find covered in trash. Broken glass beer bottles and drug paraphernalia are common. There have been multiple instances of vehicles who’ve had all their tires stolen (left on bricks.) Don’t bother ordering anything online because it is a certainty that it will be stolen. Pretty common to see obvious drug deals in the parking lots. The community markets itself as a “non-smoking community” but you can’t walk outside without being engulfed in weed and cigarette smoke.

Since new management came in the service has been great!

I have lived here about 2 weeks in a 2BR/2BA F layout apt number ending 08 (to locate on map). Apt was clean and well maintained upon move in and does look like the 3D pictures on the website (ok, teeny bit less shiny but basically accurate). Most apt have the "Classic finish" and while it looks slightly less modern in design, it does NOT have that old-building-can't-get-the-cracks/corners/grout-to-look-fully-clean-no-matter-how-much-I-clean thing going on at all. Layout of the apartment is very well planned so that you are able to use the space really well - no awkward angles. Feels much larger than sq footage. Lots of light, closets (walk in), balcony (would fit a patio set w/ table), and bathtubs (oversize) are all big. Comes with good quality blinds, microwave, wall to wall carpeting, dishwasher, undamaged walls, AC, and overhead lighting and fans in all rooms. Amazon, UPS, FedEx packages all get delivered to your door even if you're on the third floor. USPS goes to the central mail room. They were nice about handling deliveries prior to move in. Trash/recycling gets picked up from outside your door Mon-Thurs but you can only put it out between 6-8pm to prevent lots of trash sitting out. There are also trash compactors around for your use. I have never had trouble parking my SUV immediately in front of my building, without paying extra to have a reserved or carport-covered space, and at all hours. Also lots of visitor parking around the edges of the complex. Staff email responsiveness prior to move in was a little mixed although always able to get done what was necessary with phone, etc. Once here, in person, they are EXTREMELY available and personable. Maintenance or other requests are typically answered immediately or same day, and if you need anything you can drop by the office very easily on your way out. Rent and utilities all easily payable online via autopay. My only complaint is the "smart locks" are annoyingly slow and the corresponding app (Chirp) isn't great. But small potatoes. It does allow you to give guests access without going to the gate, including deliveries, or to give your significant other an electronic "key." The complex itself & pool is smaller than it looks in pics and the online map but I actually think this is a plus in terms of being walkable and being quiet. All in all, highly recommend.

just moved into Camden Oak Crest about a month ago, and it has been the absolute beat experience ever!! Mirna was so helpful throughout the whole leasing process, move in experience, and after the move in! She made sure my move in went smooth. I was working the day I had to move get my keys, and they made it a stress-free experience for me. The community is absolutely beautiful so it was easy deciding to move here. Maintenance also made sure my apartment home was perfect! It was so clean and so gorgeous! Thank you everyone for making this such a great experience and for always asking how my daughter is doing when I come in. We appreciate you all so much!

Great place to live! The office ladies are really nice and helpful. I really enjoy working out in the fitness center, they have great equipment. The pool is nice and clean. The grounds is well maintained. Hector is really nice and very attentive. My work orders get completed right away. I really enjoy my apartment is quiet and close to everything. Galleria is about 15-20 min away which is great for me. Thank you for making it a nice and friendly community.

This has been more than a perfect place to live. I've lived here for almost 8 months now and have been given nothing but excellent service since day one. The entire staff has been great to work with, extremely friendly and quick to service every need. Perfect family environment, pet friendly and an overall safe place to call home.

Very nice property with a professional staff. It’s close to everything and 20 min away from Galleria. The pool and fitness center are nice and clean. The experience with every single person in the office has been wonderful. Everyone that I have spoken with has been very helpful. I can’t wait to move in and enjoy my new home.

I went in to look for an apartment for my girlfriend and she loved it even over FaceTime. Ashley was so helpful with explaining all the fees and showing me all the great things Camden has to offer. Hands down love this place. The staff was friendly and attentive. You really should come take a look.

I’ve lived at 3 Camden complexes during my 8 years living in Houston. Although inner loop was my favorite area to live in, the Camden Oak Crest location has been my favorite complex because of the staff. Always friendly and timely about handling requests.

Camden Oak Crest is absolutely the best apartment community. It is a clean and beautiful and is maintained extremely well with a professional and courteous maintenance team that is amazing! The management staff is always there for the residents and really try to get to know everyone. The staff really cares about the residents and also communicate consistently and effectively. The apartments are conveniently close to many grocery stores and the West Park Toll Way. I’m happy that I chose to live at Camden Oak Crest. I have lived in several Camden communities. This will be my 3rd community and in every community they have great staff! Especially maintenance, they are all extra sweet and go out of their way to help you! Thank you to the team and wonderful management.

Great location in the West Chase area. Close to grocery stores and places to eat. Clean community and great staff, everyone is so helpful with all my needs. l really like the trash valet. Would recommend this property to anyone I know.

Camden Oak Crest has really deteriorated in service. They won't do anything about the real issues the property has, but they are so quick to try to vacate you for small issues. I pay way too much for the service that I am getting. I come home and there are people hanging around the parking area "looking" for people. My boyfriend was once harassed by someone he didn't even know. I've been harassed by many people wondering around in the parking area. I once had a tenant following me everywhere I go and waiting to see when I got home. I called Camden Oak Crest on this and nobody ever did anything. They said that they called the courtesy officer to get in contact with me, but the officer NEVER contacted me and the stalking persisted until the tenant moved out. I am moving out soon and I can't wait to do so!!!!!!!!!!!

Lived here for 2 years and it's absolutely the best. The staff is incredible and the maintenance team is very quick to fix any issue I may have. Alyssa and Priscilla are my favorite. They always have a smile on their face and are willing to help you out with anything! One of the best places I've ever lived, hands down.

Well,Where should I begin? Hmmm.... for starters its a very homely community which makes one feel "at home". community is always kept neat and yes,It is well maintained. U can access the computer room and the gym 24/7 which is awesome! My apartment is just by the pool so I have a cool view! parking places are plenty and recently they had upgraded a lot of safety features so thats great. staff is very welcoming,they dont shoo u away;) Last but not the least,for me my neighbours are the " cherry on the top!"

I am a returning Resident at Camden Oak Crest and I can’t say enough about my living experience for the second time around. Camden Properties on a whole stand true to their “Living Excellence”, the Staff here meets the needs of Residence each and every day, if you have to address an issue or a concern, the staff do more than their best to take care of it immediately, the Service Staff does an awesome job as well, making sure your service request or repair is handled efficiently and quickly, the business office for Residence is well equipped and available when you need it, as well as the fitness center, activities, events, and so many other amenities that’s included for Residents. Whether you are single or have family, this property has all the amenities and so much more to make you feel quite at home in a comfortable environment. Also to mention another reason brings me back to a place I feel pleased to call home once again, is that I take care of my Mother so everything is conveniently located in order for her to get the best care she needs without the hassle of commuting far away. As we all know no place is safe, but we all have to be mindful of our own surroundings and be careful and also I feel that the management and staff really do a great job of enforcing safety awareness and informing Residence immediately of all concerns.

My roommate and I have only been living in Houston for almost a year now and we searched up and down ALL of the westchase area with a one bedroom budget and presidential suite taste. We had to have the same size closets and bathrooms, modern appliances, state of the art workout room among other things haha. We took an endless amount of trips up and down Westminster and Richmond every Saturday in June and July this year that left us so discouraged but we absolutely did not want to live with our family members any longer.Just when we were about to give in and settle for something we didn't really want we found Camden oak crest. Not only are they affordable but they are so cute and cozy! I won't say I imagined paying what I pay for the apartment but with the benefits of where we are placed, how quiet and nice the neighbors are and all the Amenities that are included really blew us away. If you have a roommate you will LOVE and of the two bed two bath apartments,we even loved the two bed one bath,and the lighting is always perfect for selfies too. I cant forget how awesome the leasing office employees (Especially Alyssa Maxwell I LOVE HER!!! LOL) are as well as maintenance, always on their job ALWAYS!! would recommend to anyone.

It is a stone throw to shopping places, restaurants, office complexes and bus stops. Amenities in the apartment are great. The staff and maintenance crew are friendly and help get things done pretty fast. Swimming pool and gym are maintained very well. Its a good place to live in west chase neighborhood !!

I am living here for the past 3 years and this place is comfortable. This complex is clean and its proximity to shops and malls are unmatched. The maintenance crew is one of the best and get things done pretty quick. The office is always at our reach and quiet responsive. Pool and Gym are neat. Residents are friendly. On the flip side, the security could have been better and the residents should be informed on all the crimes occurring in the facility. I personally knew a car theft and a burglary that occurred in the complex but was not communicated to the residents. Lately the office is not accepting resident packages reasoning space constraints which is strange (believe this is a basic service every other apartment is offering). The other complaint i heard is that several charges are being levied at time of moving out. Residents should be treated with the same respect during exit as welcomed during entry as well. But on the whole, this is a great complex in this area and i would recommend this place to anyone.

I have lived at Camden Oak Crest since 2009. I have owned 2 homes and done most of the maintenance on them. I did research on Apartment Homes and found Camden. I was born and raised in Houston Texas so I know the city well. I wanted a Company with a solid reputation and an excellent record of maintenance on property and apartment units. I found it here. The staff, both maintenance and office, are excellent.The 24/7 on property maintenance staff won me over. I have never had a problem that they did not solve in a timely manner. I love the Landscape and the attention to detail. I live in a one Bedroom one bath 635 square foot unit in front of the pool on the first floor. It is so nice to wake up open my blinds and imagine I am in the Islands in a 5 star resort hotel.

I love living in Camden Oaks! I have only lived here less than a year but I have already decided to renew my contract for next year! The layout of my apartment is huge in comparison to other apartments I was looking at within the same price range. Everything is clean, new, well maintained and pest free! The staff is super friendly and have always replied to my questions and addressed any issues (AC and other minor appliance issues) within a timely manner (less than 12 hours). I love that whenever I call, the staff is always readily available to help. It’s also nice being able to walk around with my dog and have the staff at Camden personally say hello to me! The environment here is great, super friendly, and so well maintained- I love how hard the grounds crew works to keep the landscaping so perfect and pristine. The only down side is working 45 minutes from home, but it’s worth it to be able to come home to a home I can actually call home

Hello all. I highly recommend Camden Oak Crest as your next new home. I've been renting with them since 2002 and I've been at this location since 2010 and let me tell you - I love it! The leasing office staff is always available and nice. I always feel welcome be them. They always go above and beyond to make you feel like you are the only resident. One other thing I love about Camden is that they are very involve with community service activities - which to me, it says a lot about the company. Camden ROCKS!

I've been here for a few months now and I have no complaints. I have had some minor issues with my apartment and it has been fixed within a 24 hour window. I can honestly say that I am enjoying my stay here. The pool, clubhouse, business room, and gym is all extra to me, but I enjoy having access to these things. Especially when I do not want to be in my apartment. The staff and management is good every encounter I have had with any of the staff has been awesome. I think that this is an ideal place to live especially if you love having amenities that cater to you and your family. I'm happy to be apart of the camden family. Would definitely tell anyone that they should choose camden oak crest as they're next home.

Everything is nice and well maintained. The best thing so far is no insects, which is such a relief for me as I have a baby. People in the leasing office are always nice. And I bet the swimming pool is the best in the area. Always clean and clear. This is the one that look exactly like what you have at a resort and always want to jump into in hot summer! The only thing I don't like is that the leasing office has just stopped receiving packages (I think it's a must-have service, especially for a high rent range apartments like this). Fedex never leave packages at front door if leasing office does not accept them. I have to travel nearly 10 miles to pick up packages at their post office :(

We have lived at this property since May 2015. The property is well maintained and maintenance comes to your apartment immediately (within 24 hours) when called. The leasing staff is very friendly and helpful and will respond promptly to any questions or concerns. The only issues we have is that the complex does not accept packages that do not fit in the mailbox. This is apparently a Camden-wide policy and not just something associated with this complex. Regardless, we may have reconsidered signing our lease has we known of this policy as we receive a lot of packages each month.
