I moved into Novel in June 2025, and I’m enjoying my time here as a resident so far! Staff have been very responsive, and the residents here have been great as well. I work from my apartment and everything I need is within walking distance to the building or I can access right inside the building, and the free coffee from Any Day Now is icing on the cake!

Living here at Novel South Capital has been one of the best experience living in apartment. They offer so much in amenities you have your pool upstairs. You have your 24 hour gym. You also have a clubhouse in which you can host events .The apartments are outstanding. The closet space your livingroom,dining room area,plus the kitchen area is superb. Also it is pet friendly it has a dog park that I see a lot of dogs like to go to. If I had to choose to live somewhere it would be right here Novel South Capital and if I was you, I would come live here too.I have been living here for four years now I love it. One of the best things about Novel South Capital concierges maintain a secure building and also your packages. is 10 minutes away from Reagan national Airport and it’s off the green line. We have been living here for almost a year now and are overall very happy with our experience. Organized, friendly staff that responded promptly. The maintenance team is super fast about responding to any requests. The building hosts a lot of great fun events! Only downside is there are some parking issues and neighborhood navy yard crime issues. The building does have extra security at times.

Seamless moving process and attentive reception from beginning to end! Emily has been incredibly helpful in handling our application, documentation submissions, and lease generation. They easily accommodated an adjusted move-in time and moved up our loading dock reservation. There are plenty of carts available to accommodate the package, load needs of the residence in each building. All reception staff are friendly and eager to help!

Very easy to move in. The elevator was right next to the loading dock which made moving all of the items very easy to move up to the room. Overall great experience

All staff is really nice and always helpful! I love living in a building where i see friendly faces every morning when I come downstairs! I love living here, the amenities are great (the pool has been super fun lately), and having any day now in the lobby is a hugeeee plus. Special shout-out to our cleaning staff, the building is always immaculate and I know they work so hard to do that! Our concierges are also the best! I’m so glad I chose to live here!

Very welcoming staff. Answered any and all of my questions during the lease signing and move-in processes and made the whole transition so easy. Each leasing agent tried their best to fix any of the small issues that came up during both processes. Very clean and simple apartments with great appliances and finishes. A lot of nice amenities and a great location, in the Navy Yard but a few blocks off of the busy streets and avenues.

I've been living at Novel for several months now, and overall it's been a great experience. The building is well-maintained, and the management team is responsive and professional. I really appreciate how clean the common areas are and how quickly maintenance requests are handled. My only minor complaints are the amount of times I’ve had to request a maintenance request and the delay in information regarding the flooding incident back in the Fall.
Novel is amazing! We've enjoyed our two years here and will continue to renew! Becca, Stephanie, and the rest of the staff make this place a home.

I love the monthly events calendar and seeing regular faces in the lobby each day. Novel is clean and very conveniently located!! Big fan all around.
I’ve lived here for a full year now and am still getting lots of sensitive mail from previous tenants (bank statements, tax forms, insurance documents, etc) and have asked several times if someone could reach out to these previous tenants just to notify them of all of the important mail that has been delivered here. I’ve written “return to sender; not at this address” on at least a hundred pieces of mail and put them back in the mail slot but i still keep getting tons of mail for them every time I check my mailbox. No one in the leasing office has been able to explain to me why they are unwilling to attempt to contact the previous tenants. If I were those previous tenants, I would want to know and would appreciate some kind of outreach or message about it. It doesn’t convey much care for the people who live here if no one is willing to make any effort to address something like that. It’s not that difficult to write an email or make a phone call.
The people who help keep the building up and running are fantastic and are always willing to help!! The amenities are also great and always clean and up to date.

Management is very helpful. Anytime I’ve had any problems, they’ve been quick to respond and solve my apartment issues. They have 24 hour concierge which makes me feel safe and comfortable. I also appreciate that the elevators are always working, as I know this has been an issue in other buildings.

We recently moved in and couldn’t be happier with Novel South Capitol. The amenities are fantastic, the location is convenient, the views are great, and the staff are absolutely wonderful and always eager to help!
I like Novel because it feels like a comfortable and familiar space. There’s a sense of community, but I also have the solitude I need when I want it. The location is convenient, and overall, it just feels like home.
The staff was helpful and very professional, however, some of the automated tools such as the one used the renter insurance was glitchy. I received numerous emails for me to upload my policy which I did on numerous occasions. Outside of that my experience has been great!
I love living at Novel! I’ve lived here for coming up on two years and it continues to be an outstanding community. Great staff, events and amenities.

I like my apartment and the concierge has been great! The small dog park helps so much when having a dog, and there is a good community of people here.
Great community here at novel! Leasing office goes above and beyond in terms of community engagement. However, don’t expect any sort of negotiations if you’re moving in, they do not budge .
Great staff! Great location. Great atmosphere. People who love dogs, have a growth mindset, and are happy and friendly live here. Complimentary coffee from Any Day Now with your resident mug. Parking is pricier than most ($350/month).
I had a great move in experience coming from Florida with Novel! The experience was smooth and easy and I was supported by the helpful staff members.
Novel has my heart. From front desk to maintenance, we feel privileged to be in such a warm and welcoming community. We are right at home and couldn’t be happier.
