Northwoods West

Very Developed and pretty well maintained community. Only had one service request so far and was responded to in about a week. For what we are paying, we feel like this place is a diamond so far.

I have been a resident at Northwoods for more than 20 years. Obviously I enjoy my residence. My apartment has everything I could want including central air, full size washer and dryer and complete complement of kitchen appliances. Amenities include pool, exercise room with equipment, Amazon lockers and dog park. We are close to I-95, Rte 9, and the Berlin Tpke. Supermarkets, drugstores, and Walmart are a very quick drive along with many eateries, gas stations and lots of other convenient stores. Cannot ask for more!

Our experience at Northwoods has been great. We enjoy the pool and the walking path. The maintenance team are very quick and efficient. The only complaint would be how loud the AC can be.

Excellent place to live. Management and maintenance are very friendly and responsive. I have lived here over 5 years and have had a positive experience.

Just moved in and love it so far! Everyone seems so nice. Can’t wait til the pool opens next month. The community is perfect for walking and everthii in minis very convenient

The apartment and amenities are great! It’s a quiet dog friendly community in a great location. It checked all my preferences boxes (laundry in unit, ac, dishwasher, patio/balcony) and then some. I’m happy to call this place home.

Just moved in 2 weeks ago. The process was very smooth and easily handled with the property management team, especially the turn around time from seeing the apartment and having a lease signed! All documentation needed was clearly communicated and when some weren’t available due to logistics, the management team was extremely accommodating. 10/10

I’ve really enjoyed living at Northwoods so far! The apartment is plenty spacious and I love seeing everyone walking around with their dogs. The only problem I’ve had is the app to access the different facilities hasn’t worked because the WiFi connection for the West building doesn’t show the proper WiFi connection.

Not worth the money. The people waking their dogs have no awareness of other people with dogs. There is dog poop everywhere. Maintenance takes forever to fix things.

Really enjoyed my experience living on the west side. Just moved to the east side due to needing more space and while I’m still happy with my apartment, I’m disappointed in the parking situation. If you’re planning to be the only adult who drives in your home, it would probably be fine, but you only get one parking spot per unit even if you have multiple adults in the home. There are very few visitor spots and a lot of them are filled with cars that never move, so it can be impossible to find a spot at certain times. It does feel unfair to have to park like a guest in a place that I pay for. However, the property is very well maintained and things are handled quickly and effectively when you need maintenance done.

Maintenance staff are always helpful and fast. Apartment is in a good location, staff are responsive with email communication, and it’s a nice community. Amazon lockers have been great addition.

Haven’t had any issues. Was pleased with the fireplace cleaning and the bank inspection. All involved were courteous and friendly. The maintenance of the parking lot during the snow storms was accomplished during the scheduled times. - thanks!

Management is not good. For new one, No Orientation. No briefing, No introduction about anything. When you launch a complain no body care about it.

I love the community! I feel there are areas that need updating - why aren't there digital keypads on all buildings? We already have the app for the gym?

This is our second year here and we love it! Quiet community and lovely leasing staff - we have had a few problems when it has come to billing and the leasing staff were on top of it. The complex is in a great location as well! Would highly recommend it here.

Nice place to live. The big issue is no parking for residents. It's dog friendly which is nice but now too many HUGE dogs which should not be allowed in one bedroom apartments. I think the owners don't realize how many huge mean dogs live here.

things could be better but no complaints currently. I just wish things were a little more up to date without paying an arm and a leg. Staff has been very helpful with any concerns needed.

Highly recommended! The staff here is very friendly and the property is very well maintained. As for my unit, it is very spacious and feels very welcoming.

Great apartments, amazing amenities. The pool is great in the summer. I'd give this place five stars. However, my one complaint is people not picking up after their dogs. Would recommend living here :)

I am very happy with the place, the only gripe i have is with the parking situation, i wish there were more unmarked parking spaces but that’s neither here nor there. i would have given 4.5 if i could! Overall good experience so far.

The place is just okay. There were some issues with the place the first day we moved in unfortunately. Everything should have been checked and working properly before we moved in.

The community is really nice and well maintained. The pool is my favorite amenity to use in the summer along with the grills. Although I do wish there was a time just for adults.

Community is nice well cared for. Amenities are nice. Very simple process for leasing. Most times you have difficulty receiving a call back from office.

All personal are friendly, take concerns into consideration. And they are community oriented like doing events. When snowing, they really are on top of making sure the lots are properly cleaned.

Once again I cannot be more pleased with the Northwoods West community is a very pleasant place to reside. My apartment is quite comfortable with a complete complement of appliances including central heating and air conditioning, full size washer and dryer, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator and disposal. Parking is convenient and exterior lighting is bright. Service department is staffed with extremely capable technicians that respond to issues promptly. Many amenities including pool and exercise rooms are available. The community is pet friendly with a dog exercise area available. Cannot ask for much more.

Neighbors are quiet and respectful. Area is quiet and safe. Maintenance is probably the best in the area. They raise the rent every year, at least $100. The electric bill is very high. We have electric heat and a poorly insulated building.

I llived here a few years ago and decided to move back. I really enjoyed living here. Maintenance responds quickly. No one, at least in my building, is obnoxiously loud at horrible hours. Everyone is pretty friendly or keeps to themselves.

The apartment complex is very good to live. Has a lot of amenities and trails to spend your weekend. The leasing office has been doing some community activities of late which is wonderful. I hope we keep up with such activities for residents. I will highly recommend this apartment complex

Parking in my section is tough seems to be a lot of cars per unit and some people never move their cars. Good response time by the maintenance department

Quick maintenance, spacious rooms. Appliances are not updated but they work well. Nice pool and gym space. Overall a good place to live. Can’t complain.

Experience has been okay. The team members in the leasing office are slow to respond and the pool took very long to get fixed but overall solid place to live

The apartments are ok. I did like the fact tjat we have a washer and dryer in unit, plus dishwasher. I like the calm quiet atmosphere here. Though I am not pleased that they keep raising our rent as high as they do every year it has been about $100. I cannot afford to live here any more than next years lease. Also, it is difficult to reach anyone on the phone. Maintenence is pretty good, and the staff is pretty nice. There just are not activities like we use to have. Even the Christmas party was not really about Christmas, there was hardly any Christmas music. With as much as I now pay... I can barely afford to eat well.

northwoods apartments has good amenities as well as a safe neighborhood. our dog loves the park and we love using the pools in the summer. we recommend

I think the condominium needs improvements, like lighting in the dog park, it's very dark there, I'm even afraid to go near it at night and there are still several cars parked there, people inside the car, very strange. They should put more cameras in the condominium.

Great place to live. One huge issue is the parking. Management also needs to start limiting how many dogs are on the property. Some of them are extremely mean!

Everything is so clean, wonderful area, great neighbors. Maintenance is wonderful with being fast and reliable when needed. The gym area is amazing to have! I love it here!

Beautiful complex and apartments. Application process and lease were easy. Leasing office was incredibly helpful and friendly. Looking forward to using the amenities when it gets nicer out!

I love it here and all my neighbors are great! Property is well kept and clean. Maintenance is great always courtesy and always willing to help! Glad i chose Northwoods for my living!

From setting up a tour of available rentals, to explanation of prices and community information, to signing the the lease and beyond. Throughout the whole time there were lots of questions, concerns, and problems, which were all resolved with complete explanations. The office personnel were wonderful in assisted me through all the leasing paperwork and other necessary documents as well. They are still helping me adjust to the new community connecting me to the community’s digital communication system. Getting assess to the amenity areas is the last piece I need. The office group are wonderful and have arranged several social activities for adults and families in October. It is evident that they want people who live here to become a community. It is a nice area that offers a lot of options-rental sizes, prices, and amenities.

Living in this apartment complex has been a fantastic experience. The grounds are always clean and well-kept, creating a pleasant environment to relax and enjoy. I appreciate the sense of security here, with friendly neighbors and a reliable on-site management team. Whenever I’ve had any maintenance issues, they've been resolved quickly, often within a day. The apartment itself is well-designed, with spacious rooms, ample natural light, and modern appliances that make daily life easy. The location is unbeatable—close to grocery stores, cafes, and public transport, which makes commuting a breeze. The quiet, peaceful atmosphere adds to the charm, making it a great place to unwind after a busy day. Overall, it’s been a comfortable, hassle-free place to live, and I’m grateful to call it home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a convenient, well-maintained living space.

The community is nice and well kept. There are a lot of shops nearby and the area is quiet. The pool and grill area are great in the summer!

Grounds are always kept in superb shape and the crews are professional and respectful. Our building is kept clean and updated in all ways applicable to maintain cleanliness for walls, carpets, windows and entrance doors. Northwoods East staff professional, respectful and very welcoming. Work orders are always processed in a timely fashion and staff responding to work orders very respectful and professional.

Apartment has not be what it was talked up to be. Delayed response times. No sense of community. Calls for completely “renovated” and vents in bathroom were screwed in and super glued shut. Dishwasher was hanging by the screws. Saw a car was broken into and provided no sense of clarity on what they are doing to help prevent that in the future. You are definitely seen as a dollar sign and not a person.

Great community with great staff! We renewed our lease for another year as we have loved the area where it is located and how convenient it is to get to all the locations we need.

We signed a lease for a 3rd floor apartment only to find out its the 4th floor. This wouldnt make a difference if there was an elevator, but there is not. We were never told that the top floor is an attic-it is clearly not insulated like the rest of the building so in the cold months it is FREEZING (especially in the room that gets the central air last-which literally blows cold air). In the hot months it never got below 80 degrees even though the AC was on full blast all summer (which also obviously led to very expensive electric bills). My bedroom window has been broken since I moved in. When maintenance came to fix it (for the 2nd time), he told me the windows were too old to buy the replacement parts he would need. Even if he fixed the 1 pane that wont stay in place theyre almost impossible to open. Our balcony door is just as old and we have difficulty sliding it at times Safety is a concern - the building isnt locked & our door only has a bolt lock, no handle lock. Disappointed.

I am new to northwoods apartments, so far its been nice! Im happy with my space and community. Northwoods apartments has a lot to offer to their community. The leasing office is very nice, it just takes a while to get things done, which is understanding because they are so busy. Maintenance fixed my problems quickly. Overall off to a good start

Nice, quiet, community. Respectful and responsive staff and maintenance team. Convenient location and maintained property. Sometimes flooding issues.
