So far all is good. The staff have all been friendly and have answered our questions. Everything was nice and clean. I think a walk through would have been nice. We had to figure out the plugs. Also, a fan in the living room would have been nice. Can’t believe no fan was in the living room. Had to figure out some of the appliances. Never had gas. But it worked out. Our sales lady Alicia and the two maintenance guys are great.

Units are filling up which is a good sign. We renewed our lease that had a small increase (not sure the reason). Has been a-lot of work replacing grass and repairing the curbs and roads. Only major sore point with us remains the lake area behind our unit. A company was secured in September to manage the lake to clean up and plant aquatic plants. This work has yet to begin and we are so looking forward to it. Overall very happy here.

The community is nice and very peaceful. However, the application process has been quite frustrating to say the least. There were glitches at all steps of this online process. There continue to be issues. One week here and we still have no access to our account and no way of setting up the app(s) for rent/water payments. After several requests for help with our issue, the information provided, left us in the same spot, nowhere. We signed our lease yet what we see on the limited access online, states that the application was cancelled. While the person at the concierge desk is a really nice person, she wears many hats and could use an assistant. My husband and I hope for all glitches to be resolved once and for all so that we can write a better review next time we’re asked.

We have enjoyed our experience here at Marisol and found the units to be well built and the staff to be very helpful. Suggestions for potential improvement include fixing the existing landscaping and irrigation issues and installing the fountain in the water retention pond as was presented in discussions to many of us prior to our committing to come here. After 10 months Villas have proven to be quite nice. Bad things continue to be the water quality and smell, it's very poor. The front office is not very responsive to requests, break fix, and notices, they seem like they are very inexperienced and not client focused. Yard maint and irrigation also quite poor. Dead trees, yellow grass, low mulch, exposed dirt, smelly water, etc.

We are a little discouraged with the pool and spa issues. Now the pool water is hotter than the spa water. The home held up great during the hurricanes although we had a couple of leaks.

COmpnay is slow to make repairs when needed. Grounds are not well kept, dead trees, dead grass, thin mulch, broken sprinklers, etc. Water has strong methane smell to it.

I have lived here for several months now and the villa its self is very nice. However we have had two leaks in our roof, every one of our “hurricane windows leak like crazy when it rains. They have “fixed” it 2 times now.. still not fixed. At least 4 of my neighbors have had leaks in the windows and ceiling as well. My neighbors across the street had water pouring out of an electrical port.. the landscaping crew is a joke and my gf does most of the weeding. The 1 amenity that we have is the pool and half the time they have it locked and the other half the time they don’t turn the heater on and now that it’s getting down to 50s and 60s at night it’s pretty cold and they still don’t turn it on even when requested. That’s goes for the “hot” tub as well… it’s not hot…..We pay for pest control through Marisol. But when and IF they show up on Tuesdays like they are supposed to, they spray for spiders because we are completely over run by them. But they said they don’t treat for mosquitoes, mice, ants… the workers they do have come by, just show up unannounced and without any notice from the office. They said they were putting a dog park, the area is ready to go but they haven’t put up a fence since we moved in… in May. I’m pretty sure the other reviews that rate it 5 star are fake just an fyi as I know must the neighbors and I don’t recognize any of the names. Again the villa and the water view is pretty nice. the neighborhood and neighbors are nice as well for the most part. Oh and the gate doesn’t work and won’t until construction is done. They lied about that when we moved in as well. The construction workers fly though at about 40 miles an hour… oh and the walls between villas aren’t sound proof at all. I think that’s about it… if you made it through this. Good luck on making a decision.

Everything I was told before signing was a lie. Been in since May was told gates would be closed at night within 30. Days 4 months later nothing!! The ant problem is out of control!!!!! The smell of the water in master bath is horrible! Was told dead trees in rear would be replaced 4 months still looking at dead trees!!! Pool is always dirty, spa doesn’t work half the time.

Pretty good. Huge ANT problem on move in, no pre-extermination was done. Heavy rains have decimated the mulch in most places, no gutters on back side of duplexes cause drainage issues,

We just moved in a week today and Marisol already feels like home! I love our new home, it is beautiful and comfortable and our view of the lake is gorgeous!
