Property Ratings at MAA Boulder Ridge
I just moved out from here. At first it was a great, beautiful place. Eventually we found out that the pool got closed very frequently with no notice. You just walk down to the pool, kids all excited ready to swim and find the gate locked. Couldn't even bother to put up a sign, even though this was almost weekly during the summer. Not to mention it was closed over a month at the beginning of spring, when it's actually nice outside. As we went along, maintenance issues were ignored for months. I'm sure they are busy, but a 30 year old AC unit that can't keep the apartment under 85 in the summer is something that needs to be dealt with. I had a hole in my bathroom ceiling for like 6 weeks because the upstairs apartment had some kind of leak. They patched the hole, but a couple months later it leaked again. They fixed the paint that had bubbles and fallen off, but never addressed the leak. So a week later, the mold was growing faster than I could clean it. At this point I was under a month from moving out so they said they would tear into it after I left, which is understandable. Then 3 weeks after I moved, paid everything and even paid the express cleaning charge so they wouldn't give me any problems, they charged me almost twice as much as normal for a month of water and sewer for the 1 day of December that the lease was still in my name. And I moved out the day prior. Oh also, it's mildly infuriating that I am forced to pay for valet trash, and most weeks the trash would sit outside everyone's apartments for 3+ days. Apartments in general don't care, but Boulder Ridge does a really good job at sucking money out of their residents and not providing anything other than a roof over your head.

We lived there for 12+ months until we decided to pay the penalty to terminate our lease early, so I'll try to be fair. The Good: + Maintenance crew is fantastic, super friendly and aside from being overworked, they fix everything that depends on them. + Gym is fairly complete and has a good rower, weights and then some. + Leasing office staff is way nicer when you are leasing compared when you are a resident, but overall they try to help out as much as they can. The BAD: - There is a serious Trash issue, all of the dumpsters are nasty and they make the maintenance staff pick them up, which makes you feel sorry for them. - We rented a 3 bedroom and the A/C/Heat doesn't reach the main bedroom, so it's always hot or cold in that room. This is not fixable as the unit is not strong enough to push air into it. - We had a Texas waterbug (cockroach) issue, called in pest control repeatedly, one even landing on my daughter out of the air vent. We were told these are normal in Texas. - Our windows weren't sealed enough so cold/hot air would creep inside, affecting electricity bill. These were checked by their vendor and only 1 was changed. Overall it's an OK place but in the area you can find better places to live.

Everything is good except incoming package control! The custody and notifications for packages is sub par
The living experience was nice, it was easy and simple. I enjoyed what I used of the amenities. I just don?t like the apartment style of living.
The experience is good. All of my neighbors are friendly and the pool is right across the street which is spectacular. There is an issue with picking up after pets but it seems that the community is working on that.
Wonderful. Excellent staff and helpful.
Quiet, friendly atmosphere. Service requests are handled promptly. Landscaping is immaculate. Covered parking is a plus.
It?s a great value for our area. Lots of great shopping and entertainment are close by. The grounds at our property are amazing. Friendly and courteous staff.

Clean, safe, quiet. Unique in that a one car garage is part of many units.

I love my apartment. High sceilings, nice view and very accommodating. The neighborhood is tranquil and safe. Nice community pool and gym. The only downfall is that it?s pricey and I had some issues with the stove until management replaced it after 7 times of reporting it.
I have lived in Boulder Ridge for two years now and it has been a pretty good experience. There is large open court yards with paths and a dog park which is great to walk your dogs and let them play. It is a quite community and all my neighbors have been very friendly. Management is very responsive if you have a problem. Valet trash is picked up 5 days a week.

The apartments are well kept and in a good area with a great school district for families. They have nice amenities such as a fitness center, dog park, 2 pools that are open year round, and outdoor grilling features. The office staff does a good job planning resident events such as pool parties and movie nights as well. All in all a good choice.

If you desire large floor plans at very reasonable prices, have pets like my two Labs and live an active lifestyle, this is the place for you. Just a short walk to two parks including lit tennis, basketball and beach volleyball courts as well as new skate park. Also, the downtown area which is also within walking distance offers a variety of restaurants and boutiques.

This apartment complex has just about everything you could want. It's a great location with a lot of businesses that are walking distance. It has two really nice, big and well kept pools. My apartment also just happens to have a courtyard view that's a dog walking area! It's perfect because my daughter, who I live, with has a chihuahua; that's really convenient for us. I also personally have to work out because I have a history of diabetes and absolutely love the workout room as well! The staff here at Boulder are very friendly and eager to help you with anything whenever you need. Lastly, this place is so clean you could eat off the ground! I would say overall my daughter and I are in love with this place. Very satisfied!

I am a single mom, and my daughter and I have lived in the complex for the past two years. The office has always been helpful and goes out of their way to host fun events for the tenants, so everyone feels like they are welcome. Close to great schools, grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, a park, Hawaiian Falls, and so much more! Apartments nice inside and the amenities are great as well! Two pools, laundry center, lots of parking, storage unites, garages, and valet trash. Definitely recommend Boulder Ridge Apartments!
