Seattle Central Public Innovative

Seattle Central College started out as Seattle’s first community college in 1966 and has since grown into a thriving center for higher education in the heart of the city. Seattle Central prepares students for a diverse range of pursuits with a breadth of programs, including three bachelor’s degrees, 29 associate’s degrees, and 16 professional certificates in 26 areas of study. Recognized as one of the most diverse higher education institutions in Washington, Seattle Central promotes educational excellence in a multicultural urban environment. Situated in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, Seattle Central is surrounded by a variety of apartments available for rent. Downtown and South Lake Union are both convenient to Seattle Central’s campus as well. Nearby access to I-5 makes commuting from Seattle Central simple.
